Maxxima MCL-715705 Ceiling Light Installation Guide
WARNINGS
- Risk of electric shock – Disconnect power at the source before installation.
- If you are unsure about the installation or the maintenance of the wall light, please consult an electrician.
- Do not make or alter any holes in the wiring enclosure or modify any electrical componentry
CAUTIONS
- To insure personal safety, proper grounding of the electrical fixture is required.
- The fixture must be wired in accordance with the National
Electric Code and applicable local codes or ordinances.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Shut off power at the circuit breaker or fuse before installation.
- If you are replacing an existing fixture, remove and disconnect the old fixture first.

Mounting installation
Junction Box Mounting:
- Expose the existing wires from the junction box.
- Secure both ends of the bracket to the junction box. See Figure1.
- Connect black (hot) wires together. Connect the white (neutral) wires together. Then, connect the ground (green) wires together. See figure 2.
- Ensure the wires are placed properly within the junction box.
- Secure the fixture to the mounting bracket.
- The installation is complete. Restore power to the fixture and verify the fixture operates properly.
Retrofit installation
(Only for 5/6 Inch Can)
Retrofit Mounting:
