Before the First Use
Before using the device for the first time, read the operating instruc- tions and the safety instructions carefully.
Keep the operating instructions together with the device for later use.
If other people use this device, please make these instructions available to them. If you pass the device on to third parties, these instructions belong to the device and must be supplied with it.
Intended Use
This device is designed for photo and video lighting only. It may not be used for other purposes, and especially not for domestic room lighting.
Explanation of Symbols
The following symbols are used in this manual, the Rollei LUMIS Mini LED RGB, the remote control or on the packaging.
Products marked with this symbol comply with all relevant community regulations of the European Economic Area. Products marked with this symbol are operated with direct current.

Safety Instructions

Only connect the product if the mains voltage of the USB input or USB power supply corresponds to the information on the type plate on the back of the product.
Do not use the product if it is visibly damaged or if the cable is defective.
Use only the USB-C cable supplied.
If the product or accessories are damaged, they must be replaced or repaired by the manufacturer, its customer service or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazards.
The housing must not be opened and repairs may only be carried out by a specialist. To do this, contact a specialist workshop. In the event of re pairs by the user, improper connection or incorrect operation, all liability and warranty claims are excluded.
Do not insert any objects into the product.
Do not leave the product unattended during operation.
Protect the product from moisture. Do not touch it with wet / damp hands or submerge it in water.
This product is not waterproof! Do not use this product in the rain or in wet areas.
Do not open, damage, short circuit, bypass, or use the battery for any other purpose.
Keep the battery away from children or animals, open flames and liquids and do not expose it to temperatures higher than 40° C. In addition, observe the warnings in these operating instructions.
Do not use or store the device at high temperatures or in closed rooms with direct sunlight and do not charge the battery during this time. The product should no longer be used at ambient tempe- ratures of more than 40° C.
Do not use the device in the vicinity of flammable gases or liquids, as this can lead to explosions.
Do not point the product at drivers of cars, buses, bicycles, motor- cyclists or train drivers while driving. The driver can be blinded and cause an accident. This also applies to persons or groups not listed if an accident could be caused by possible glare.
Do not point the product directly into the eyes of people or animals, as this can damage the retina, impair vision and even lead to blindness.
The device is not a toy. Keep the device, accessories and packaging mate rials away from children and pets to prevent accidents and suffocation.
Provide adequate ventilation during operation. Never cover the device.
If you sell the product to someone else, also pass these operating instructions on to this person.
Note: For lighting for photographic purposes only. Not suitable for perma nent room lighting.

Precautions

Fully charge the battery, then disconnect the USB cable.
If the product has not been used for a long period of time, charge the battery before using it again.
To extend the battery life, you should charge the battery at least every three months.
This product has a built-in, rechargeable battery that has a specific run time. If this has been used for a certain period of time, the performance of the battery will be reduced. This is normal.
If the device is used in too cold or too hot ambient temperatures, the device switches off automatically.
Please have the product checked by an authorized service center if a problem occurs. You are not permitted to dismantle the product if it malfunctions. Otherwise your guarantee will be void.

Recharge

During the charging process a battery is shown in the display. Once the battery is charged, the symbol is shown completely white. Rollei LUMIS Mini

Note:

No quickchargers and / or superchargers may be used to charge the Rollei LUMIS Mini LED RGB, only power adapters with a maximum of 5 V/1 A.
Please use only the USB cable included in the package to charge the device. Otherwise, there is a danger of fire or electric shock.

On/off switch/mode and setting button

a) Slide the On/Off switch [3] to the right or left to switch the LED light on or off.
b) Press and hold the mode button [9] to switch between CCT and RGB modes and briefly to make adjustments to colour temperature, colour values and light intensity.
c) You can use the Setting Keys [8] to adjust the brightness or colour temperature / colour values (depending on the selected CCT or RGB mode).

CCT mode

Press the mode button [9] briefly to switch between colour temperature and brightness. The number with a black background shows which mode you are currently adjusting. You can change the values with the adjustment keys [8]. The colour temperature can be set between 2500K and 9000K, the brightness between 0 – 100 %.

RGB mode

Press the mode button [9] shortly to change between colour value and brightness. The number with a black background shows which mode you are currently adjusting. With the mode keys [8] you can change the values. The colour values can be adjusted from 0 – 360, the brightness from 0 – 100 %.

Connect several LED lights together

You can connect several Rollei LUMIS Mini LED RGB video lights together by sliding the Universal Flash Shoe [1] into one of the Cold Shoe connectors [4] (see illustration):

As a consumer you are legally obliged to dispose of all batteries and accumulators, whether they contain harmful substances or not, to be disposed of in an environmentally sound manner. Accumulators and batteries are therefore marked with the symbol shown opposite. For more information, contact your dealer or contact return and collection points in your community.

Battery Warning

Never dismantle, crush, or pierce the battery, or allow the battery to short-circuit. Do not expose battery being placed in high temperature environment, if battery leaks or bulges, stop continue to use.
Always charge using the charger. Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type.
Keep the battery out of reach of children.
Batteries may explode if exposed to naked fire. Never dispose of batteries in a fire.
Disposed of used batteries observing local regulations.
Before disposing the device, please remove the battery.
