Keys and Functions Explanation

【 】Power On/Off Button: When the device is in the powered-off state, a short press will turn the device on; when the device is in the powered-on state, a short press will turn the device off.

【T/W】 Preview Screen Zoom Instructions:

  • To zoom in for telephoto (T), move the control to the right.
  • To zoom out for wide-angle (W), move the control to the left.

Manual Focus Function:
When in manual focus mode, the control can be used to adjust the focus.

Playback Function: In playback mode, the control can be used to zoom in or out on images.

  • 【 】Shutter Button: In the preview screen, a light press captures a quick shot, while a firm press takes a photograph.
  • 【 】DISP Button: In the preview screen, pressing this button cycles through three display modes—normal mode, simplified mode, and screen-off mode.
  • 【Mode Dial】Photography Mode Dial: In the preview screen, manually adjust the dial to the left or right to select the desired mode for taking photos.

  • 【 】Menu Button: In the preview screen, a short press enters the photography settings menu, another short press returns to the previous level, and using the right arrow key allows access to the video settings and system settings. In playback mode, a short press enters the playback settings menu.
  • 【 】AE/AF LOCK Button: Used to lock auto exposure (AE) and auto focus (AF) settings during photography.
  • 【 】Playback Button: In the preview screen, a short press enters the playback mode. Use the left and right arrow keys to sequentially view photos and videos. A short press in playback mode returns to the previous level.
  • 【 】Delete Button: In the preview screen, pressing this button quickly enters the delete interface. Following the prompts, you can delete the last photo taken. During playback, pressing this button allows you to delete the currently previewed photo as prompted.

  • EV 】EV Function Shortcut Key: In the preview screen, pressing this button quickly opens the EV (Exposure Value) adjustment interface. In settings and similar interfaces, it functions as an upward navigation key. During video recording, pressing this button can pause or resume recording.

  • 【 】Macro Function Shortcut Key: In the preview screen, pressing this button quickly opens the macro photography options, including AF (Auto Focus), MF (Manual Focus), and other related settings. In settings and playback interfaces, it functions as a left navigation key.

Indicator Light:
【Red Indicator Light】:

  • Constantly on during battery charging.
  • Not lit when the battery is fully charged.

【Green Indicator Light】

  • Constantly on when the camera is powered on.
  • Slow blinking during video recording.
  • Blinks once after capturing a photo.
  • Rapid blinking when the flash is activated during photo capture, indicating the battery is supplying power to the flash for approximately 10 seconds.

  • 【[xxxxx]】This indicates the current available space on the SD card and displays the number of photos that can be stored. The value changes in a decreasing manner as photos are taken and stored on the card.
  • 【 】In the timed photography mode, using the timer shortcut key opens the timer options, offering four choices: Off, 2 seconds, 5 seconds, and 10 seconds. The default setting is Off. Once set, if you switch to another photography mode or perform other operations, this setting returns to the default state.
  • 【 】In the EV (Exposure Value) setting, using the EV value shortcut key opens the EV value options, providing seven choices: +3.0, +2.0, +1.0, +0.0, -1.0, -2.0, -3.0. The default setting is +0.0.
  • 【 】In the focus setting, using the macro shortcut key opens the focus options, providing four choices: Macro (Auto), Macro (Manual), AF (Auto Focus), MF (Manual Focus).
  • 【 】In the flash setting, using the flash shortcut key opens the flash options, providing five choices: Auto, Red-eye Reduction, Forced Flash, Slow Sync, No Forced Flash. The default setting is No Forced Flash. Please ensure the flash device is turned on before using the flash function.
  • 【 】SD Card Status: There are three possible states:
  1. Inserted or Not Inserted: Indicates whether the SD card is currently inserted or not.
  2. Write Protection: Indicates if the SD card is write-protected, preventing data from being written to or modified on the card.

Photography Settings

  • 【Resolution】: This setting allows you to choose the resolution for your photos. There are four available resolution options: 64M (92006900), 32M (64804860), 16M (46083456), and 8M (32642448). The default setting is 16M. Please note that this setting is not supported in continuous shooting mode.
  • 【Quality】: This setting allows you to choose the quality of the captured photos. There are three available options: Super Fine, Fine, and Standard. The default setting is Fine. Note that this setting is not supported in filter mode.
  • 【AWB】: This setting allows you to configure the white balance for your photos. There are five available options: Auto, Daylight, Cloudy, Tungsten, and Fluorescent. The default setting is Auto. Please note that this setting is not supported in scene mode, continuous shooting mode, filter mode, or intelligent scene mode.
  • 【ISO】: This setting allows you to configure the ISO (sensitivity) for your photos. There are seven available options: Auto, ISO100, ISO200, ISO400, ISO800, ISO1600, and ISO3200. The default setting is Auto. Note that this setting is not supported in scene mode, continuous shooting mode, filter mode, or intelligent scene mode.
  • 【 Metering 】: Provides three options: AIAE (Average Exposure), Center-Weighted Exposure, and Spot Metering. The default is Center-Weighted Exposure. Different metering modes result in photos with varying brightness. For example, when capturing the moon at night, it’s recommended to use Spot Metering. This setting is not supported in continuous shooting mode, filter mode, and intelligent scene mode.
  • 【AF Lamp】: This function assists with focusing in low-light conditions. When taking photos in dimly lit environments, the focus assist light automatically illuminates to aid in focusing. This function can be turned off in settings. It is not supported in continuous shooting mode and filter mode.
  • 【AE-L&AF-L】: Provides three options: AE-L (Auto Exposure Lock), AF-L (Auto Focus Lock), and AE-L&AF-L (Auto Exposure and Auto Focus Lock). The default is AE-L&AF-L. This option determines the function of the AE/AF LOCK button. If AE-L is selected, the AE/AF LOCK button will only have AE lock functionality (locks exposure after metering once). If AF-L is selected, the AE/AF LOCK button will only have AF lock functionality (locks focus after focusing once). If AE-L&AF-L is selected, the AE/AF LOCK button will lock both AE and AF simultaneously. This setting is not supported in scene mode, continuous shooting mode, filter mode, or intelligent scene mode.
  • 【Grid Line】: This setting introduces horizontal and vertical lines on the preview screen, serving as references during photography. There are two options: On and Off. The default setting is Off.
  • 【Anti-Shake】: This feature is designed to prevent shaking during the photography process. There are two options: On and Off. The default setting is On.
  • 【Date Stamp】: This feature allows you to add a date watermark to your photos, recording the date and time when the photo was taken. When reviewing photos, you can see the date and time in the bottom right corner. There are two options: On and Off. The default setting is Off.
  • 【Quick Preview】: This setting allows for an automatic preview of the captured photo for a specified duration after a successful shot. There are three options: Off, 2 seconds, and 5 seconds. The default setting is Off.
  • 【Color】: This option is only available in filter mode and provides 13 different colour options.
  • 【Scene Selection】: This option is only available in scene mode and provides 10 different scene options.

Video Settings

【Resolution】: This setting allows you to choose the resolution for video recording. There are four available resolution options: 4K (28802160), 2K (25601440), 1080P (19201080/60fps), 1080P (19201080/30fps), and 720P.
【Date Stamp】: This feature allows you to add a date watermark to your recorded videos, recording the date and time during recording. When reviewing the videos, you can see the date and time in the bottom right corner. There are two options: On and Off. The default setting is Off.
【 Time-Lapse video】 : Time-lapse recording function, providing four options: Off, 1 second, 3 seconds, 5 seconds. The default setting is Off.

[Recording Sensitivity】: This setting provides three options: Low, Medium, High. The default setting is Medium.

System Settings

  • 【Wi-Fi】: This option allows you to enable the camera’s Wi-Fi hotspot. You can connect to the camera using a smartphone app. If already connected to a smartphone, you can press the OK button to turn off the Wi-Fi hotspot. If the Wi-Fi hotspot is open and no connection is established with a smartphone within 2 minutes, the camera will automatically turn off the Wi-Fi hotspot.
  • 【Auto Off】: This setting allows you to configure the automatic shutdown of the camera after a specified period of inactivity. There are four options: Off, 3 minutes, 5 minutes, and 10 minutes. The default setting is Off.
  • 【Language】: This setting allows you to choose the language for the camera’s operating interface. There are 13 available options, and the default is English.
  • 【Frequency】: This setting provides two options, 50Hz and 60Hz.
  • 【Sound】: In this option, you can configure the startup sound, enable or disable the shutter sound, and adjust the volume of operation key sounds.
  • 【Set Date】: This option allows manual configuration of the date and time for the camera’s system. When connected to the camera’s Wi-Fi hotspot using a smartphone, the date and time from the smartphone system will be synchronized to the camera immediately, eliminating the need for manual adjustments.
  • 【Format】: This option allows you to format the SD card inside the camera. Formatting the SD card will erase all files stored on it. Before performing this operation, ensure you have backed up any important files from the SD card.
  • 【Default】: This function restores all settings to their original factory defaults.
  • 【Version】: This option allows you to check the current software version of the camera.

Playback Settings

  • 【Slide show】: This feature allows you to start a slideshow of photos. You can set the interval duration between slides and whether the slideshow should loop.
  • 【Protect】: This function is used to lock photos. Once a photo is locked, it cannot be deleted on the camera unless it is unlocked. There are four options: Lock Current, Unlock Current, Lock All, and Unlock All.
  • 【Delete】: This function is used to delete photos and videos. There are two options: Delete Current Photo and Delete All Files.
