Rollei LUMIS Compact RGB Small LED Light
Before the First Use
Please read the operating instructions and the safety instructions carefully before using the device for the first time . Keep the operating instructions together with the device for future use . If you pass on the device to a third party, this manual is part of the device and must be supplied with the device.
Intended use
This unit is designed for use as photo and video lighting only. It must not be
used for other purposes and in particular not for domestic room lighting.
Explanation of Symbols
The following symbols are used in this manual, on the LED light or on the packaging.
- Products marked with this symbol comply with all relevant community regulations of the European Economic Area.
- Products marked with this symbol are operated with direct current.
Safety Instructions

Only connect the product if the mains voltage of the socket or
the USB input corresponds to the information on the type plate on the back of the product. -
Do not use the product if it is visibly damaged or if the cable is defective .

Use only the USB-C cable supplied.

If the product or accessories are damaged, they must be replaced or repaired by the manufacturer, its customer service or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazards.

The housing must not be opened and repairs may only be carried out by a specialist. To do this, contact a specialist workshop. In the event of repairs by the user, improper connection or incorrect operation, all liability and warranty claims are excluded.

Do not leave the product unattended during operation.

Protect the product from moisture. Do not touch it with wet/damp hands or submerge it in water.

This product is not waterproof! Do not use this product in the rain or in wet areas.

Keep the battery away from children and animals, open flames and liquids, and do not expose it to temperatures higher than 50 °C. In addition, observe the information on caring for the battery in these operating instructions.

Do not use or store the device at high temperatures or in closed rooms with direct sunlight and do not charge the battery during this time. The product should no longer be used at ambient temperatures of more than 40 °C.

Do not use the device in the vicinity of flammable gases or liquids, as this can lead to explosions.

Do not point the product at drivers of cars, buses, bicycles, motorcyclists, or trains drivers while driving. The driver can be blinded and cause an accident. This also applies to persons or groups not listed if an accident could be caused by possible glare.

Note: For lighting for photographic purposes only. Not suitable for permanent room lighting.
Precautions
- Fully charge the battery, then disconnect the USB cable.
- If the product has not been used for a long period of time, charge the battery before using it again.
- To extend the battery life, you should charge the battery at least every three months.
- This product has a built-in, rechargeable battery that has a specific run time. If this has been used for a certain period of time, the performance of the battery will be reduced. This is normal.
- If the device is used in too cold or too hot ambient temperatures, the device switches off automatically.
- Please have the product checked by an authorized service center if a problem occurs. You are not permitted to dismantle the product if it malfunctions. Otherwise, your guarantee will be void.

Operation
On / Off button [3]
Press the on/off button and mode button [3] long to switch the Rollei LUMIS
Compact RGB on or off. Press the on/off button and mode button [3] shortly to
switch between the CCT, RGB, and Effects modes
Turning Wheel for Brightness Regulation [1]
The brightness can be set smoothly via the turning wheel for the regulation of
the brightness [1] in the selected modes.
CCT Mode
- Remaining battery level
- Color Temperature
- Brightness
Turn the toggle switch for mode settings [2] to set the color temperature between 2500 and 9000 K.
RGB Mode
- Remaining battery level
- RGB color hue
- Brightness
Turn the toggle switch for mode settings [2] to set the RGB color hues between 0 and 360 . By pressing the on/off and mode button [3] again, you can adjust the saturation of the selected RGB color via the toggle switch for mode settings [2]
Effects Mode
- Remaining battery level
- Chosen effect
- Brightness
Turn the toggle switch for mode settings [2] to change between the effects. In total, you can choose between 20 effects:

Charging
The charging level of the battery is shown in the display [5]. While being
charged, the bars of the digital battery in the display are moving. When fully
charged, the bars of the digital battery in the display are all shown.
Notes:
- No quick chargers and/or superchargers may be used to charge the Rollei LUMIS Compact RGB, only power adapters with a maximum of DC 5 V / 1 .35 A.
- Please use only the USB cable included in the package to charge the device . Otherwise, there is a danger of fire or electric shock.

Battery Warnings
- Do not disassemble, hit or puncture the battery, be careful not to short-circuit the battery. Do not expose the battery to places with high temperatures. Do not continue to use the battery if it leaks or expands.
