Characteristics

  • This wireless contact converter is especially appropriate for wireless transmission of information on switching HDO.
  • Thanks to the network supply, it can also be used for partial transmission of information for control of an appliance or device.
  • One-module design of the unit with mounting into switchboard.
  • After leading in power /disconnecting the supply to the “S” terminals, the switch on/off command is transmitted and then this command is being periodically transmitted in an interval of 2 min.
  • The button TEST on the controller is used to assign to a switching unit.
  • Option of setting light scenes, where with a single press, you can control multiple units of iNELS RF Control.
  • The package includes an internal antenna AN-I, in case of locating the converter in a metal switchboard, you can use the external antenna AN-E for better signal reception.
  • Range up to 160 m (in open space), if the signal is insufficient between the controller and unit, use the signal repeater RFRP-20.
  • Communication frequency with bidirectional protocol iNELS RF Control.

Compatibility

The RFSG-1M converter is compatible with all iNELS RF Control switching components.

  • Programming is performed using the TEST button.

Programming

  1. Pressing of the programming button on the actuator (e.g. RFSAI-61B-SL) for 1 second will activate the actuator into programming mode. LED is fl ashing in 1s interval.

  2. Press and hold the TEST button on RFSG-1M for more than 4s to automatically assign the RFSG-1M transmitter to the actuator.

  3. Press of programming button on actuator RFSAI-61B-SL shorter then 1 second will fi nish programming mode, LED switches off .

Indicators, settings

After connecting the power supply, the red LED lights up continuously for 3 seconds and then the selected controller function is indicated by fl ashing LED for 5 seconds.

  • double fl ash – standard RFIO2 operating mode
  • rapid fl ashing – mode of compatibility with older actuators

If you do not want to change the function of the controller, you must not press the TEST button during this time.

To switch between RFIO2 mode and compatibility mode:
If you need to change the operating mode of the controller, after connecting the power supply, when the LED is lit continuously, press the TEST button and hold until the LED starts to signal the changed mode (double fl ash or rapid fl ash). Then the button must be released. The selected function mode is stored in memory and after connecting the power supply, the controller continues to operate in the same mode.

Max Tightening Torque for antenna connector is 0.56 Nm.
Attention:
When you instal iNELS RF Control system, you have to keep minimal distance 1 cm between each units.
Between the individual commands must be an interval of at least 1s.

Do not touch parts of the device that are energized – life threat. Due to the transmissivity of RF signal, observe the correct location of RF components in the building where the installation is taking place. RF Control is designated only for mounting in interiors. Devices are not designated for installation into exteriors and humid spaces. They must not be installed into metal switchboards and into plastic switchboards with metal doors – transmissivity of RF signal is then impossible. RF Control is not recommended for pulleys etc. – the radiofrequency signal can be shielded by an obstruction, interfered with, battery of the transceiver can get fl at etc., and thus disable the remote control.
