SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read the instructions carefully before using the device for the first time and keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.

  • Use this appliance only for intended purposes as described in this manual.

  • WARNING : to recharge the battery, use only the detachable power supply provided with the device.

  • WARNING : remove the charger cable before cleaning the
    device and hold it tightly so it does not fall into water.

  • This device has batteries that cannot be substituted.

  • The charger includes a transformer which must not be cut and replaced by another plug, otherwise it will cause serious damage.

  • If the charger is damaged, it must be replaced by a new original one to avoid any danger.

  • The charge and storage temperature of the product must be between 5ºC and 35ºC.

  • Do not use the product if it is damaged, nor after it malfunctions or has been dropped in any liquid.

  • Make sure the charger does not get wet.

  • Unplug the charger before cleaning the product with water.

  • The only part of the shaver that can be washed with water is its head. Do not immerse the product unit in water.

  • This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

  • Children must not play with the appliance.

  • Cleaning and maintenance must not be performed by children without supervision.

  • Keep children away from the device.

  • While the device is charging press the on/off button so it start charging.

  • Make sure you place the protector on the shaver when travelling to protect its head.

  • Clean the interior of the shaver if it does not work after pressing the on/off button.

BATTERY INSTRUCTIONS

  • This appliance includes a Li-ion battery, do not incinerate or expose them to high temperatures, as they may explode.
  • Leaks from the battery or battery cells can occur under extreme conditions. Do not touch any liquid that leaks from the battery. If the liquid gets into contact with skin, wash immediately with soap and water. If the liquid gets into the eyes, flush them immediately with clean water for a minimum of 10 minutes and seek medical attention. Wear gloves to handle the battery and dispose of immediately in accordance with local regulations.
  • Unplug the device before you remove the battery.
  • Avoid contact between the battery and small metallic objects such as paper clips, coins, keys, nails or screws.
  • Before a new battery is used or the battery is used for the first time after long-term storage, fully charge the battery.
  • When the device is stored and not used for long periods of time, ensure that the battery pack is fully charged.
  • Keep batteries out of the reach of children when there is a risk of ingestion.
  • Battery ingestion can cause burns, soft tissue perforation and death. It can cause severe burns within two hours of the ingestion.
  • In case of battery ingestion please seek medical help immediately.

BEFORE USE

  • This product includes a package designed to protect it during transport. Unpack the appliance and keep the original packaging and materials in a safe place. It will help prevent any damage if the product needs to be transported in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
  • Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or not in good condition, immediately contact the Technical Support Service of Cecotec.

Charge

  • Before using this product for the first time, charge it until it is completely charged.
  • Make sure the device is switched off before charging it.
  • It is recommended not to connect the product to the mains for more than 24 hours.

Notes

When the battery is charged, the full charge indicator will light up.

OPERATION

How to charge the device

  • Connect the charging plug in the device, the USB cord in an adapter, and then connect the adapter to the mains.

  • You can also connect the charging plug in the base bracket and place the device in the base to charge it. (Fig. 2).
    Operation

  • The charge indicator will light up to show the device is charging.

  • When the battery is fully charged,the full charge indicator will light up, unplug the charger and the device.

  • You can use the device while it is charging.

Warning

Even if the product features a protection against overload, do not overload it.

If you do not use the product for a long period of time (2-3 months), unplug it from the mains and store it. Recharge it completely before using it again.
To lengthen the battery life, let it completely discharge every six months and fully recharge it.

Warning

When you plug the charge connector to the device, check the marks ± are facing up, as shown in the figure. Once it is charged, the light indicator will turn on. Do not insert the connector facing down, as it will not charge. (Fig. 4).

Shaving

  1. Press the On/off button to turn the machine on.

  2. Move the head part of the shaver over the skin in straight lines and in circles. (Fig. 5).

  3. Press the On/off button to turn the machine off.

  4. Cover the head of the shaver with the protector after using it to avoid any damage.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • To ensure the best results, the appliance should be cleaned regularly.
  • The easiest and most hygienic manner to clean the product is to wash the shaver head and the waste compartment with water after every use.
  • Be careful when you use hot water. Make sure the water is not too hot to avoid damaging your hands.
  • You must clean the shaver head and the waste compartment after every use.
  1. Unplug the shaver and the charger, and remove the product cord.

  2. Open the shaver head. (Fig. 6)

  3. Clean the shaver head and the waste compartment with hot water.

  4. Make sure you completely clean the shaver head and the waste compartment.

  5. You can also use the brush included to clean the waste compartment.

  6. Clean the device body with a damp cloth and dry it thoroughly.

  7. Dry the shaver head and close it.

  8. Do not clean the upper part of the shaver head with a towel or paper, as it could damage the head.

  9. The shaver head is detachable, place it as shown in the figure. (Fig. 7)

  1. Hold down the On/off button for 3 seconds and the LED display will show the device is locked ( Fig. 8)

Smart reminder

When you need to clean the shaver, the LED display will show ‘Clean’. (Fig. 10).

Head replacement

Replace the shaver head once every year for better results. The shaver will have a long shelf life if it is kept in good condition.
Damaged or worn shaving heads can only be replaced with Cecotec products.

  1. Remove the old shaving head assembly from the shaver. (Fig. 11).

  2. Insert the new shaving head tab (1) in the slot on the upper part of the shaver (2) and press the shaving head to fix it on the shaver (until it clicks). (Fig. 12).

Heads are interchangeable, place the head to be used on the device after removing the previously assembled head. (Fig. 13)

Environmental protection

The rechargeable battery contains substances that may pollute the environment and should therefore be removed form the product or sent to the officially designated recycling center for  proper disposal.

The battery should not be removed if it is not discharged.

  1. Unplug the charger and remove the product cord as well.

  2. Keep the shaver running until it stops, then remove the screw and open the shaver. (Fig. 14).

  3. Remove the battery and dispose of it according to local regulations. Do not plug the shaver again after removing the battery.
