USER MANUAL

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read these instructions thoroughly before using the product. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.

  • Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated on the rating label of the appliance and that the wall outlet is grounded.

  • This product is designed exclusively for household use. Do not operate it outdoors.

  • Place the device on a flat, stable surface.

  • Do not immerse the cord, plug, or any non-removable part of the appliance in water or any other liquid, nor expose electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are completely dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.

2. BEFORE USE

  • Take the product out of the box and remove all packaging materials.
  • Make sure all parts and accessories are present and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or not in good condition, immediately contact the Technical Support Service of Cecotec.
  • Thoroughly clean all the product’s parts that come into contact with ingredients before operating it for the first time.

Warning: when using the device for the first time, it may emit an unusual odour. This is due to manufacturing residues. It’s normal and does not imply malfunction.

3. PRODUCT ASSEMBLY

Place the main juice container in the device and secure it by turning it clockwise.

Install the filter in the main juice container and press lightly until the base of the filter is firmly in place.

Place the transparent lid in position and secure it by turning it clockwise.

Install the pulp tank on the main body. To install it, tilt it lightly. Insert the pusher through the transparent lid and place the juice jug under the juice spout.

4. OPERATION

This juicer is designed with a safety system and can only operate when all parts are properly installed.

Please note:

  • It is not recommended to blend bananas, peaches, mango, and other similar fruits with low juice content.
  • Cocoa and other hard fruits are not recommended as they may damage both the filter and the motor.
  • Remove the stone and pips from lemons, grapes, and the hard part of the pineapple and other similar fruits.
  • This appliance is not suitable for blending vegetables with fibres such as sugar canes.
  • Before connecting the appliance to the mains, make sure that the knob is in position 0, the juice jug is under the juice spout, and the lid is in place.
  • Cut the fruit into small pieces and insert them through the inlet tube.
  • The device can blend at 2 speeds:
  • 1: Low speed
  • 2: High speed
  • Connect the device to a mains socket and turn the knob to select the desired speed.
  • Insert the cut fruit through the inlet tube and use the pusher to push the pieces in evenly. Do not push too hard.
  • It is not recommended to use the device for more than 1 minute.
  • Make sure that the spout is in the open position so that juice can flow out. Once the juice has been poured, put the spout in the non-drip position.

Please note: Do not put fingers or other objects inside the ingredient inlet tube. If the inlet tube .

  • Once you have finished using the device, turn the knob back to the “0” position.
  • Clean the device and all its parts after every use.

Tips

  • Ingredients must be inserted into the appliance one at a time. Do not introduce a new ingredient until the previous one has been blended.
  • Very fibrous ingredients (such as celery) should be cut into small pieces of 1-2 cm. Ingredients with particularly tough fibres should be inserted slowly and in pieces of 3 cm maximum.
  • When using fruits and vegetables with low juice content, it is advisable to mix them with others of high juice content. For example, if you want to blend carrots, mix them with pears.
  • The juice amount will depend on the water content of each fruit or vegetable.
  • Ingredients that are kept in the refrigerator for a long time can become dry and lose juice.
  • They should be liquefied after soaking them in clean water for a while so that they absorb some of it.
  • Hard ingredients are not suitable for juices (such as sugar canes).
  • When blending carrots or apples (hard skin), you may hear a rubbing sound. This does not

5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Clean the appliance with water. Do not use chemical or harsh abrasive cleaning agents.
  • Use a dry, soft cloth to clean the motor base. Do not clean this part with a wet cloth.

Maintenance

If the product does not operate normally, it emits uncommon noises, or shakes more than it normally does, stop using the product and contact the Technical Support Service of Cecotec for reparation. Do not carry out maintenance tasks yourself.

Storage

  • After cleaning the device, make sure it is thoroughly dried before storing it.
  • After using the product, store it in a dry, safe place.
  • Avoid direct exposure to sunlight.
  • Make sure it is stored in a place out of the reach of children.

6. TROUBLESHOOTING

8. DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC APPLIANCES
