Product Usage Instructions
Awning Hardware Setup:
Before proceeding with the setup, familiarize yourself with the different hardware components:
- L-Bracket
- U-Bolt
- Round Clamp
- T-Bolt 20mm
- T-Bolt 13mm
- U-Shape Bolt
- T-Slot (two sizes included)
- Round Bar Clamp
L-Bracket Orientation:
Refer to the vertical facing of the L-Bracket when following the setup instructions.
Step 1: Spread the Awning
- Unzip the storage bag and carefully unroll the SUV Awning.
Step 2: Set up the Awning
- Remove all stakes and fold the guyline, storing them properly.
- Put poles into the U-shape groove following specific instructions for each step.
Step 3: Stake the Awning
- Secure velcro tape around side poles and peg out guy ropes to anchor the awning securely.
- Follow specific instructions for unlocking and repositioning side poles and vertical poles.
Step 4: Roll up the Awning
- Roll up the awning carefully and secure it with the zipper.
Product Safety Instructions
CAUTION: Keep all flame and heat sources away from the product fabric. The fabric is not fireproof but is made with flame-resistant material meeting CPAI84 specifications.
Avoid erecting near-open flames or using fuel-burning devices around the product to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning.
Care Instructions:
- Spot clean or use cold water with mild detergent and a soft brush or sponge for cleaning.
- Rinse thoroughly and air dry. Do not use bleach or chemical cleaners.

- Q: Can the awning be left set up in windy conditions?
- A: It is recommended to take down the awning during strong winds to prevent damage.

Awning Hardware Setup Instructions
To connect the awning to a vehicle, locate the appropriate hardware kit associated with the vehicle’s crossbar profile. Select the proper hardware kit by matching the profile shape of your crossbars with one of the three below categories.
Before proceeding, please familiarize yourself with the L-Bracket. The instructions will refer to the vertical facing of the L -Bracket. Use the image below for reference:
Square U-Bolt Instructions
Step 1 – Secure the L-Bracket to the Cross Bars
- Place the supplied L-Bracket on top of your crossbars, with the vertical end facing away from the vehicle
- Place Square U-Bolts on top of the L-Bracket with the mounting plate under the crossbar
Tip – The U-Bolt assembly should be 4 inches apart
Tip – Ensure vertical faces of L-Brackets are aligned before fully
tightening
- Tighten each lock nut evenly while keeping L-Brackets level and aligned
Step 2 – Attach your Awning to the L-Brackets
- Slide 4 Awning T-Bolts into Awning channels, found on the backside of Awning
- With a partner, hold the Awning up to the L-Bracket and align T-Bolt threads with L-Bracket holes on the vertical faces
- Insert T-bolts through the L-bracket holes and tighten the lock nuts with a few turns, without fully tightening
Tip – The Awning T-Bolts should still be able to move
- Ensure Awning is centered between both crossbars, then fully tighten all lock nuts to secure the Awning
T-Slot Instructions
- Step 1 – Secure the L-Bracket to the Cross Bars
- Insert T-bolts into the channel after removing or depressing the rubber strip
- Tip – T-Bolt heads should slide back and forth but not fully rotate
- Place L-Bracket on both T-Bolts, providing a minimum of 1 empty hole set in between each T-Bolt.
- Tip – Ensure vertical faces of L-Brackets are aligned before fully tightening
- Tighten each lock nut evenly
- Step 2 – Attach your Awning t o the L-Brackets
- Slide 4 Awning T -Bolts into Awning channels, found on the backside of Awning
- With a partner, hold the Awning up to the L-Bracket and align T-Bolt threads with L-Bracket holes on the vertical faces
- Insert T-bolts through the L-bracket holes and tighten the lock nuts with a few turns, without fully tightening
- Tip – The Awning T-Bolts should still be able to move back and forth inside the Awning channel
- Ensure the Awning is centered between both crossbars, then fully tighten all lock nuts to secure the Awning
Round Clamp Instructions
- Step 1 – Secure the L-Bracket to the Cross Bars
- Place the top section of the scope ring clamp onto the round bar
- Hold the lower section under bar and insert both screws, do not fully tighten (Repeat 4x)
- Place L-Bracket on top of scope ring holes, providing a minimum of 1 empty hole set in between each clamp.
- Insert screws and fully tighten.
- Ensure the vertical faces of L-Brackets are aligned, then fully tighten the clamps
- Step 2 – Attach your Awning t o the L-Brackets
- Slide 4 Awning T-Bolts into awning channels, found on the backside of Awning
- With a partner, hold the Awning up to the L-Bracket and align T-Bolt threads with L-Bracket holes on the vertical faces
- Insert T-bolts through the L-bracket holes and tighten the lock nuts with a few turns, without fully tightening
- Tip – The Awning T-Bolts should still be able to move back and forth inside the Awning channel
- Ensure the Awning is centered between both crossbars, then fully tighten all lock nuts to secure the Awning

STEP 1-Spread the Awning
- Unzip the storage bag, release the velcro straps and carefully unroll the SUV Awning.
SETP 2-Set up the Awning
- 1. Take out the both sides of pole from the front U-shape groove. / 2. Set up two of the vertical poles, and twist to lock at a desired height.
- 3. Take out the side pole from the U-shape groove then grasp the side pole and insert the pole tip spigot into the appropriate hole.
- 4. Twist to lock the side pole and hole And then walk to the other side and repeat the process.
STEP 3-Stake the Awning
- Secure the velcro tape around the side poles.
- Peg out the guy ropes and pole bases ensuring the awning remains securely anchored.
STEP1-Remove the stake
- Carefully remove all of the stakes and fold the guyline, remove excess soil from the stakes and store them in their bag. /
- Remove the velcro taps from side pole
STEP2-Put poles into a U-shape groove
- Twist to unlock the side poles and take out from the hole, then put it back in the U-shape groove. / 2. Twist to unlock to vertical pole, then put it back in the front U-shape groove.
STEP3-Roll up the Awning
- Roll up the Awning and put it into the storage bag.
- Strap the Awning by velcro taps to ensure it is fixed in the bag, then close the zipper.
