SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS
When using electrical equipment, basic safety precautions should always be
observed. Read and follow all safety instructions.
- Installation should only be conducted by a qualified electrician in accordance with NEC and any relevant local building codes.
- Risk of fire or electric shock. Fixture installation requires knowledge of luminaire electrical systems. nonqualified, do not attempt installation. Contact a qualified electrician.
- Be certain electrical power is OFF before and during installation and maintenance.
- Fixtures must be connected to a wiring system with an equipment-grounding conductor.
- Make sure the supply voltage is the same as the rated luminaire fixture voltage.
- Only those open holes indicated in the photographs and/or drawings may be made or altered as a result of this kit strip installation. Do not leave any other open holes in an enclosure of wiring or electrical components.
- To prevent wiring damage or abrasion, do not expose wiring to the edges of sheet metal or sharp objects.
- Suitable for damp locations.
INSTALLATION
BEFORE BEGINNING INSTALLATION, TURN OFF THE POWER AT THE CIRCUIT BREAKER.

Inspect the Strip Retrofit to understand its components. See Figure A.

Turn off the power at the electrical panel, refer to Figure 1

Remove the existing tubes, sockets, cover plate and ballast. Leave the housing in place, refer to Figure 2

Before attaching the retrofit to the housing, find the wattage/CCT switch beside the driver and select the preferred wattage and color temperature, refer to Figure 3 Wattage settings:

4′ retrofit: 78W (2,250 lumens) I 25W (3,725 lumens) I 30W (3,750 lumens) I 40W (5,000 lumens)

8′ retrofit: 46W (5,750 lumens) I 60W (7,500 lumens) I lOW (8,750 lumens) I BOW (70,000 lumens
CCT settings: -
· 3500Kl4000Kl5000K
CCT & Watts Slide Switch Default Settings -
Unhook the safety cables from the retrofit strip. Secure the safety cables by screwing them directly into the housing using provided self-tapping screws, refer to Figure 4 Now hook back the safety cables with the retrofit strip, the retrofit will now hang from the housing.

Once the fixture is securely hanging, make wiring connections using the included quick-connector, refer to Figure 5Install the ground wire into top of the existing fixture, refer to Figure 6
- Black= AC Line
- White = AC Neutral
- Green = Ground
- Purple= Dimming(+)
- Gray/Pink= Dimming(-)
- Yellow= 72V(+)

When wiring is complete, adjust the width arms as per your width housing. The range of width can be from 2.7″ to 5.3″ refer to Figure 7

Raise the retrofit up to the housing and secure it using the included screws. Use the pre-drilled holes on each side of the retrofit as a guide, refer to Figure 8

Apply the included retrofit and service labels to the outside of the housing.

Restore power and your installation is complete, refer to Figure 9
