Regulus TP18 LCD Electronic Thermostat
Thermostat Location
The thermostat is designed for interior use only. It should be installed on an inner wall about 1.5 m above the floor in a position where it is exposed to temperature changes thanks to freely circulating air. Do not install over hot surfaces (e.g. TV set, heating, refrigerator), do not expose to direct sunshine, draft, radiation from appliances, do not install into a laundry. Do not expose the thermostat to dripping/splashing water.
Installation
- Thermostat mounting:
- Route the wires through the hole at the terminal block (thermostat’s rear side).
- Attach the thermostat to the wall with the enclosed dowels and screws.
- Electric wiring
- Connect the appropriate wires into the terminal block as shown in the wiring drawing inside the cover.
- Temperature setting
- Select the desired temperature by pressing . During temperature adjusting, the symbol and the desired temperature are shown on the display.
- 8 sec. after temperature setting the display returns to room temperature and the hand symbol disappears.
- The thermostat status is indicated by a thermometer symbol. If the thermostat is closed (“heating active“), the thermometer symbol is blinking on the display.
- Jumper selection (normally set to heating)
- By the jumper either heating (Heater), or cooling (Cooler) function can be selected.
- If the jumper is not fitted, the thermostat will not work.
- Battery installation/replacement
Use only identical or equivalent type of batteries. Do not dispose of batteries with regular household trash.
