Regulus 9688 Filling Pumps
Product Information
The product is a filling pump that comes in two variants – manual and electric. The manual filling and top-up pump is suitable for smaller solar thermal systems and can stay installed in a system for solar fluid top-up when needed. It can also be used for filling heating systems with cleaning and protective solutions. The pump comes with a hose socket, pump housing, piston, discharge side, handle, ball valve, 600ml fluid container, and a 3/4 MFU connecting union on the discharge side. The electric filling and top-up pump features a reliable low-noise piston pump that connects directly to a 25l plastic container fitted with a DIN 61 thread. It has a thermocouple integrated into the pump, protecting it against overheating and permanent damage. All the components that come in contact with fluid are made of stainless steel or plastic. The electric pump comes with a hose socket (1/2), air vent valve with 2m suction hose to connect to a pump (A) and filling valve (B), return hose socket, screw container cap with DIN 61 thread, and can handle up to 8 fluids and chemicals.
Product Usage Instructions
- To use the manual filling and top-up pump, connect the hose socket to the system’s filling valve. Open the ball valve and start pumping until the desired level is reached. To use it for filling heating systems with cleaning and protective solutions, connect the hose socket to the system’s filling valve, add the cleaning or protective solution to the fluid container, open the ball valve, and start pumping until the desired level is reached.
- To use the electric filling and top-up pump, connect the suction hose to the air vent valve and insert it into a fluid container. Connect the return hose socket to the system’s filling valve. Plug in the power supply cable and switch on the pump. The pump will start filling the system with fluid until the desired level is reached. Ensure that the fluid container is fitted with a DIN 61 thread to avoid leakage. The electric pump can also be used for filling heating systems with cleaning and protective solutions by following the same process as filling fluids.
