Before Use
Make sure to read the safety instructions in the manual before using the product.

Operation

  1. Fill the water tank with water and plug in the device.
  2. Turn on the device using the ON/OFF switch.
  3. Wait for the device to heat up and start producing steam.
  4. Use the provided attachments as needed for different cleaning tasks.
  5. Move the steam cleaner over the surface to be cleaned, holding the steam nozzle a few inches away.
  6. For stubborn dirt, you may need to hold the steam on the spot for a few seconds before wiping.

Cleaning and Maintenance
After each use, empty any remaining water from the tank and allow the device to cool down before storing. Regularly clean the attachments and descale the device as per the manufacturer’s instructions.

Disposal of Old Electrical Appliances
Follow local regulations for the proper disposal of old electrical appliances. Do not dispose of the device in regular  household waste.

BEFORE USE

Take the product out of the box.
Remove all packaging materials, rating labels and transport protectors before plugging the device. Keep the original box.
Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If any visible signs of damage are observed, contact Cecotec’s Technical Support Service immediately.

Note:
Steam or steam pressure may loosen, detach, discolour, deform or melt the surface to be cleaned.
Always check the heat and humidity resistance of the material to be cleaned by carrying out a preliminary test on a hidden surface.

OPERATION

Attaching accessories
Attach the accessories to the pistol handle or one or two extension tubes.

Filling the water tank

  • Suitable water: Tap water, demineralised water or distilled bottled water.
  • Always use clear, pure water.
  • To ensure the long-life of your appliance, we recommend that you use mix tap water and
  • Never use pure demineralised water, water collected from a tumble drier or water softener or rainwater.
  • Release the safety button from the water tank.
  • Replace the water tank safety button.
  • Note: The safety button will not open when there is pressure in the device.
  • You must remove any steam or leave the appliance to cool before opening.

Warning :

  • Do not point the jet of steam in the direction of any person, animal. electrical plugs,
  • Do not change the attachments whilst the appliance is emitting steam.

Using the device

  • Plug the appliance into a power supply.

Press the ON button.
The pressure indicator light will illuminate.
The appliance is ready to emit steam when this indicator light changes from orange to green. Remove the steam safety lock and press the steam On/Off button positioned on the pistol handle to generate steam.
After use, press the steam button for a few seconds to remove any residual condensation water in the main hose.

Using the accessories:
Use it with the mop cloth.
The big nozzle can be used with or without the extension tubes. The concentrated steam jet increases the cleaning power to remove any encrusted dirt.
The round nylon brush connects to the big nozzle. It is suitable for cleaning small, very soiled surfaces and bathrooms.
Note: On cold windows, pre-heat the surface initially by spraying the steam thirty centimetres away from the glass.

Filling the water tank during use
Always wait for the appliance to stop generating steam and ensure that the device is no longer

Filling methods: Press the steam generator button to spray the steam until the device is empty.
Release the control and open the safety button. Steam may be released on opening.

Cleaning
Wait for the steam to take effect and check that there is no colour change or deformity.

Switching off the device
Place the On/Off button in the Off position.
Unplug from the electric socket, leave the appliance to cool and put away.

 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Disconnect the appliance from the power supply, turn it off and allow it to cool down before cleaning or storing it.
  • Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the device’s surface.
  • Clean dust from the device’s surface and vents regularly.
  • Clean and store the device in a safe, dry place if it is not going to be used for a long period of time.
  • Avoid the use of abrasive cleaning agents or scouring pads as these could damage the product.
  • The power cord should not be in contact with sharp edges, and it should not be compressed by heavy objects. Store the cord in a clean, dry location always away from metal objects. Do not place any heavy items on top of appliance during storage as this may result in possible damage of appliance.

DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES

The European directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), specifies that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of with the normal unsorted municipal waste. Old appliances must be collected separately, in order to optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials they contain and reduce the impact on human health and the environment. The crossed out “wheeled bin” symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation to dispose of the appliance correctly. If the product has a built-in battery or uses batteries, they should be removed from the appliance and disposed of appropriately. Consumers must contact their local authorities or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of old appliances and/or their batteries.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND WARRANTY

This product is under warranty for 2 years from the date of purchase, as long as the proof of purchase is submitted, the product is in perfect physical condition, and it has been given proper use, as explained in this instruction manual.

The warranty will not cover the following situations: The product has been used for purposes other than those intended for it, misused, beaten, exposed to moisture, immersed in liquid or corrosive substances, as well as any other fault attributable to the customer.
The product has been disassembled, modified, or repaired by persons, not authorised by the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec. Faults deriving from the normal wear and tear of its parts, due to use. The warranty service covers every manufacturing defects of your appliance for 2 years, based on current legislation, except consumable parts. In the event of misuse, the warranty will not apply.
