INSTALLATION
The installation operations can only be carried out by adequately qualified people and who have read and understood the instruction manual.
- Electrical installation to standard, in compliance with legislation in force in the country of installation.
- Electrical installation according to safety standards and legislation in force.
- The charge station must only be connected to a power supply system with neutral conductor connected to the earth.
- The charge station must be protected by a type A residual current device.
- The power line must be protected by an adequate circuit breaker with C curve.
- The connections compartment should only be opened by qualified staff.
- Use the device exclusively for applications compliant with its intended use.
- Do not use private generators as a charging power source.
The charging station should be installed in a location that meets the following requirements:
- Protected from direct sunlight.
- Sufficiently ventilated.
- Far from sources of heat.
- Ambient temperature between -20°C and +50°C.
- Altitude above sea level up to 2000m.
- Protected from rainwater, running water and other liquids.
- Easily accessible.
- Maintain a distance of at least 500 mm from other devices or objects.
Do not install the charging station in:
- Locations with constant dust production (both conductive and non-conductive).
- Locations with presence of corrosive vapours, acids or salts.
- Locations with flammable substances.
- Locations at risk of explosion.
Wall mounting
Carefully unpack the charging station, checking all parts are intact. Keep the
original packaging if it may be sent for any repairs. The content of the
package is outlined in Fig. C.
The device must be assembled in the vertical position at a height of
approximately 150cm (from the lower edge to the floor). The assembly wall must
be flat and stable.
Fasten shelf A (Fig. D-1) to the charging station with the 4 M6x12 screws
supplied.
Fasten shelf B (Fig. D-1) to the wall with the 4 screws and 4 plugs supplied. Position the device over the shelf and slide it top to bottom parallel to the wall until all the fittings are hooked to the respective slots (Fig. D-2). Check correct positioning, checking it is parallel to the wall. Try to distance it from the wall to check its correct hooking to the shelves. Fasten the device with the specific M5x12 screws on the upper and lower side (Fig. D-3). Lastly, fasten the cable winder to the wall using the 2 screws and 2 plugs supplied (Fig. D-4).
Electrical connection
The electrical connection should be installed:
- In compliance with national legislation.
- Only by qualified operators.
- After fastening the device to the wall.
The charging station must have a dedicated power line, protected by an adequate circuit breaker switch with C curve and a type A residual current device (See 7.1).
For electrical connection installation:
- Disconnect the power line via the circuit breaker switch and residual current device.
- Open the connections compartment on the back of the device (Fig. E-1).
- Remove the sheath from the cable and strip the cores of the conductors (Fig. E-2).
- Insert the cable using the cable gland on the lower side (Fig. E-3).
- Fasten the 3 conductors to the terminal board, respecting L, N, PE (Fig. E-4).
- Close the connections compartment.
- Reposition the charging station on the wall, as previously described.
