Check Your Factory Radio
- SYFT7294L Radio comes with XC004 harness which the harness only support steering wheel control. If your tacoma has factory jbl amplifier or backup camera, please purchase SYFT7294H model.
- OEM Radio Model A: 2005-2012 Toyota Tacoma with small screen. This radio is wihout factory JBL Amplifier and factory Backup camera.
- OEM Radio Model B: 2012-2014 Toyota Tacoma with large screen
- The factory radio has factory JBL Amplifier and factory backup camera.
- OEM Radio Model C: 2011-2015 Toyota Tacoma with large screen
- The factory radio has factory JBL Amplifier and factory backup camera.
- CAN004-X harness with Simple Soft Canbus fits Model B and Model C. It can support factory factory SWC, factory JBL and factory backup camera.

How to connect CAN004-X harness
- STEP 1: Here are instructions for connecting the harness to CAN004-X.
- STEP 2: How to connect factory backup camera
- You need to connect the yellow male camera RCA of CAMERA Connector （CAN004-X）with the PIN10 Rear CAM VIN.
- Note: It is a Nissan Wiring harness in the picture. It is as a reference.
- STEP 3: How to Choose the options for Canbus
- S1: connect the head unit with your Phone hotspot or wifi first.
- Press Car Settings — Factory — Select Models — password is 123456 — Model choose.
- S2: Choose CanBox Brand: Simple Soft — Toyota– Models:2010 Sequoia — Config: Public — Logo：Toyota
Finally, press ok to save the settings. Then the head unit will update it
automatically.

STEP 2: Set Camera Format
Problem: Why my backup camera image is black when I put the car in
reverse?
Please confirm the resolution of your camera first.
- If your camera is not HD, please choose normal — SD — NTSC/PAL.
- If your camera is HD version, please choose the normal — HD — AHD 720P/25fps, or AHD 1080P/25fps.
- Then test the camera again after you change the camera format.

- S1. You need to connect wifi to activate Tlink when you use it at the first.
- How to find the wifi.
- Please drop down Quick Setting Menu.
- And then a long-press wifi icon to turn on it. and then you can try to connect your phone hotspot first.
- Note: Please clear the Tlink usage record first.
- S2. if Tlink still asks you to put the auth_key, please take a clear photo of the QR activating code and then send me. and then my engineer will activate it after scanning the code.
- Please click “About” on the Tlink app
- Choose the first option ((Wireless Carplay + Wireless Android Auto + Wired Android Auto) Then click the “refresh” to get the new QR code
- Take a photo and send it to me
- Note: the code will be invalid if the time is too long. and then our engineer will scan the QR code to activate it.
