STEP 1: How to remove the factory radio.

Check Your Factory Radio STEP 2: CAN004-X harness with Simple Soft Canbus fits the car radio. It can support factory factory SWC, factory JBL and factory backup camera.

Connect CAN004-X harness with factory harness
Note: don’t need to connect all factory connector. Some functions will lost after you removed the factory radio. But our car radio can support factory backup camera, JBL AMP, Factory USB and SWC etc.
STEP 3: You only plug these connectors first. Then turn on the car radio to test whether it can work well.

1. Connect No.1 white plug with our No.3 black Canbus box.
2. Plug the No.2 Power connector into the back of our head unit (G Port).
3. Connect No.4 8PIN white canbus connector with our No.C CANBUS Port of head unit. Don’t forget to connect Canbus port. Otherwise, the SWC, JBl can’t work.
4. Connect No.5 connector with Port F Factory connector
5. If your OEM radio doesn’t have the same plug with No.6 connector, Don’t need to connect it.
6. Connect No.7 Radio adpater with Port E factory Radio plug.
7. The No.8 and No.11 is camera connector with yellow RCA CAM VIN line. You can connect one of them with your factory Camera plug. For example, you only only connect the No.8 CAM connector with Port A factory plug. Don’t need to connect No.11 connector.
8. Connect No.9 connector with Port G factory plug.
9. Connect No.10 connector with Port C factory audio plug.
10. Connect Port J with our 4PIN USB adapter. Then plug the 4PIN USB adapter to the ViaBecs back of our head unit.
11. Don’t need to connect Port B, Port H, Port I factory connector. You can test whehter the head unit can work well first.

Model Number: SYFT721 0
Model A: 2014-2019 Toyota Highlander Compatibility with Original functionality: with JBL Amplifier, with backup camera or 360 camera, NC info, USB Cable, TPMS info.
Proper Wiring Harness: C AN004-X (No included)
Note: The No.5 & 6 port is the Camera Connector. Only connect one of them. Factry USB adapter:  STEP 4: Connect Red AUX R of power harness with the AUX R IN line of Audio cable.
Connect White AUX L of power harness with the AUX L IN line of Audio cable.
You can check the photo below. STEP 5: How to connect factory backup camera
S1: You need to connect the yellow male camera RCA of No.8 Or No.11 CAMERA Connector （CAN004-X）with the PIN10 Rear CAM VIN.
Note: It is a Nissan Wiring harness in the picture. It is as a reference. STEP 6 : How to Choose the options for Canbus
S1: connect the head unit with your Phone hotspot or wifi first.
Press Car Settings — Factory — Select Models — password is 123456 — Model choose.
S2: Choose CanBox Brand: Simple Soft — Toyota– Models: All New Highlander — Config:
Public — Logo：Toyota
Finally, press ok to save the settings. Then the head unit will update it automatically.

1. Device Ports 2.1 How to connect aftermarket backup camera 2.2 Set Camera Format
Problem: Why my backup camera image is black when I put the car in reverse?
Please confirm the resolution of your camera first.

1. If your camera is not HD, please choose normal — SD — NTSC/PAL.
2. if your camera is HD version, please choose the normal — HD — AHD 720P/25fps, or AHD 1080P/25fps.

Then test the camera again after you change the camera format.

Please click Theme app — Setting — Plugin –Speed Unit
You can change to KPH to MPH Q4: How do i update the ViaBecs TS10 software?
You can update the system and MCU online.
Please connect your home wifi first and then open the car setting app — about — Detection Update.

S1. You need to connect wifi to activate Tlink when you use it at the first.
How to find the wifi.
Please drop down Quick Setting Menu.
And then a long-press wifi icon to turn on it. and then you can try to connect your phone hotspot first.
Note: Please clear the Tlink usage record first.
S2: you can change the Time Zone manually.
Please car setting app — Android Setting — go to setting > system > date & time. you can turn off the option of “Automatic Time Zone” first.
Then change the time zone manually.

S3. if Tlink still asks you to put the auth_key, please take a clear photo of the QR activating code and then send me. and then my engineer will activate it after scanning the code.

1. Please click “About” on the Tlink app
2. Choose the first option (Wireless Carplay + wired Carplay + Android Auto) Then click the “refresh” to get the new QR code
3. Take a photo and send it to me

Note: the code will be invalid if the time is too long. and then our engineer will scan the QR code to activate it.
