Check Your Factory Radio

OEM Radio type A: Honda Civic 2006-2011
This radio is wihout factory Amplifier and factory Backup camera. The XC018 harness can support it.
Note: you have to bypass the factory amp on the premium audio systems

OEM Radio type B: Honda Civic 2010-2011
The civic car radio is with large screen.
A customer has the same radio. Then we sent him a CAN020-R harness to test.
The harness can support this factory radio.

CANBUS Option:
Please open Car Settings app — Factory Setting — password is 8888 — Protocol setting — Raise — Honda
Please choose the canbus option of Honda 2012 CRV / 2015 CRV 2.0L / Civic Or Honda 2015 CRV 2.4L (No Right) to test.

OEM Radio type C: Honda Civic 2007-2009
The civic car radio also is with large screen.But we don’t have proper harness to connect it.Don’t fit this type of OEM radio.

3.2 How to connect aftermarket backup camera.

REAR CAMERA AND SIM CARD CONNECTION METHOD

Note: Connection of the yellow line will not be needed if you already have a canbus box and the reverse control line (G5area) has been connected to the canbus box.

1. Rear Camera
2. Connect to 12V Reverse Light Power Supply
3. Connect Red Socket to Rear Camera
4. Connect GND to Car Ground
5. Rear Camera Control Connect to G5
6. ACC Connect to G3 ACC

3.3 Set Camera Format

1. For the reverse camera, you can change the setting of the camera format.
   Please confirm the resolution of your camera first.
2. If your camera is not HD, please choose normal — SD — NTSC/PAL.
3. if your camera is HD version, please choose the normal — HD — AHD 720P/25fps, or AHD 1080P/25fps.
   Please click Car setting > factory setting > password is 8888 > reverse camera setting.
   you can change the camera setting and then test the camera again.

Q2: How to change the KPH to MPH?
it can press KPH to change to MPH after you update the system.

Q4: Why my backup camera image is black when I put the car in reverse?

If the camera image displays black, you need to change the setting of the camera format.
Please confirm the resolution of your camera first.

1. If your camera is not HD, please choose “normal”, “SD”, “NTSC/PAL”.
2. if your camera is HD version, please choose the “normal”, “HD”, “720P or 1080P”.
   Please click Car setting > factory setting > password is 8888 > reverse camera setting.
   you can change the camera setting and then test the camera again.

Q5: How to connect wireless apple carplay?

S1. You need to connect wifi to activate Zlink when you use it at the first.

1 How to find the wifi.

Please drop down Quick Setting Menu.
And then a long-press wifi icon to turn on it.
and then you can try to connect your phone hotspot first.
Note: Please clear the Zlink usage record first.

2 How to connect Wireless and wired apple Carplay.

How to enable Apple Wireless CarPlay for iPhone via Zlink application.
1. Connect radio and iPhone via Bluetooth.
2. Enable CarPlay for the radio on the iPhone. Settings> swipe down for search for CarPlay.
3. Open the Zlink app. It will connect the car play automatically.

you also can connect the radio with your iPhone with a USB charge cable. and then turn on the Zlink app to get apple car play or Android Auto.

Q6: How to activate Zlink for Apple car play & Android Auto?

S1. You need to connect wifi to activate Zlink when you use it at the first.
How to find the wifi.
Please drop down Quick Setting Menu.
And then a long-press wifi icon to turn on it.
and then you can try to connect your phone hotspot first.
Note: Please clear the Zlink usage record first.

S2: you can change the Time Zone manually.
Please car setting app — Android Setting — go to setting > system > date & time.
you can turn off the option of “Automatic Time Zone” first.
Then change the time zone manually.

S3. if Zlink still asks you to put the auth_key, please take a clear photo of the QR activating code and then send me.
and then my engineer will activate it after scanning the code.

1. Please click “About” on the Zlink app
2. Choose the first option (Wireless Carplay + wired Carplay + Android Auto)
   Then click the “refresh” to get the new QR code
3. Take a photo and send it to me
   Note: the code will be invalid if the time is too long.
   and then our engineer will scan the QR code to activate it.
