SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance. Keep this
instruction manual for future reference or new users.
- Make sure that the main voltage matches the voltage stated on the rating label of the appliance and that the wall of the outlet is grounded.
- This device is intended for household use only. Do not use it for industrial or commercial purposes.
- Do not immerse the cord, plug, or any non-removable part of the appliance in water or any other liquid, nor expose electrical water connections. Make sure your hands are completely dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.
- Check the power cord regularly for visible damage. If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec to avoid any type of danger.
- Ensure that the air inlets and outlets are not blocked. If they are blocked, the device will activate the overheating protection system.
- Turn off and unplug the device from the power supply immediately after use. In case it is used in a bathroom, make sure to unplug it immediately after use to prevent it from getting wet.
- WARNING: Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, sinks or other vessels containing water.
- Do not use the diffuser with maximum temperature for long periods.
- Do not introduce metallic objects to children under the age of 8.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by unsupervised children.
- Supervise young children to make sure that they do not play with the appliance. Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is being used by or near children.

BEFORE USE
- Take the product out of the box.
- Remove all packaging material. Save the original box.
- Make sure all parts and components are included and in good condition. If any visible signs of damage are observed, contact the Cecotec official Technical Support Service immediately.
OPERATION
This hair dryer releases ions, which protect hair, and skin and seal cuticles for total care of your hair during use.

Wash and condition your hair.

Dry it with a towel and comb it.

Assemble the concentrator onto the hair dryer’s front part.

Plug the device into a power supply.

Use the speed and temperature selector to set the desired settings.

Cool shot function -
This function is activated by pressing the cool shot button once. The hair dryer will start producing cool air. Hold down the button for the time you want to use the function and release it when you have finished.

Once you have finished using the device, switch it off and unplug it from the power supply.

Allow it to completely cool down before cleaning or storing it.
Warning
If the product suffers overheating, it will automatically turn off. In this
case, unplug it from the power supply and allow it to cool down for a few
minutes. Before turning it back on, make sure there are no fluffs, hair or
other objects blocking the grid or air inlet.
Folding function
This hair dryer features a folding function. Fold the hair dryer pushing the
handle inwards and transport it or store it easily. Fig. 3
Tips
To increase natural hair volume or enhance curls, keep the device in an
upright position as you use it. Fig. 4
Warning
Hairspray contains inflammable substances. Do not use it while using the
device.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Turn off and unplug the product from the power supply before cleaning or repairing it.
- Use a soft damp cloth with some water to clean the product’s surface.
- Dry thoroughly the device with tissue paper after cleaning it.
- Clean the dust and hair that may block the grille, air inlet or outlet periodically. Fig. 5
- Do not immerse the appliance in water and do not expose it to water while cleaning it.

DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES
The European Directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE) specifies that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed
of with the normal unsorted municipal waste. Old appliances must be collected
separately, to optimise the recovery and recycling of the materials they
contain and reduce the impact on human health and the environment. The
crossed-out “wheeled bin” symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation
to dispose of the appliance correctly. Consumers must contact their local
authorities or retailers for information concerning the correct disposal of
old appliances and/or their batteries.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND WARRANTY
This product is under warranty for 2 years from the date of purchase, as long
as the proof of purchase is submitted, the product is in perfect physical
condition, and it has been given proper use, as explained in this instruction
manual. The warranty will not cover the following situations:
- The product has been used for purposes other than those intended for it, misused, beaten, exposed to moisture, immersed in liquid or corrosive substances, as well as any other fault attributable to the customer.
- The product has been disassembled, modified, or repaired by persons, not authorised by the Cecotec official Technical Support Service.
- Faults deriving from the normal wear and tear of its parts, due to use.
The warranty service covers every manufacturing defect of your appliance for 2 years, based on current legislation, except consumable parts. In the event of misuse, the warranty will not apply.
