Assembly Instructions
Step 1 – Preparing for installation
- Disconnect electrical power at the fuse or circuit breaker box before installing or servicing any part of this fixture.
- Carefully remove the fixture and hardware kit from the carton.
- Remove components from the hardware kit.
- Remove mounting bracket (1) from the fixture (3) by removing four side screws (4).
- Install mounting bracket (1) to junction box (not included) using two screws (2) to secure it.
- For additional support, mark appropriate mounting locations using the slots on the mounting bracket (1) as guide. Take the mounting bracket (1) down and punch a small hole in the wall at each of the locations you have marked using a nail or an awl to see if there is a wall stud. Where there is a wall stud, use a wood screw (6) to mount the bracket. Where there is no stud to screw into, drill a larger hole for a wall anchor (5) then re-install mounting bracket using previous hardware to secure it.
Wiring – All wiring must take place inside junction box (not included)
Caution: Make sure power is off at fuse or circuit breaker box. Check
power wires for damage or scrapes. If power supply wires are within three
inches of the LED driver, use wire suitable for at least 90°C (194°F). Note:
Most dwellings built before 1985 have supply wire rated to 60°C. Consult a
qualified electrician to ensure correct branch circuit conductor before
installing.
Step 2 – Wiring fixture
- Make all wire connections to appropriate wire. Secure with wire nuts (provided).
- Connect the green wire from the fixture to the supply power source ground wire.
- Connect the white wire from the fixture to the white (N) wire from the supply power source.
- Connect the black wire from the fixture to the black (L) wire from the supply power source.
- Do not mix wires. Pull on each wire lead to make sure connections are secure. Make certain no bare wires are exposed outside of wire connectors. Tuck all connections neatly into the junction box.
Step 3 – Mounting fixture
A. Install the fixture (3) to the mounting bracket (1) using four screws (4)
to secure it.
Step 4 – Color Changing Temperature Adjustment, CCT (if desired)
A. Adjust CCT switch to desired temperature of 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, or
5000K as seen below. Note: Fixture is preset to 3000K from factory.
Step 5 – Restore power at fuse or circuit breaker box
Step 6 – Operation (Figure 2)
- The right pull switch operates the uplight and downlight by pulling on the chain once to turn on the uplight, pull twice to turn on the downlight, third pull to turn on both uplight and downlight, and fourth pull to turn both lights off.
- The left pull switch operates the night light by single pull to turn night light on and pull twice to turn off.
