Assembly Instructions

Step 1:

  • Ensure that you have all of the correct parts as listed in the package contents.

Step 2:

  • Stand the left-hand end panel upright on a flat, level surface.

Step 3:

  • Using the shorter green screws, attach the batten on the back panel to the post of the end panel, ensuring vertical alignment.

Step 4:

  • Align one of the longer posts with the other end of the back panel and attach using shorter green screws.

Step 5:

  • Rearrange the spacer blocks and attach the next panel following the alignment.

Step 6:

  • Slide the base into position ensuring alignment with the center post and central cross member.

Step 7:

  • Attach the base to the end panel front post first and then secure the rear post using 75mm screws.

Step 8:

  • Attach the base to the rear posts using more than 75mm screws.

Step 9:

  • Slide the remaining end panel into place and attach it to the frame with longer green screws.

Step 10

  • Carefully place the roof on top of the tool store and attach it to each end panel post with short green screws.

INSTALLATION STEP

  1. Step 1
    • Ensure that you have all of the correct parts as listed on the front page of these instructions, including any fixings.
  2. Step 2
    • Stand the left-hand end panel (or right-hand for the reversed roof version) upright on a flat, level surface.RUTLAND-COUNTY-MATS6-Hambleton-Tool-Log-Store-FIG-2
  3. Step 3
    • Arrange the 2 spacer blocks on the ground, adjacent to the end panel as shown in the photo above. Now place a back panel on the blocks, at 90° to the end panel, aligning the 2 panels ready for fixing.
  4. Step 4
    • Using the shorter green screws provided, attach the batten on the back panel to the post of the end panel, ensuring that the batten remains vertically aligned to the post.RUTLAND-COUNTY-MATS6-Hambleton-Tool-Log-Store-FIG-3
  5. Step 5
    • Align one of the longer posts (shorter for a reversed roof) with the other end of the back panel.
  6. Step 6
    • Attach the panel to the post by screwing through the batten using shorter green screws as before.RUTLAND-COUNTY-MATS6-Hambleton-Tool-Log-Store-FIG-4
  7. Step 7
    • Rearrange the spacer blocks and offer up the next panel, aligning and attaching it as before.
  8. Step 8
    • Remove the blocks from beneath the 2nd panel and then slide the base into position as shown, ensuring that the center post and the central cross member are aligned centrally.RUTLAND-COUNTY-MATS6-Hambleton-Tool-Log-Store-FIG-5
  9. Step 9
    • Attach the base to the end panel front post first, using 2 of the 75mm screws, and then secure the rear post in the same way.
  10. Step 10

  11. Step 11
    • Slide the remaining end panel into place as shown above and attach it to the frame as you did with the first end panel with longer green screws into the front and rear posts.
    • If you are fitting a kindling shelf, omit steps 12 -14 and attach the front posts before fitting the kindling shelf & lattice and then attaching the roof.
  12. Step 12

  13. Step 13
    • Check that the batten ends sit flush with the posts as shown. Now attach the roof to each end panel post with short green screws.
  14. Step 14

  15. Step 15
    • Locate the pencil guide marks on the front face of the base. This is where the center posts will be fitted.

    • Check the positioning of the post within the guide marks once again before securing the bottom of the center post with 2 of the longer green screwsRUTLAND-COUNTY-MATS6-Hambleton-Tool-Log-Store-FIG-9
  17. Step 17
    • With the center post now attached to the base, locate the top of the post between the central roof battens, flush with the batten ends, and secure in place with 2 of the 65mm screws.

    • Establish which side your door is to be fitted on and fit the lattice into place by holding it with the slats in a vertical position, sliding it into the store until you have enough clearance to move it to the horizontal position, and then lowering it into the base as shown.RUTLAND-COUNTY-MATS6-Hambleton-Tool-Log-Store-FIG-10
  19. Step 19
    • Place a spacer block at the front of the store adjacent to the front end post and rest the hinge side of the appropriate door on the block, aligning it vertically and horizontally for a good fit.
    • Now use four of the supplied black hinge screws to affix the hinge to the post.
  20. Step 20

  21. Step 21
    • Secure the top hinge in place using more of the black hinge screws. Repeat steps 19 – 21 for any further doors as required.

    • by standing it in position and using the 65mm screws, fix it to the rear post. The dividing panel needs to be a tight fit but if too snug then release the front centre post at the roof point…
  24. Step 24

  25. Step 21
    • The tool store section of the store is now complete and ready for the final stage.
  26. Step 22
