Checklist Before Using the Device
Before using the device, ensure that your Wi-Fi router is functioning properly and the device is within the range of the Wi-Fi signal.

How to Set Up

1. Download and install the Gosund app from Google Play Store or APP Store on your mobile device.
2. Register an account using your mobile number or email and verify it with the received authentication code.
3. Connect your mobile device to your home Wi-Fi network.

Pairing the Device

1. Bluetooth Mode: Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device, follow the app instructions to connect to the sensor.
2. Blink Quickly: Select the sensor type, enter Wi-Fi password, and ensure LED indicator blinks rapidly for successful connection.
3. Blink Slowly: Choose this option if LED is not blinking rapidly, follow on-screen instructions for connection.

Installation
The door sensor can be installed on doors, windows, or any object that opens and closes. Follow these steps:

1. Clean the mounting area with a dry towel.
2. Peel off the adhesive tapes and firmly press the sensor in place.
3. Position the magnet on the side with the alignment mark, ensuring the distance between sensor and magnet is less than 10mm.

• Q: What type of batteries should I use as replacements?
  A: When replacing batteries, always use 2 x AAA Alkaline batteries instead of Carbon-zinc batteries for optimal performance.

How to Use

Slide to open the back cover of the battery compartment, install 2 x AAA Alkaline batteries in the correct orientation, the indicator will blink.

Note: When the batteries are depleted, please use Alkaline batteries as replacements instead of Carbon-zinc batteries.

Checklist Before Using the Device

• Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
• Verify that you have the correct Wi-Fi password.
• Your smartphone or tablet must be running Android 4.0+ or iOS 8.0+.
• If the router is at its limit for connected devices, try disabling a device to free up a channel or consider using another router.

How to Set Up

1. Use your phone to scan the QR code or search for “Gosund” app in Google Play Store or APP Store to download and install it.
2. Register an account with your mobile number or email and enter the received authentication code.
3. Connect your mobile device to your Wi-Fi router at home, click “+” at the upper right corner of the homepage or click “Add Device”.

Pairing the Device

1. Bluetooth Mode: The app will advise you to enable Bluetooth on your mobile device, then it will search for the sensor. Once found, enter your Wi-Fi credentials, and it will connect automatically.
2. Blink Quickly: Select “Contact Sensor (Wi-Fi)” from the “Sensors” list, enter the Wi-Fi password, and select “Blink Quickly”. Ensure the LED indicator blinks rapidly. If it doesn’t, press and hold the reset button for about 5 seconds until the indicator blinks rapidly, indicating a successful connection.
3. Blink Slowly: Alternatively, select “Blink Slowly” if the LED is not blinking rapidly. If necessary, press and hold the reset button to make the LED blink slowly. Connect your mobile device to the sensor’s hotspot “SmartLife-XXXX”, and return to the app interface to complete the configuration.

Installation

The door sensor can be installed on doors, windows, and any other objects that open and close. Before installation, test whether the sensor operates correctly and ensure the sensor and magnet are spaced correctly to function.

Mounting Options

1. Clean the area where you want to mount the sensor with a dry towel. Peel off the adhesive tapes and press firmly to fix the sensor in place. The adhesive tapes are for one-time use only.
2. Alternatively, you can secure the sensor with the provided screws. Note : The magnet must be positioned on the side of the sensor with the alignment mark, and the distance between the sensor and magnet should be less than 10mm.

FAQ

• Q: Why can’t I receive notifications or hear the alarm on the app?
  • Ensure that notifications are enabled in your mobile phone’s settings.
  • Verify that the alarm function is activated within the app.
• Q: Why is the notification delayed?
  • Check that your Wi-Fi network is stable. Notifications typically arrive within 5 – 10 seconds; a weak Wi-Fi signal may cause delays.
• Q: Why doesn’t the sensor work?
  • Confirm that the sensor’s battery isn’t low.
  • Ensure that the magnet is positioned on the side of the sensor aligning with the middle line.
  • The distance between the sensor and magnet should be less than 10mm when the door is closed.
  • The Magnetic Reed Switch inside may be damaged due to user actions or during transportation.

Warranty Conditions

A new product purchased in the Alza.cz sales network is guaranteed for 2 years. If you need repair or other services during the warranty period, contact the product seller directly, you must provide the original proof of purchase with the date of purchase.

• Exposure to adverse external influences, such as sunlight and other radiation or electromagnetic fields, fluid intrusion, object intrusion, mains overvoltage, electrostatic discharge voltage (including lightning), faulty supply or input voltage and inappropriate polarity of this voltage, chemical processes such as used power supplies, etc.
• If anyone has made modifications, modifications, alterations to the design or adaptation to change or extend the functions of the product compared to the purchased design or use of non-original components.
