Features

1. Alarm Alert: The sensor promptly detects the presence of individuals or animals within its range and triggers an alarm. This alert serves as an immediate deterrent for unwanted visitors and informs you of any activity in the monitored area.

Checklist Before Using the Device

1. Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
2. Input the correct Wi-Fi password.
3. Your smartphone must be running at least Android 4.4 or iOS 8.0.
4. If the number of devices connected to the router reaches its limit, try to disable a device to free up the channel or attempt connection with another Wi- Fi router.

How to Use

Open the back cover of the battery compartment, install 2 AA batteries correctly, or connect the supplied micro USB charging cable to a USB power source.

How to Set Up

1. Use your smartphone to scan the QR code, or search for the “Gosund” app in Google Play or the App Store to download and install.

2. Create an account using your mobile number and authentication code.
3. Connect your mobile to your Wi-Fi router, click the “+” at the top right corner of the homepage, then select “ Add Device “.

Device Setup Modes

1. Bluetooth Mode: Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone, enter the Wi-Fi name and password. The app will search for nearby devices and connect to the motion sensor automatically.

2. Quick Blink Mode: From the “ Sensors ” menu, select “Motion Detector (Wi-Fi)”, ensure the LED light blinks rapidly. If it doesn’t, hold the reset button for about 5 seconds until it does.

3. Slow Blink Mode: Alternatively, choose “Blink Slowly” and ensure the LED blinks slowly.

If not, reset the device. Then connect your mobile to the device’s hotspot named “ SmartLife-XXXX “, and return to the app to complete configuration.

After Network Configuration

Mount the sensor wherever monitoring is desired. It can be placed on a flat surface or secured to a wall with the provided adhesive tape or screws.

Notes

1. The motion sensor may be less effective near heat or light sources and may struggle with detecting infrared radiation from the human body if obstructed.
2. RF radiation can also reduce the sensitivity of the sensor, especially when the environmental temperature is close to that of the human body.

• Exposure to adverse external influences, such as sunlight and other radiation or electromagnetic fields, fluid intrusion, object intrusion, mains overvoltage, electrostatic discharge voltage (including lightning), faulty supply or input voltage and inappropriate polarity of this voltage, chemical processes such as used power supplies, etc.
•  If anyone has made modifications, modifications, alterations to the design or adaptation to change or extend the functions of the product compared to the purchased design or use of non-original components.

Q: What should I do if the sensor is not detecting motion properly?

A: Ensure there are no obstructions blocking the sensor’s view and that it is placed in an area with adequate lighting and away from heat sources.
