Installation
-
Use a grounding wire to ground the unit by connecting one end to the grounding terminal and the other end to a suitable grounded object.
Note: Do not omit this step. Proper grounding helps prevent damage to the unit from power surges or static electricity. -
Connect the power cord to the unit’s power socket.

Connect a CCKM server to the unit’s 10/100/1000M RJ-45 port (ES0154) /10/100/1000M RJ-45 PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at) port (ES0154P).

Connect up to 47 KE series extenders to the unit’s 10/100/1000M RJ-45 ports (ES0154) / 10/100/1000M RJ-45 PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at) ports (ES0154P).
Operation
Setting Up the IP Address of CCKM Server

From the CCKM server web GUI, go to Network and Sharing Center > Change Adapter Settings.

Right-click on your Local Area Connection and select Properties.

In the Local Area Connection Properties window, highlight Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click Properties.

Select Use the Following IP Address and enter the IP of the CCKM server (e.g., any IP address not in use, and in between 192.168.0.2 and 192.168.0.253)*, Subnet Mask (e.g., 255.255.255.0), and Default Gateway that corresponds with your network setup.
Note: Make sure the CCKM server’s IP address is not duplicated to prevent IP address conflict. -
Click OK to change the CCKM server’s IP address.
To connect to the CCKM server via web browser, enter the IP address and port number (default: 8443) of the CCKM server. For example, if the IP address is 192.168.0.10, enter https://192.168.0.10:8443.
