Product Usage Instructions

909 Surface Mount Instructions

  1. Remove the decorative bezel around the switch.
  2. Optional: To convert the momentary switch provided to maintained switch mode, carefully remove the spring located under the rocker switch with a small screwdriver or pliers.
  3. Mount the switch base in the desired location.
  4. Connect wires under appropriate terminals (refer to Fig. 1).
  5. Replace decorative bezel.

909 Flush Mount Instructions

  1. Pry off the decorative bezel around switch and remove toggle.
  2. Cut a 2-1/4 x 1-1/4 hole in the drywall.
  3. Connect wires under appropriate terminals (refer to Fig. 2).
  4. Insert the switch into hole. Tighten the two metal slot screws until the switch is secure.
  5. Replace the toggle and decorative bezel.

  • Q: Can the surface-mounted switches be converted to Maintained Switch Mode?

SURFACE MOUNT INSTRUCTIONS

  2. Mount switch base in desired location.
  3. Connect wires under appropriate terminals (Fig. 1).
  4. Replace decorative bezel.

FLUSH MOUNT INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Pry off the decorative bezel around switch and remove toggle.
  2. Cut a 2-1/4” x 1-1/4” hole in the drywall.
  3. Connect wires under appropriate terminals (Fig. 2).
  4. Insert switch into hole. Tighten the two metal slot screws, until switch is secure.
  5. Replace toggle and decorative bezel
