BougeRV Portable Car Freezer

Attention:

Please read this manual carefully before using your unit.

1. Before use for the first time, clean the inside and outside of the car refrigerator with a damp cloth.
2. Please clean the inner cavity regularly to prevent odor and bacteria ensuring food safety.
3. If not used for a long time, please disconnect the power supply and keep the inside of the car refrigerator dry.

Connect the power supply

1. Find the DC power cord in the kit. Connect the DC plug to the power outlet of the car refrigerator.
2. Car refrigerators are placed in the car (back-up, seats…).
3. Arrange the power cable according to the space inside the car. The cigarette lighter plug is connected to the car cigarette lighter.
4. Press and hold the “ON /OFF” button for 3 seconds and the car refrigerator will be ready for use.

Safety Attentions：

1. Make sure that the power voltage connected to the car refrigerator is correct at any time (Refer to the parameter labels on car refrigerator).
2. Do not fill in corrosive liquids. Do not pour the liquid directly into the car refrigerator.
3. Do not place the unit under direct sunlight.
4. Refrigerator could not be exposed to the rain.
5. This product is not intended to be used by children. Do not allow children to crawl around this product.

Car Refrigerator Operation

Car battery protection voltage reference Built-in ECO electronic control module can automatically monitor the car battery voltage. Before power consumption affects the normal ignition of the car, car refrigerator will automatically disconnect power, to ensure that the car battery power will not be consumed too low and affect the normal ignition of the car.

Note: When the car refrigerator connects to the power and starts, ON or OFF refers to the ON or OFF of the compressor

• Temperature Adjustment Settings
• Touch the LCD smart screen to adjust and cool the internal temperature of the car refrigerator.
• Operation Method

1. Press and hold the {On/Off} key for 3 seconds to turn on/standby the refrigerator.
2. Touch the {+ or -} key to adjust the temperature.
3. Press the {+ or -} key for a long time. The preset temperature is linearly adjusted with a speed of 4°C. During the adjustment, the number does not flicker.
4. Within 3 seconds after the operation panel has not detected any key operation, the temperature display will stop flashing, exit the temperature setting, and save the currently set temperature.
5. The temperature display shows the actual temperature inside the box.
6. In the standby mode, only the temperature display is off, the other buttons are on.
7.  In working status, press {SET} key to perform MAX/ECO switching.
8. Temperature adjustment function can be adjusted between -0.4℉~50℉（-18 °C ~ +10 °C.
9. Temperature conversion: Press [+] and [-] 3 seconds at the same time Celsius (°C) \ Fahrenheit (°F) temperature switch.
10.  Power protection mode: high, medium, low three levels to protect the car battery. We suggest to set high level of the fridge when connect with car battery. To set medium and low level when with other battery.

The car refrigerator has a power-off memory function. The working state (power on/off state and working mode) before the power off is automatically restored after the next power on, and there is no need to set it again.
ECO (Green light): Energy Saving and Cooling Mode
MAX(white light): Strong Cooling Mode

Operation Suggestion

If you have a spare battery, you can hold any temperature you set in any situation without any worries.
To solve healthy drinking water problem caused by the hot temperature.
Tea in the car refrigerator has been effective preservation. During self- driving tour, you can drink fresh and delicious tea at any time.
During the summer heat , if you put your precious fruit in the car, the preservation time of which will not exceed 2 hours. Even if the air conditioning is turned on, storage time is still short. But with a car refrigerator, the precious fruit can be effectively preserved.
When putting ice cream in refrigerator, its power should be connected and it should be set to the lowest temperature.

The ideal storage temperature for red wine is 50℉~64℉（10 °C ~ 18 °C）, the precise temperature control of the car refrigerator can effectively guarantee the storage temperature for red wine.

Troubles and troubleshooting

Advice: If an abnormal situation cannot be resolved through simple fault analysis, please contact professional customer service for assistance.

The car refrigerator does not work

1. Check whether if the power is connected correctly or not. (If the plug is loose, positive and negative poles are reversed).
2. Check whether the power switch on the operation panel is turned on.
3. Check the cooling ventilation is normal.
4. Check whether if the fuse is blown or not.

Not cooling sufficiently

1. The door may not have been closed properly.
2. The door seal is damaged or deformed.
3. The poor heat dissipation of car refrigerator.
4. Improper temperature settings.

Abnormal noise

1. The place of car refrigerator is not stable.
2. Hit the wall or other items.
3. Internal parts loose or fall off.

• The refrigerator surface condensation When the ambient air humidity> 75%, the surface of the box will normally have slight condensation.
• The definition of the error code on the display

car cigar lighter when it doesn’t start. Solution: to connect the refrigerator later after the car starts.

②Condition two: the input voltage of the adapter is too low. Solution: to adjust the battery protection level to middle or low level. If fridge still no start properly, pls use a new adapter.

E2| Fan Problem| Please replace a new fan when you confirm the fan malfunction.
E3| Compressor Start up frequently Input voltage fault.| ①Condition one: E3 appears when use fridge in car, pls shutdown fridge 5 minutes and after that, it can work normally. If it still not works after restart, it is E1 fault, with reference to E1 Fault troubleshooting and solution.

②Condition two: E3 appears when use fridge at home, to adjust battery protection level to middle or low level. If it still no works properly, pls use a new adapter.

E4| Compressor turbine speed too

low.

| Compressor turbine speed too low. The input voltage needs to be adjusted and reconnect the power.
E5| Controller chip overheating| Controller chip overheating. It needs to shutdown the power of fridge for 5 minutes. After hat, to check whether if it is an overheating caused by the blockage around the vent of the

compressor.

Er1| NTC opening or short circuit|

Cleaning & Maintenance

• Cleaning:

1. Please disconnect the power before cleaning the fridge/freezer.
2. Bicarbonate (baking soda) dissolved in lukewarm water to clean the unit. Never use abrasive products, detergents or soap.
3. After cleaning, wipe out interior with a clean damp cloth and dry carefully.
4. Do not store the unit if it is wet inside or without leaving the lid open.
5. Never clean the unit under running water or in dish water.
6. Clean all vents with compressed air or vacuum cleaner.

Defrosting:

1. Periodically ice may form on the inside of your fridge. This will reduce its capacity and cooling efficiency. Defrosting your fridge regularly will keep the fridge/freezer at peak operating condition.
2. Remove all contents and removable basket.
3. Disconnect fridge/freezer from power supply.
4. Open lid to allow interior compartment to warm up to ambient air temperature.
5. As ice melts, soak up water with a clean towel.
6. Once all ice has melted, clean interior.

CAUTION:

DO NOT use hard, sharp or pointed objects to defrost the fridge/freezer or loosen items that have become frozen in place. Irreparable damage to cooling system can occur
