Product Usage Instructions

Charging
When the drone shows a low battery warning, it needs to be charged as follows:

  1. Connect the USB cable to a power supply. The USB LED will turn solid green, indicating power on.
  2. Connect the battery to the USB cable. The USB LED will turn solid red, indicating charging status. When the LED turns solid green, charging is complete.
  3. Make sure the connected USB adapter is less than or equal to 5V 2A to avoid overloading the cable.

Installation

Battery Installing:

  1. Insert the battery into the specified position on the drone.
  2. To remove the battery, press the buckle of the drone and pull it back.

Phone Clamp Installing:
Put the phone clamp in the specified position on the remote controller and ensure it is securely fastened.

Ready to Fly

  1. Switch on the power of the drone and remote.
  2. Pairing: Power on the drone and remote, then push the Left Joystick up and down for successful pairing.
  3. Gyroscope Calibration: Follow the instructions to calibrate the gyroscope.
  4. Activate motors for taking off by pushing the joysticks to specific corners.

Using the Remote Controller

  • Left Stick: Control up/down and forward/backward movement.
  • Right Stick: Control altitude and left/right turning.

Take off/Landing:

  • Take off: Press the Left function switch or push up the Left Joystick slowly.
  • Landing: Press the Left function switch or push down the Left Joystick slowly.

Emergency Stop:
In case of emergency, long press the Left function switch for about 3 seconds to stop all functions and land the drone.

Charging

Low battery warning
When the drone is flying, the indicator lights on the drone are flashing, and the remote control handle emits a “beep” alarm sound, indicating that the drone power is too low. At this time, the drone needs to be returned and charged.

Charging Guide for battery

  1. Connect the USB cable with the power supply, the USB LED solid Green, indicates the USB cable is powered on.
  2. Connect the battery with a USB cable. When the USB LED solid Red indicates charging status. USB LED solid Green when charging was completed.

Note:
The connected USB Adapter should be less than or equal to 5V 2A, and the voltage not be greater than 5V, otherwise, there is a risk of overloading the USB cable. The flight time is approx 7 minutes (Battery full charge state) and the charging time is about 60 minutes.

Install

  1. Battery Installing

  2. Insert the battery into a specified position.

  3. Keep pressing the buckle of the drone then pull the battery back to take it out. Remote Controller:
    Keep pressing the buckle of the battery case then pull the case to take it out, and insert the 3xAAA battery into the specified position.

Ready to Fly

  1. Switch On the Power

  2. First power on the drone(Keep pressing for 2-sec and place it on a flat ground or surface.)

  3. Power on the Remote

  4. Pairing
    After Powered On the drone, both indicator lights on the Drone and Remote flash, then push the Left Joystick to the top, and then down to the lowest (Pic 1). After 2 secs, the indicator lights are turning solid, which means the pairing succeeds.

  5. Gyroscope Calibration
    Push the Left Joystick to the right corner and the Right Joystick to the left corner in the meantime (Pic 2). The indicator lights of the drone are flashing rapidly for about 3 seconds. The indicator is turning solid when completed.

  6. Activate motors for taking off
    After pairing, push the Left Joystick to the top then release it to activate the motors, and then the propellers start rotating.

  7. Take off/Landing

    • Take off: After activating the motors, press the “Left function switch” (or push up the Left Joystick slowly) to take off.
    • Landing: When the drone is in the air, press the “Left function switch” (or keep pushing down the Left Joystick slowly) to land.

Emergency Stop
In case of emergency status, keep a long press “Left function switch” for about 3 seconds, the drone will immediately stop functions and drop off.

Aircraft Functions

Adjustment for deviated flying to Front/Backward

  • Vertically press the Left Joystick to activate the adjustment function.
  • If it leans front, push the Right Joystick backward.
  • If it leans backward, push the Right Joystick forward.

Vertically press the Left Joystick again to deactivate the adjustment function, after finishing the adjustment.

Adjustment for deviated flying to Sideward

  • Vertically press the Left Joystick to activate the adjustment function.
  • If it leans right sideward, push the Right Joystick to the left side.
  • If it leans left sideward, push the Right Joystick to the ight side.

Vertically press the Left Joystick again to deactivate the adjustment function, after finishing the adjustment.

360° Stunt Function

  1. Press the 360° Stunt
  2. Push the stick to the right, the drone will rotate 360° toward the right direction

Note:

  • There are continuous beeps from the remote when you activate this function.
  • If you do not move the Right Joystick about 5 seconds after you press the 360° Stunt switch, the function will be cancelled and the remote will stop beeping.
  • This function can’t be activated when the battery of the drone is low.

Speed Adjustment
Press the speed switch to change the speed gear while flying. There are 3 gears, press the Speed switch, and you will hear “beep, beep”, which means it is on the second gear speed. Press again, and you will hear “beep, beep, beep” means it is on the third gear speed. Press again, and you will hear a “beep” means it is back to first gear.

Remark:
Beginners would be suggested to use the first gear speed first to play until skilful.

Functions

Throw-to-fly function

  • After pairing and calibration are completed, you can hold the aircraft in your hand, and then horizontally throw it out. The aircraft will automatically activate the propellers and fly in the air.
  • Note: It is better to operate the calibration step again after operating Throw to fly several times.
  • The function will be more stable.

Return-to-home function
In regular mode, when the drone flies forward, stand and make sure the remote is toward the tail of the drone then press the “Right function switch” to activate the headless mode, no matter which direction the drone is heading, keep pressing the “Right function switch” about 3 seconds, the drone would fly straight back to a remote location.

Note:

  1. The drone will not land itself when operating this function, just flies straight toward the remote direction, negative direction operates the right stick to stop flying.
  2. If you change your position while playing, the Return-to-home function will be inaccurate. Now turn the drone’s tail toward the remote, then press the “Right function switch” to activate the headless mode, and keep pressing the “Right function switch” for about 3 seconds, then It will come back successfully. Or you can also face the drone’s tail and calibrate the gyroscope after it lands. Such an operation is to update the drone’s return direction.

Headless Mode Function

  • Press the “Right function switch” when the indicator lights slowly flash, which means it is in Headless Mode.
  • Press the “Right function switch” again, when the indicator lights stop flashing, which means that the Headless Mode is deactivated.

  • Users are recommended to stay in the same orientation as the drone head is facing when the drone takes off.
  • In headless Mode, the forward direction is the same as the direction when the drone took off, where the head of the drone was facing.
  • To make sure the users can identify the drone’s direction, we suggest that users better stay in the same orientation as the drone facing when it takes off. Then no matter which direction the head is facing, the drone will lock the controlled direction as the remote controller, easy to control back the drone.

Battery Using Attention

Matters needing attention

  1. Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before being charged.
  2. Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
  3. Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
  4. Only used to charge 2S Li-ion or Li-polymer battery packs. if not, the charger or battery may be damaged.
  5. During charging, the charger should be put in a dry and ventilated place and far away from the heat sources and inflammable and explosive substances.
  6. Never immediately charge your battery pack as soon as the flight is finished, or when its temperature doesn’t cool down. Otherwise, the battery will take the risk of swelling, even a fire.
  7. Ensure the correctness of polarity before connecting the battery to the charger.
  8. Avoid drop and violence during the process of charging. drop and violence will result in an internal short circuit of the battery.
  9. For the sake of safety, please use the original charging equipment and battery pack. please change new one in time when the flying time is becoming shorten due to long time usage.
  10. If it is retained in the charger for a long time after saturated, the battery may automatically discharge. When the charger detects that the voltage of individual cells is lower than the rated voltage, it will recharge until saturated. Frequently charging and discharging will shorten the lifetime of your battery pack. It is advised that please cut off the power and take off the battery after the charging is saturated.

Maintenance of battery pack

  1. The battery pack should be put in a dry and ventilated place. The storage temperature of the environment is ranged from 18°C to 25°C.
  2. Please avoid frequent charging and excessive discharging of the battery pack to prolong its life cycle.
  3. It is a must to maintain the battery pack before long-term storage. That is to charge the battery to the level of 50-60% saturation.
  4. If the storage term is over 1 month, it is advised to monthly check the voltage of every cell of the battery pack. The voltage of every cell should be not less than 3V. Otherwise, please refer to the above article (3).
  5. From the viewpoint of protection, a new battery pack should be motivated before usage. That is to charge and discharge 3-5 times, but discharge is not less than the level of 70% saturation. This process will make the battery lifetime longer and the voltage more stable.

Special drones for Indoor and outdoor should stay away from barriers

This product is a remote-control drone, that is suitable for indoor use and outdoor environments (the outdoor wind power is less than Force 2). To fly this drone, please choose appropriate obstacle-free indoor and outdoor sites with proper distance kept from the crowd or pet animals. Please don’t operate the product in any unsafe environments, such as places of heat, wires, power supply, etc., to prevent the quadcopter from the risks of fire and electric shock resulting from collision, ditching, and entangling of the drone.

The interior of the aircraft is also composed of many sophisticated electronic components so it must be kept away from moisture or water vapor. Don’t operate the aircraft in the bathroom or on rainy days; otherwise, water vapour may get inside the aircraft and cause mechanical parts and electronic components to malfunction leading to expected accidents.

Safe usage of the battery

Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity. The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited. Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed. The exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy. For long-term storage, please take them out to prevent battery leakage. Please dispose of abandoned batteries according to the laws and regulations of the corresponding region to prevent pollution of the environment.

CAUTION
Keep away from the source of heat

The aircraft is mostly made of PA fiber or polyethylene as well as other main materials for electronic products. Therefore, it must be kept from the source of heat and exposure to sunlight to avoid possible damage of deformation or even meltdown due to high temperatures.

How to connect the WIFI signal

  1. Download the app “ATTOP IMAGE ” from the App Store/Google Play. (IOS v9.0 and later / Android v5.0 and later)
  2. Power on the drone.
  3. Go to the WIFI setting on the phone/device, choose the WIFI signal of the drone (W12+No.), and connect it.
  4. Now open the app of the drone, and slip to select the drone “W12” then enjoy playing.

Attention:
When the drone is at the status of low battery, it might be unable to be connected successfully.

  1. After connecting the WIFI signal and entering into the operation interface, press the “ON/OFF button” to open the sticks.
  2. Wait for 2 seconds till the lights of the drone stop flashing then press the “Calibration button” to calibrate the drone if first time play.
  3. Push the Left Control Stick to the lowest left, and meanwhile, push the Right Control Sticker to the lowest right, and the rotors of the drone start rotating, which unlocks the motors. (see pic 1)
  4. Press the “One Key Take Off ” to fly up the drone (or push up the Left Contol Stick slowly), to take off. Press the “One Key Landing ” (or keep pushing down the Left Control Stick directly) to land the drone.

APP operation method

  3. On/Off for control interface

2, Control with the remote controller (IF your drone with controller)

  1. Power on the drone and power on the remote, after matching the frequency between the remote and drone (the lights of the drone and remote become permanent), then connect the WIFI signal between your device and the drone.
  2. Put the device to the clamp of the remote controller, then go to the app interface to play the FPV flying.
  3. Press the “Picture” button on the interface or the controller, to take pica ture. Press the “Video” button on the interface or the controller, to take a video. After taking you can review the files from the media folder, or the album file of your device.
