CHARACTERISTICS OF FAUX WOOD BLINDS

Faux wood blinds are an excellent and economical alternative to wood blinds for many applications and offer a long lasting performance. A durable engineered polymer material is used for all colors.

Faux wood blinds are not intended for installation near heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, and space heaters which can potentially compromise the integrity of the faux wood material. Airflow through the blind is also very important. Keeping slats closed for long periods of time and/ or using additional window treatments in front of or behind blinds can significantly increase the temperature the blinds are exposed to. These high temperatures (above 140°F / 60°C) may cause the slats to warp or twist.
