This device may not be disposed of with normal household waste but must be collected separately for recycling.
Safety
Always follow the safety instructions below for safe use
of the device. Failure to follow these instructions may
endanger persons or the environment.
- Always switch off all devices in the terrarium before maintenance. Disconnect the plug(s) from the socket.
- This device can be used by children aged from 8 years and above, persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been given supervision or instructions concerning the use of the device in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance of the device shall not be done by children without supervision.
- Modifications to the device may affect the safety. The warranty will also expire.
Clock and date setting
- press and hold the MODE button for three sec. The minutes will start flashing. Press de MODE button to switch to minutes, hours, 12/24 hour setting, month and day.
- Press the ADJ button to set the minutes, hours, 12/24 hour setting, month and day.
Note After one minute of inactivity the original screen will return
Note To view the date in the original screen press ADJ
Alarm clock setting
- Short press the MODE button to switch from clock to alarm clock.
- While alarm is displayed, press and hold the MODE button for three sec. The minute display will begin flashing.
- Press the ADJ button to set the minutes and hours.
- Press de MODE button to switch to minutes and hours
Activating Alarm clock
- Short press the MODE button to switch from clock to alarm clock.
- Press the ADJ button once, D))))) symbol will appear indicating alarm is on. Press ADJ again and the will appear, indicating that the hour notification is on. Press ADJ again to turn the alarm and hour notification on, press ADJ again to clear all.
Memory function
- Press the MEMORY button to display the maximum temperature and humidity measured. Press the MEMORY button again to display the minimum temperature and humidity measured. Press the MEMORY button again to return to the current temperature and humidity.
- Press MEMORY button for three sec. to clear the memory.
Comfort display
When temperature is stable between 20˚C to 28˚C (68˚F to 82˚F) and humidity is
stable between 50% to 70%:
COMFORT will be displayed When humidity is above 70%
WET will be displayed When humidity is below 50%
DRY will be displayed
CELSIUS/FAHRENHEIT
To switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius, press Fahrenheit/Celsius selector button on the back of the unit.
Instalation
- Use the provided suction cups to position the sensors inside the terrarium.
- Place Repto Digital Thermo Hygro outside the terrarium. Use a screw to mount on a wall or use the build in stand.
Warning install the Repto Digital Thermo Hygro and the sensors out of reach of pets and away from spray water.
Recycling
This symbol indicates that this product (if it is discarded) may not be disposed of with normal household waste. Instead it must be handed in at an official collection centre (e.g. HWRC). Or can be returned to the dealer when purchasing a similar new product. Follow the applicable rules in your country for the separate collection of electrical and electronic products. Separate collection and recycling are better for the environment, public health and reduces waste.
Warranty
2 years manufacturer’s warranty on materials and construction defects. Devices must be returned complete with all components, accompanied with an official proof of purchase confirming a purchase date for any warranty claims. Incomplete devices of which parts are missing, and devices without proof of purchase are not eligible for warranty. After receiving and checking, we will determine whether the device will be repaired or replaced. For a device repaired or replaced under warranty, the remaining time of the original warranty period applies.
Carefully read the instructions on installation, use and maintenance. Damage due to incorrect use, damage due to contamination or not cleaning the device and damage to the cord are not covered by the warranty.
Always keep the proof of purchase, without proof of purchase the warranty will be void!
