GENERAL INFORMATION

INTRODUCTION
Please read and understand all instructions in this manual carefully and thoroughly before attempting to operate this product. These instructions contain important safety and use information.
UNPACKING: This product has been thoroughly tested and has been shipped in perfect condition. Carefully check the shipping carton for damage that may have occurred during shipping. If the carton appears to be damaged, carefully inspect your product for damage and be sure all accessories necessary to assemble the product have arrived intact. In the event that damage has been found or parts are missing, please contact our customer support team for further instructions. Please do not return this product to your dealer without first contacting customer support at the number listed below. Please do not discard the shipping carton in the trash. Please recycle whenever possible.

CUSTOMER SUPPORT

WARRANTY RETURNS
All returned service items, whether under warranty or not, must be freight prepaid and
accompanied by a return authorization (R.A.) number. The RA number must be clearly written on the outside of the return package. A brief description of the problem as well as the RA
number must also be written down on a piece of paper and included in the shipping container.

If the unit is under warranty, you must provide a copy of your proof of purchase invoice.
Items returned without an RA number clearly marked on the outside of the package will be refused and returned at customer’s expense. You may obtain an RA number by contacting
customer support.

YeeSite LIGHTING is not responsible for injury and/or damages resulting from the misuse of these devices due to the disregard of the information printed in this manual. Only qualified and/or certified personnel should perform installation of these devices and only the original rigging parts included with these devices should be used for installation. Any modifications to these devices and/or the included mounting hardware will void the original manufacturer’s warranty and increase the risk of damage and/or personal injury.

  • RISK GROUP 3 – RISK OF EXPOSURE TO ULTRAVIOLET (UV) RADIATION!
  • FIXTURE EMITS HIGH-INTENSITY WAVELENGTH OF ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT AT A WAVELENGTH OF 395NM – 400NM.
  • WEAR PROPER EYE AND SKIN PROTECTION.
  • DO NOT OPERATE FIXTURE WITH DAMAGED/MISSING EXTERNAL COVER PROTECTIVE LENS.
  • DO NOT LOOK DIRECTLY INTO THE (UV) LIGHT AND/OR VIEW (UV) LIGHT DIRECTLY
  • WITH OPTICAL INSTRUMENTS THAT MAY CONCENTRATE THE LIGHT/RADIATION OUTPUT. AVOID PROLONGED PERIODS OF EXPOSURE.
  • AVOID WEARING WHITE COLOR CLOTHING AND/OR USING (UV) PAINTS ON SKIN.
  • AVOID DIRECT EYE AND/OR SKIN EXPOSURE AT DISTANCES SHORTER THAN 11 feet (3.3m). INDIVIDUALS SUFFERING FROM A RANGE OF EYE CONDITIONS, SUNLIGHT EXPOSURE DISORDERS, OR INDIVIDUALS USING PHOTOSENSITIVE MEDICATION, MAY EXPERIENCE DISCOMFORT IF EXPOSED TO THE ULTRAVIOLET (UV) LIGHT EMITTED FROM THIS FIXTURE.
  • Avoid direct eye contact with laser light. Never intentionally expose your eyes or others to direct laser radiation.
  • This laser product can potentially cause instant eye injury or blindness if laser light directly strikes the eyes.
  • It is illegal and dangerous to shine this laser into audience areas, where the audience or other personnel could get direct laser beams or bright reflections into their eyes.
  • It is a US Federal offense to shine any laser at an aircraft.
  • This unit contains high power laser devices internally. Do not open the laser housing, due to potential exposure to unsafe levels of laser radiation. The laser power levels accessible if the unit is opened can cause instant blindness, skin burns and fires.
  • Laser effects projected 3 meters (9.8 ft) above the audience are eye safe. A survey should be taken to assess the likelihood of any reflective surfaces (such as high windows, chrome bars etc) bouncing stray beams back down into the audience.
  • Using fastening clamps on the light and tight to the ceiling in a strong hook.
  • Make sure its correct power output and plug the power cable to the wall socket.
  • Power must be in earth! Power on the light.
  • Do not shoot the beams to the audience!
  • Do not look direct into the laser aperture once the laser light is ON. Please pay attention to the Laser Danger Warning Label!

SAFETY GUIDELINES

  • DO NOT position device close to any FLAMMABLE MATERIALS while operating.
  • DO NOT attempt installation and/or operation of device without knowledge of how to do so.
  • DO NOT permit operation by persons who are not qualified to operate these types of devices. DO NOT shake device, and avoid brute force when installing and/or operating.
  • DO NOT operate this device if the main power cord has become frayed, crimped and/or damaged. DO NOT remove or break off the ground plug from the device power cords.
  • DO NOT remove or disassemble devices, there are NO user-serviceable parts inside.
  • ALWAYS disconnect device from main power source before performing any cleaning.
  • ALWAYS disconnect light from main power before replacing lamp.
  • ALWAYS be sure to install this device in an area that will allow proper ventilation.
  • NEVER remove the ground prong from the power cable.
  • Power cords should be safely routed and secured so they are not likely to get pinched. Disconnect power cords during long periods of non-use.
  • Only use recommended rigging hardware as described in this guide.
  • Use the original packaging and materials to transport this device for service.

This device should be serviced by qualified service personnel when:

  • The power cords or plugs have become damaged.
  • Objects have fallen on and/or liquid has spilled into the device.
  • The device has been exposed to rain and/or moisture.
  • The device does not operate normally or exhibits a marked change in performance.

MAINTENANCE GUIDELINES

DISCONNECT POWER BEFORE PERFORMING ANY CLEANING OR MAINTENANCE!

CLEANING
Frequent cleaning is recommended to ensure proper function, optimized light output, and an extended life. The frequency of cleaning depends on the environment in which the device operates: damp, smoky, or particularly dirty environments can cause greater accumulation of dirt on the fixture housing and/or light fixture optics. Clean the external surface and the front lens of the device periodically with a soft cloth to avoid dirt/debris accumulation
NEVER use alcohol, solvents, or ammonia based cleaners.

MAINTENANCE
Regular inspections are recommended to ensure proper function and extended life. There are no user-serviceable parts inside these devices, please refer all other service issues to YeeSite Lighting. Should you need any spare parts, please order genuine parts from YeeSitelighting.

Please refer to the following points during routine inspections

  • A detailed review should be performed by an approved electrical engineer every three months, to make sure the circuit contacts are in good condition and prevent overheating.
  • Be sure all screws and fasteners are securely tightened at all times. Loose screws may fall out during normal operation, resulting in damage or injury as larger parts could fall.
  • Check for any deformations on the unit. Deformations could allow for dust to enter into the device, or cause the device to fall and seriously injure a person(s).
  • Electric power supply cables must not show any damage, material fatigue, or sediments.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

FLAMMABLE MATERIAL WARNING
Keep devices at least 5.0 feet (1.5m) away from flammable materials and or pyrotechnics.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
A qualified electrician should be used for all electrical connections and or installations.
DO NOT INSTALL THE DEVICE IF YOU ARE NOT QUALIFIED TO DO SO!

OVERHEAD RIGGING REQUIRES EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE, INCLUDING CALCULATING WORKING LOAD LIMITS, KNOWLEDGE OF INSTALLATION MATERIAL BEING USED, AND PERIODIC SAFETY INSPECTION OF ALL INSTALLATION MATERIALS.
IF YOU LACK THESE QUALIFICATIONS, DO NOT ATTEMPT THE INSTALLATION YOURSELF. IMPROPER INSTALLATION CAN RESULT IN BODILY INJURY.

  • BEFORE RIGGING/MOUNTING DEVICES TO ANY METAL TRUSS/STRUCTURE OR CEILING, A PROFESSIONAL EQUIPMENT INSTALLER MUST BE CONSULTED TO DETERMINE WHETHER THE METAL TRUSS/STRUCTURE OR CEILING IS PROPERLY CERTIFIED TO SAFELY HOLD.
  • THE COMBINED WEIGHT OF THE LIGHT FIXTURE, CLAMPS, CABLES, AND ACCESSORIES. BEFORE MOUNTING DEVICES TO ANY SURFACE OR STRUCTURE, MAKE SURE THE SURFACE OR STRUCTURE CAN HOLD A MINIMUM POINT LOAD OF 10 TIMES THE WEIGHT OF THE DEVICES.
  • MAKE SURE SCREWS AND/OR ANCHOR BOLTS (NOT INCLUDED) FIT INTO MOUNTING HOLES!
  • FOR ADDED PROTECTION, MOUNT DEVICES OUTSIDE WALKING PATHS, SEATING AREAS, OR AREAS WHERE UNAUTHORIZED PERSONNEL CAN REACH THE DEVICES.
  • SECURE FIXTURE WITH A SECONDARY SAFETY ATTACHMENT, SUCH AS AN APPROPRIATE SAFETY CABLE. (NOT INCLUDED)
  • NEVER STAND DIRECTLY BELOW THE DEVICES WHEN MOUNTING, REMOVING OR SERVICING.
  • DEVICES MUST ALL BE INSTALLED FOLLOWING ALL LOCAL, NATIONAL, AND COUNTRY COMMERCIAL ELECTRICAL AND CONSTRUCTION CODES AND REGULATIONS.

CLAMP INSTALLATION
This fixture features a mounting clamp attachment point, which is located on the handle. When mounting the fixture to a truss or any other suspended or overhead installation, be sure to secure an appropriately rated clamp (not included) to the clamp attachment point.

BRACKET INSTALLATION
Steps to install the light on a tripod:

  1. Pull out the three legs of the tripod and extend the support rod

  2. Install the light connector and secure it with screws

  3. Insert the support rod into the light connector interface

  4. Rotate the screw to fix

RIGGING
Overhead rigging requires extensive experience, including but not limited to: calculating working load limits, understanding the installation material being used, and periodic safety inspection of all installation material and the fixture itself. If you lack these qualifications, do not attempt to perform the installation yourself. Improper installation can result in bodily injury.

SYSTEM MENU

CONTROL PAN EL

  • The device includes an easy to navigate system menu that can be accessed via a set of control buttons located on the back face of the device below the digital display.
  • SOUND: Push the switch to the “SOUND” position and the light is set to sound control mode. The light changes color as the sound beat changes.
  • AUTO: Push the switch to the “AUTO” position and the light is set to automatic mode.The lights will change automatically.
  • OFF: Push the switch to the “OFF” position, the power is still on and the light is turn off.

IR REMOTE OPERATION

To minimize the chances of interference, it is highly advisable to test your setup ahead of time to ensure that each IR remote-compatible device is located well outside the range of any other IR remote-compatible devices that have been installed in the vicinity.
