Rollei AC Fun Camcorder and Action Cam
ATTENTION
- This product is a high-precision product, do not drop or hit it. Please use the underwater case which is included in the delivery to protect the camera.
- Do not place the camera near to strong magnetism, such as magnets and motors. Please avoid to place the product near anything emitting strong rad io waves, a strong magnetic field may cause the product to malfunction or damage the image and sound.
- Do not place the camera at high temperatures or direct sunl ight.
- Use brand Micro SD cards as ordinary cards do not guarantee the proper use.
- Do not use Micro SD cards in or near magnetic places to avoid loss of data.
- During the charging process, if there is overheating, smoke or odor, please unplug the power immediately and stop charging to avoid fire.
- Please keep away the camera and its accessories from children to avoid choking or electric shocks.
- Store the product in a cool and dry place.
- Do not use the camera when it is low power or in charging.
- Do not attempt to open the case of the camera or modify it in any way, the warranty will be lost.

Insert camera into waterproof case
- Ensure the case is dry and clean.
- Insert the camera and make sure the lens fits neatly in the lens cavity.
- Close the locking clamps.
- The camera can be mounted using the accessories proviided.
GETTING STARTED
Turn on
Press and hold the Power/ Mode Button for seconds.
Turn off
Press and hold the Power/ Mode Button for seconds.
OVERVIEW
Turn camera ON and repeatedly press the Power/ Mode Button to cycle
through camera modes and settings. The modes will appear in following order:
SETTINGS
Repeatedly press the Power/Mode Button to enter the Setting Menu, use the UP or Down Button to cycle through the various options, and press the Shutter/Select Button to select selected option.

Press the shutter button to exit
VIDEO/PHOTO RECORDING
When power on, short press Power/ Mode Button to switch between the video – photo – video playback – photo playback – delete – setting – exit. Press Power button A to navigate, and Record (shutter) button B to confirm or exit.
Video Recording
Press the Shutter/Select Button when power on to start recording. The camera
Status Light and a red light on the
screen wi ll flash while recording, press again to stop.
Photo Capturing
Press the Shutter/Select Button to t ake a single picture.
Tips:
- Burst Photos only support the photo resolution of 12M*/ 8M/5M. It does not support the photo resolution above 12M.
- Time-Lapse Photo and Burst Photo can not be selected at the same time.
PLAYBACK/ DELETE FILES
Playback files on camera
Make sure the camera is in Video or Photo Playback menu. Press the UP/ Down
Button to cycle the videos or photos, t hen press the Shutter/Select
Button to playback the desired o ptions.
Delete files on camera
Press and hold the UP Button for seconds to delete the optional fi le
To exit playback mode, press the Power/ Mode Button to the main preview menu, press the Power/ Mode Button again to switch to setting menu.
Playback on TV
Turn on the TV
Connect the M ini HDMI end to the port on camera and HDMI end to HDMI port on
the TV
Select the right input source on the TV
Turn on the camera after a while, you can preview the camera f rom TV
Setting your camera into the video/photo playback mode
Select the desired options to playback
Tips:
The camera might not be compatible with the files from different solution
cameras.
If the camera is connected TV with HDMI cable, the camera does not support to
take videos or photo, only for Playback or Preview.
HDMI cable is not included in the standard package, you will need buy an extra
HDMI cable.
STORAGE/ MICRO CARDS
This camera is compatible with 8GB, 16GB and 32GB capacity Micro SD, Micro SDHC and Micro SDXC memory card. You must use a micro SD card with a CLASS 10 (80M/S) speed rating at least. We recommend using brand-name memory cards for maximum reliability in high vibration activities
Tips:
- Memory card is not included in the standard package, you w ill need buy an extra Memory card.
- Please format the Micro SD, Micro SDHC and Micro SDXC memory card on the camera before using.
- Please restart the camera after formatting.
- Please insert the memory card in correct way, otherwise the card slot maybe damaged.
BATTERY
Charging the battery
To charge the battery
- Connect the camera to a computer or USB power supply (5V/1~2A recommended).
- The charging status light remains ON while the battery is charging.
- The charging status light wi ll turn OFF when the battery is f UJ lly charged.
- Charging time: Approx. 4 hours for SV lA power supply
- Please make sure the camera is shut down while charging.
- Charge only w ith SV output charger.
- Remove the battery before using camera as a dash camera and use SV/lA brand-name car charger.
- Do not store in temperature above 140°F/60°C.
- Do not disassemble, crush, damage or dispose of in fire.
- Do not use swell ing battery.
- Stop using the battery after immersed in water.
- Do no throw the camera or its battery to the garbage, find a specific recycling point for it
WIFI SETTING
The camera allows full camera control, live previewing and playback of photos/videos on most Smart phones and Tablets
a. Download the App “Rollei AC Fun” from “Google Play” or from the Apple “App
Store” .
b. Press UP Button to turn on /turn off WiFi.
c. Activate WiFi in the GENERAL SETUP MENU.
d. Go to the Wi-Fi settings on your Phone, you will see “AC Fun” in the list
of available Wireless networks.
e. Connect your Phone to the “AC Fun” via Wi-Fi.
The default Wi-Fi Password for the Rollei AC Fun is: 12345678.
f. Open the app “Rollei AC Fun”
Important: Before connecting camera via WiFi, you need to download the “Rollei AC Fun” App on your smart phone or tablet.

2.4G REMOTE
2.4G W ireless Remote: Splash-proof / Range approx. 10mm
Place the remote control on your wrist and acquiesce ultra- convenient control
for Hiking, Biking, Skiing, Bungee and more while install ing the camera on
your helmet or other place.
Make sure the remote function is activated.
You can press the DOWN button to activate the remote quickly
Pairing procedure
Power on the camera, press the PHOTO key and the VIDEO key for 3 seconds at the same time, and the red and blue lights are displayed at the same time. Press the Photo or Video key, the device performs the related action, and paring code is successful.
The usage of the remote controller
Make sure the camera is in Video/Photo preview mode. If the camera is in
Playback or Setting Menu, the camera can not receive the remote signal and can
not be controlled by the remote.
Photo shoot Press the Photo button once to take a picture, and the red LED indicator flashes once Video recording: Press the video button to start recording, and blue light LED indicator flashes once, press the video button again to stop recording.

Tips:
- Remove the remote- control battery and put it in a safe and reliable place, if do not use for a long time.
- The remote control wi ll always be in standby status. If the indicator is off, the battery is out of power. Then you must replace the battery regularly according to the following steps:
1. Remove the four screws and open the cover;
2. Remove the battery and insert a new CR2032 battery flat side up.
3. Fixed four screws and close the cover.
Disposal
Dispose of packaging: For disposal, separate packaging into different types. Cardboard and board must be disposed of as paper and foil must be recycled.

Battery warning
- Never dismantle, crush, or pierce the battery, or allow the battery to short- circuit. Do not expose battery being placed in high temperature environment, if battery leaks or bulges, stop continue to use.
- Always charge using the charger. Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type.
- Keep the battery out of reach of children.
- Batteries may explode if exposed to naked fire. Never dispose of batteries in a fire.
- Disposed of used batteries observing local regu lations.
- Before disposing the device, please remove the battery.
