DWVO CTLAHL-2006 Headlights Assembly
BEFORE INSTALLATION
- Professional Installation would be highly recommended, please seek assistance at local automotive shop if you have any difficulties in installing.
- Safety comes first! Do not start to work on any vehicle without protection.
- An assistant would be better assist you in the bumper disassembly work.
- Keep cautions to prevent being scratched when working on any parts from the body of the vehicle.
- Do not touch the bulbs or the wire assembly before they are cooled to avoid the burns.

INSTALLATION
STEP 1
- Make sure the headlight switch is in the off position, then open the hood.
- Remove the screws securing the radiator shield and remove the shield.
- Remove the screws and clips on top of the bumper cover.
- Remove the screws securing the air deflector and remove the deflector.
- Remove the screws and clips on wheel arch side.
- Disconnect all connectors.
- Pull the front bumper at the wheel arch to release from the hooks.
- Remove the front bumper.
STEP2
- Remove the (2) retainers and (2) screws securing the headlight.
- Disconnect connectors from the bulbs and socket.
- Twist the scoket and bulbs counterclockwise and remove from the old headlamp.
- Install the socket and bulbs into the new headlight.
STEP 3
- Install the new headlamp in the reverse order of removal.
- Re-install the front bumper and grille cover in the reverse order of removal.
- Aim the new headlamp.
- High/Low Beam Bulb: Hl3
- Turn Signal Bulb: 7444NA
- Side Mark Bulb: 194
VERTICAL AIM ADJUSTMENT
- Park the vehicle on a level surface approximately 7.6 meters (25 feet) from a vertical wall or screen directly in front of vehicle.
- (1) 8 feet
- (2) Center height of lamp to ground
- (3) 25 feet
- (4) Horizontal reference line
- Measure the height from the center of your headlamp (indicated by a 3.0 mm circle on the lens) to the ground and mark a 2.4 meter (8 foot) horizontal reference line on the vertical wall or screen at this height (a piece of masking tape works well).
- Turn on the low beam headlamps to illuminate the wall or screen and open the hood. Cover one of the headlamps so no light hits the wall.
- On the wall or screen you will observe a light pattern with a distinct horizontal edge towards the right. If this edge is not at the horizontal reference line, the beam will need to be adjusted so the edge is at the same height as the horizontal reference line.
- Locate the vertical bolt on each headlamp, then use a socket or screwdriver turn the adjuster either counterclockwise (to adjust down) or clockwise (to adjust up) aligning the upper edge of the light pattern up to the horizontal
