Startup & Mode Selection

Step 1
Attach your selected brush head.

Step 2
Long press the power button for 2 seconds to disable Flight Mode.

• Please apply light pressure when pressing the button
• There is a 1mm gap between the handle and the brush head in order to reduce vibrations between the two.

Step 3
Press once – on / pause
Press twice – switch modes

• Mode 1
• Mode 2
• Mode 3

While the toothbrush is on, press the button to pause. If paused for 10 seconds, the toothbrush will automatically enter Sleep Mode.

Customizing Personalized Modes

Using the lalfen App
Step 1
Scan the QR code to download and install the app from your app store.

Step 2
Ensure that the toothbrush is on and that the power indicator is lit.

• If you need help connecting with the lolfen App, please refer to the User Manual.

Step 3
Open the app and tap the “+” to find your device. Then tap on the device named LFTBO1-X-XXXX to link it (XXXX represents the device ID number).

Step 4
Customize your brushing modes by adjusting the Vibration Strength, Rotation Range, and Rotation Speed.

Scientific Brushing Method

Step 1
Put a small amount of toothpaste on the brush head, wet it with water, and then turn on the toothbrush.

Be sure to put the toothbrush in your mouth before turning it on to prevent the toothpaste from splashing.

Step 2
Position the toothbrush so that it is on the border between the gums and the teeth. Tilt the toothbrush upwards at a 45° angle and guide the toothbrush so that it rests on each tooth for a few seconds.

Step 3
Every 30 seconds the toothbrush will vibrate to remind you to change the brushing area.* After 2 minutes of brushing, the toothbrush will automatically enter Sleep Mode.

• This feature is not enabled by default and needs to be activated in the lalfen App.

Step 4
After brushing your teeth, rinse your mouth with water.

Important Safety Tips

Dangers

1. Do not expose the device or battery to excessively high temperatures.
2. Be aware of the danger of short-circuiting caused by metal objects touching the terminals of battery-powered devices or power sources.
3. If battery leakage is detected, immediately discontinue use. Dispose of leaky batteries in accordance with local environmental laws and guidelines. Do not dispose of leaky batteries with regular household waste.
4. Do not place the charging components of this product in a damp environment or water.
5. Do not charge when there is liquid present in the charging port.
6. Toothbrushes must only be supplied at safety extra low voltage corresponding to the marking on the appliance.

Warning

1. This device contains non-replaceable batteries. When the battery’s lifespan ends, please follow the recycling instructions to properly dispose of the device.
2. To ensure effective battery charging, charge the device in an environment between 0°C to 30°C to avoid situations where the battery cannot be fully charged or charging efficiency is compromised.
3. Regularly inspect the power unit for any damage. If damage is detected, immediately discontinue use and promptly replace it.
4. If the product appears damaged, especially the handle or brush head, please discontinue use.
5. Do not attempt to modify or repair this product on your own.
6. Do not clean this product with paint thinner, solvents, or chemical substances.
7. Do not use in water deeper than 1 meter for more than 30 minutes.

Attention

1. When using this product for the first time, you might experience slight discomfort or minor gum bleeding, as your gums become accustomed to this cleaning method. We recommend starting with the Mode 1. Any initial discomfort generally subsides within 1-2 weeks, but if it persists beyond 2 weeks, discontinue use and consult a dentist.
2. This product complies with safety standards for electromagnetic devices. For any concerns related to pacemakers or other implanted devices, please consult a doctor or the supplier of the implanted device before use.
3. This product is designed solely for cleaning teeth, gums, and the tongue. Do not use it for any other purpose.
4. Users with dental restorations such as orthodontic appliances or dental implants should use this product under the guidance of a dentist. If you experience noticeable bleeding, discomfort, pain, or other medical issues, consult a dentist or physician.
5. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
6. Do not share brush heads with others.
7. We recommend replacing the brush head every three months. If the brush head is damaged or deformed, please replace it immediately.
8. This product is only compatible with Laifen electric toothbrush’s designated brush heads. We do not assume responsibility for the consequences of using unofficial brush heads.

Starting your Brushing Experience

Attaching and Replacing Brush Heads
Attaching: Align the bristles of the brush head with the front of the toothbrush handle. Press the toothbrush head downwards onto the motor shaft to attach it to the handle, ensuring there is a slight gap between the two parts (a gap of ‹1 mm is necessary for operation).
Replacing: Hold the handle and gently push the brush head upwards to remove it. Then, install the new brush head.

Powering On/Off and Switching Between Modes
Press the power button once to power on/pause and press it twice to switch modes:

1. Mode 1: Suitable for first-time use and users with sensitive teeth.
2. Mode 2: Suitable for daily use and users seeking excellent cleaning results.
3. Mode 3: Suitable for users seeking plaque removal and powerful whitening.

During operation, a single press pauses the brushing. If paused for 10 seconds, the toothbrush will enter Sleep Mode.

More Smart Functions
Smart Wake-up: Lift the toothbrush to an upright position to awaken it from the paused state. The power and mode indicators will then light up.
Brushing Timers: After 2 minutes of use, the toothbrush will vibrate and automatically enter Sleep Mode (the timer is not affected by pausing, but it will reset after entering Sleep Mode). This timer can be adjusted from 1-5 minutes in the laifen app under Brushing Duration; if the 30s Reminder is activated in the app, the toothbrush will vibrate twice every 30 seconds to prompt a change in the brushing area.
Flight Mode: In any state, long press the power button for 2 seconds to enter Flight Mode; long press for 2 seconds to exit Flight Mode.

Connecting to the lalfen App
Scan the QR code with your mobile phone to download and install the app from your app store. If you have already downloaded the lalfen App, ensure it’s the latest version and register using your email.

• Ensure that the toothbrush is turned on and the power indicator is lit (when the power indicator is off, then the toothbrush will enter Sleep Mode, and it cannot be connected to the app).
• Open the app and tap the “+” to find your device. Then tap on the device named LFTB01-X-XXXX to link it (XXXX represents the device ID number).
• After successfully connecting, the toothbrush power indicator will turn blue.

Charging Information

You may be required to charge the toothbrush before using it for the first time.

Please note the following when charging:

1. Properly connect the bottom of the toothbrush with the magnetic charging cable. Avoid using force to prevent damage.

2. Connect the magnetic charging cable to a Type-C power adapter and charge it on an AC power outlet rated 100-240V, 50/60Hz.
   Charging indicators and their corresponding battery levels are as follows:
   Battery Percentage:   100%  99%-0%
   Indicator Status: Steady Green Light  Blinking Green Light

3. This product does not include a power adapter and one must be purchased separately. Please avoid charging in damp environments such as bathrooms to ensure electrical safety.

Troubleshooting
If the toothbrush experiences a malfunction where the buttons are unresponsive and the three mode indicators and the power indicator blink in 1-second intervals, please contact customer service for assistance.

Overheating
When the toothbrush motor temperature is too high, the three mode indicators and the power indicator will blink in unison. If this occurs, immediately discontinue use and wait for it to cool down.

laifen Electric Toothbrush contains Lirion rechargeable batteries. In general, the life expectancy and battery life of these batteries vary with usage, so avoid leaving them discharged or unused for extended periods. Caution: Do not open, damage, or expose the batteries to conducting materials (metal), moisture, liquid, fire, or heat. Doing so may cause the batteries to leak or explode, resulting in personal injury. The built-in rechargeable batteries contain substances that could potentially harm the environment and may require disassembly for proper recycling, as per your country or region’s laws. For professional guidance on battery removal or if the batteries cannot be removed, kindly consult Laifen directly or take the electric toothbrush to a government-designated recycling center.

Battery Removal Steps:

• Ensure that the toothbrush is not being charged.
• Ensure that the toothbrush is turned off.
• Open the bottom cover of the electric toothbrush.
• Disconnect the connecting wires using insulated tools.
• Press the side clasps of the body to remove the entire assembly and then extract the battery.
• After removing the battery, ensure the toothbrush is not connected to a power source.
