Product Usage Instructions
1. Safety Measures
Keep the device away from children under 3 years of age. Pay attention to the markings in the battery compartment.
2. Connecting the Receiver
Connect the receiver to a USB 2.0 port on your PC or laptop. Look for a white or black guide to help with the connection.
3. Energy-Saving Function
The keyboard enters sleep mode when not in use to conserve power. It will automatically wake up when a key is pressed.
4. Battery Status
Monitor the battery status LED. Change the batteries when the LED flashes red.
5. Configuring Devices
Use CHERRY KEYS software to customize key assignments for quick access to apps, files, text modules, and macros. Download the software from www.cherry.de.
6. Cleaning the Device
Clean the keyboard with a damp cloth and mild detergent, then dry with a lint- free cloth.

For your safety
Risk of choking from swallowing small parts
- Keep the device out of the reach of children under 3 years. Danger of explosions due to incorrect or incorrectly inserted battery
- Only use batteries of the type named in the technical data.
- Insert the batteries in accordance with the markings (+/-) in the battery compartment. RSI stands for “Repetitive Strain Injury”. RSI arises due to small movements continuously repeated over a long period of time.
- Set up your workspace ergonomically.
- Position the keyboard and mouse in such a manner that your upper arms and wrists are outstretched and to the sides of your body.
- Take several short breaks, with stretching exercises if necessary.
- Change your posture often.
Connecting the receiver to the PC/ laptop
Connect the receiver to a USB 2.0 port on your PC/ laptop if possible (this usually has a white or black guide).
Energy-saving function
When not in use, the keyboard switches into sleep mode, which requires almost no power. It switches on again automatically the first time a button is presed.
Battery status LED
When the LED flashes red, the batteries need to be changed soon.
Configure devices individually
Thanks to the CHERRY KEYS software, you can freely assign many of the keys on the keyboard. This allows you to access apps, files, individual text modules or macros at the touch of a button. You can obtain CHERRY KEYS as a free download at www.cherry.de. Give it a go!
Cleaning the device
NOTE! Aggressive cleaning agents and liquids can damage the devices
- Do not use solvents such as benzene, alcohol, scouring agents or abrasive scourers for cleaning the devices.
- Prevent liquid from getting inside the devices.
- Do not remove the key caps of the keyboard.
- Clean the devices with a slightly damp cloth and some mild detergent (such as washing-up liquid).
- Dry the devices with a soft, lint-free cloth.
If the devices do not work
- Check whether the batteries are inserted correctly and have sufficient voltage.
- Connect the receiver to another USB port on the PC.
- Connect the receiver to a USB 2.0 port on your
PC/laptop (this usually has a white or black guide). Malfunctions occasionally occur on USB 3.0 ports (blue guide).
Disposing of the device and batteries
- Do not dispose of devices and batteries with this symbol in household waste.
- Take the batteries out of the device.
- Dispose of the devices and batteries in accordance with statutory regulations – at your local dealer or at municipal recycling centers
