Product Usage Instructions

  1. Read instructions and view illustrations before beginning the installation.
  2. Ensure the Steering Shaft is removed from the Rack and Pinion of the machine.
  3. Unbolt Tie Rod Ends from Spindles.
  4. Unbolt and remove Steering Rack / Tie Rods from the machine.
  5. Install the new Rack and Pinion using stock hardware.
  6. Reconnect the Shaft to the new Rack and Pinion.
  7. Install Tie Rod Shafts to Ball and Sockets.
  8. Install Tie Rod Ends and Jam Nuts to Tie Rod Shafts.
  9. Secure Tie Rod Ends to the same location as stock on Spindles with the provided hardware.
  10. Set the toe of the vehicle before the initial ride. Have a helper hold the Steering Wheel while adjusting Toe.
  11. Ensure Rack and Pinion can move freely.
  12. After the initial ride, check to see that all hardware remained tight.

FAQ

  • Q: How do I adjust the Inner Tie Rod End?
    A: The Inner Tie Rod End is adjustable and can be tightened. Remove the Clip and loosen the (4) Set Screws. Screw the Inner Tie Rod End into the Cup.

  • Depending on SKU, Tie Rods will be Billet Aluminum, Swaged, or Plain Carbon Steel.

  • Remove Steering Shaft from Rack and Pinion from machine.

  • By purchasing and installing SuperATV® products, user agrees that should damages occur, SuperATV® will not be held responsible for loss of time, use, labor fees, replacement parts, or freight charges. SuperATV®, nor any 3rd party, will not be held responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages that result from any product purchased from SuperATV®.
  • The total liability of seller to user for all damages, losses, and causes of action, if any, shall not exceed the total purchase price paid for the product that gave rise to the claim.
