OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
CHARGING THE BATTERY PACK
Your sander is compatible with the PP202 Battery and PP205 Charger (not
included).
To charge your battery, plug the charger into a power source. A red light on
the charger will illuminate. Place the battery in the charger and a green
light will flash.
Do not charge batteries in extreme heat or cold. Make sure to fully charge and
discharge the batteries on the first few uses to help the battery reach full
charge. Please reference the table on the next page for battery charge status.
{See Table 1) INSERTING AND REMOVING THE BATTERY
Before placing the battery in the sander, make sure the ON/OFF Switch is in
the OFF” position. Slide the battery into the back of the sander until you
hear a “Click” noise. To remove the battery, press the button on the front of
the battery down and pull the battery directly out of the sander. This will
release the battery. APPLYING AND REMOVING YOUR ABRASIVE
PAPER
Your sander comes with three pieces of sandpaper (P80, Pl20 and Pl80). Lower
numbers are used for projects like stripping paint from wood. Medium numbers
are used for general sanding of bare wood without paint or primer applied. The
highest numbers are used for finishing your projects and will give you a
smooth surface. Once you choose the correct sandpaper, make sure your tool is
switched OFF and place the sandpaper on the Hook and Loop Pad. When you want
to change sandpaper, just pull the paper from the Hook and Loop Pad and
install a different piece.
INSTALLING AND EMPTYING THE DUST COLLECTION BOX
To install the Dust Collection Box, press the clips on each side and push into
the sander. Make sure your sander is not ON when installing. We recommend you
empty your Dust Collection Box when it is about 30% full To empty, switch your
sander off and press the clips on the side and pull the box away from the
sander.
You can empty the box by tapping lightly. For thorough cleaning, you can
remove the Dust Filter on the top and rinse with warm water.
BATTERY GAUGE
Your battery includes a power gauge on the back of the unit. To check the
power of your battery, press the button on the back of the unit. Below is a
table showing the power level of your battery. When your LED is flashing, it
is time to charge your battery. {See Table 2)

TOOL SAFETY:
SAFETY
Do not use power tools under the influence of medication, drugs, or alcohol as
this could result in serious injury. Keep hair, clothing, jewelry, and other
loose objects away from moving parts. Use the proper safety equipment when
operating power tools.
Never modify your tools as this could increase the risk of electric shock or
malfunction. Make sure to always ensure proper balance when using power tools.
If your tool is damaged stop use immediately.
WORKING AREA
Keep your working area clean and well lit. Cluttered and dark areas can lead
to accidents. Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres such as in
the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust. Power tools create sparks
which may ignite fumes and dust.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
Always remove the battery before cleaning. Remove dust and dirt with a
slightly damp cloth Ensure that no water gets into the inner parts of your
tools, battery, and charger. Your tool is permanently lubricated and does not
require oil.

Only use the pp2OS charger to charge your battery. Using the incorrect charger
could result in injury or damage to your battery. Do not leave battery and
charger unattended when charging. Once the battery is fully charged, remove it
from the charger. Abuse of the tool can lead to battery leakage. Avoid contact
with battery fluid. If contact occurs, seek medical help immediately. NeVer
