BRWISSEN BR-A A16 Air Quality Monitor
Fault description
- The machine suddenly shut down by itself, rebooting only lasts second or two, or it can not turn on.
Solution: When you use the BR-A machine, please shut it down regularly
and power it off. If the TF memory card is full, please replace it with a new
card in time. Otherwise, there may be a sudden automatic shutdown of the
machine, and cannot open the machine.
If the above problems occur, try the following steps to rectify the
fault:
- Take out the TF memory card on the back of the machine
- After power off, connect the charger to charge for more than 6 hours and then turn it on without the TF memory card to see if it can work.
- If you need data logging, you can try to replace a new TF memory card into the machine to see if it works properly.
Regarding machine reading is high on first use
Reason: Because the packaging material itself contains interference gas,
and it is sealed in the box for a long time, the charge attached to the
surface of the sensor will increase, causing the value of the machine to be
biased when it is turned on.
Solution: After receiving the machine, put it in an outdoor clean and
ventilated environment for about 8 hours, so that the charge can be released.
(Charger can be connected to ensure the power supply)
About battery and charging:
Our monitor has multiple built-in sensors, the power consumption is very high, please make sure to use a 2A adapter to charge it. Please do not use USB power supply, such a charging power is too small. In the power-on state, if the power of the adapter is too small, the charging speed will not keep up with the discharging speed when the machine is in use, and the machine will automatically shut down. If the machine shuts down automatically, please charge the machine for more than 6 hours in the shut down state before turning it on again. When the machine is turned on and used, it takes about 15 hours before the machine can be fully charged. So we generally recommend turning off and charging. There will be no prompt on the screen when charging in off state.
Regarding the high TVOC level
Please check your measuring point if there are some human activities such as
cooking, smoking, drinking or some chemical gases such as perfume, air
freshener, detergent, etc.
Then try to put the machine in an outdoor clean and ventilated environment for
more than 3 hours to see if the machine value will drop.
About CO2 sensor calibration:
The CO2 sensor adopts 72-hour automatic baseline calibration.
Plug in the charger, turn on the machine, click the test button, and let the
machine run continuously for more than 48 hours.
The CO2 sensor will automatically calibrate based on the carbon dioxide concentration value of the current environment.
To verify whether the machine sensor is normal, please pick up the machine to the mouth, blowhard into the air inlet of the machine, see if the value changes
About TVOC and HCHO calibration:
We should calibrate the equipment in fresh outdoor air, because particulate pollution and chemical pollution are two different types of pollution. Very low particulate matter does not mean that chemical pollution and interfering gases do not exist. Our sensor calibration function is for formaldehyde and TVOC. You can put the machine in an outdoor well-ventilated place for 2 hours to see if the readings of formaldehyde and TVOC exceed the standard. If all the readings of formaldehyde and TVOC are very low, you can calibrate it.
Our machine calibration:
-
The machine leaves the factory with our calibrated formaldehyde zero point as the zero point, and restoring the factory settings will also restore to our factory calibrated zero point.
-
If you calibrate the device on site, the device will use the current calibration environment as the zero point.
-
After you finish the calibration, if the current calibration environment formaldehyde value is higher than the factory calibration zero point, it will be displayed a positive number in the calibration setting interface of the machine.
If the current calibration environment formaldehyde value is lower than the factory calibration zero point, it will display Is negative. -
Under normal use, frequent calibration is not required.
Notes on machine ventilation are as follows:
- Before using for the first time, we should put the machine in a well-ventilated outdoor environment and turn it on for 8 hours.
- After the machine is exposed to high-concentration gas, it should be placed in an outdoor ventilated place for more than two hours to restore the sensor. Do not immediately pack it, because after packaging, Polluted gas will accumulate on the surface of the sensor for a long time, which is not conducive to the recovery of the sensor. It may cause data anomalies the next time it is used.
- If the sensor is poisoned by high-concentration pollutant gas (the value is too high or too low), the machine should be placed in a well-ventilated outdoor environment, connected to the charger, and continuously powered on for more than 48 hours to restore the sensor.
But In severe cases, the sensors can cause permanent damage.
Do not place the machine in a high-lampblack environment. The light path of the particle sensor will be blocked, making readings impossible and unable to recover.
High-smoke or high dusty environments with very low visibility can also block the optical path of the sensor and cause abnormal readings. Take the machine away from this environment and place it in a clean and well ventilated environment for along time to recover.
PM and particle number
-
PM1.0, PM2.5, PM10
Unit: μg/m3 (Micrograms per cubic meter)
Refers to the concentration of particulate matter in the environment, a unit of mass
PM2.5: is the total mass of all particles with a diameter of less than Or equal to 2.5 microns in the ambient air per cubic meter.
PM10: is the total mass of all particles with a diameter of less than Or equal to 10 microns in the ambient air per cubic meter. -
6-channel particle number: >0.3 >0.5 >1.0 >2.5 >5.0 >10
Unit: Num/L (number/liter, Number per liter of air)
It is a unit of quantity
5.0: The number of particles greater than 5.0 refers to the total number of particles greater than 5 microns in diameter per liter of air
10: The number of particles greater than 10 refers to the total number of particles greater than 10 microns in diameter per liter of air.
About data record
Memory card storage frequency: data is stored once every minute, and the data
at the60th second of data capture is stored
Data record reading: You can take out the TF memory card, insert the card
reader, connect to the computer, and the data will be exported to TXT files.
You can convert TXT files into excel files, and use the chart function of
excel files to convert data into graphs for trend analysis.
To ensure accurate readings, please test more than 20 minutes to start reading,
After the machine is turned on, BR-A ,the test will start automatically after the machine is turned on.
The PM particle sensor does not need to be preheated. HCHO, TVOC and CO2 sensor need 1-3 minutes to start reading due to their characteristics. When the machine is just started to run, the value is constantly changing, because it takes a process for the value to rise from 0. After the machine runs for about 20 minutes and the reading tends to be stable, observe the value of the machine and analyze the indoor air condition.
When we test the air quality in a room, in order to ensure accurate results, we should keep the machine away from some interference factors, such as some perfume, incense, freshener, detergent and other interference gases, as well as smoking, cooking, drinking, human breathing and other human interference factors.
