Basic instructions
ELCB: Light is ON = Normal/Safe Operation
HEAT: Light is ON = The water is being heated
ELCB: Light is flashing = Electric leakage detected
HEAT: Light is OFF = No heating is taking place
Basic Functions
- The instant water heater is equipped with leakage protection. When a leakage occurs, the appliance automatically cuts off the heating output in order to ensure safety.
- Overheating protection: when the outlet water temperature is more than 50° Celsius, the appliance will automatically the heating procedure in order to prevent burns or injuries.
- The heating protection does not function during icing conditions: when the temperature drops excessively (0-2 degrees Celsius), the appliance will not be heating.
- Dry burning-resistant protection.
Using the appliance
- After confirming that the water heater is installed properly, let the water in and close the water inlet valve when water comes out from the water outlet.
- Close the switch with which you have turned on the water heater. At this time a beeping sound comes from the buzzer.
- Press ON/OFF to turn on the water heater switch. The display screen lights up. At this time, the outlet water temperature can be set by pressing the UP/DOWN button. Every time you press the UP button, the temperature rises by one degree. Every time you press the DOWN button, the temperature fails by one degree to a minimum
- After setting the outlet temperature, open the inlet valve and the water heater enters into the heating state. The temperature displayed on the display screen rises gradually until it reaches the set point and maintains. When the water flow is too large, it must adjusted in order to achieve the set outlet temperature. When the water flow is on the contrary inadequate, the appliance will stop the heating procedure as the water flow will be required to be adjusted accordingly. The appliance has the function of overheated protection. When the outlet water temperature exceeds 50° Celsius, the instant water heater will stop the heating procedure. If the water temperature drops to a certain temperature, the appliance will automatically return to the previous heating procedure.
- By closing the water inlet valve, the water heater will stop heating. The appliance is also characterized by a memory function. When the water inlet valve is opened again, the appliance will automatically enter in the working state as previously without any readjustment. The appliance is very convenient to use, in general.
Installation
- Tools required: percussion drill, hammer, cross screwdriver, wrench, pliers.
- Materials: wires, matching leakage switch or suitable and safety wiring tools, insulation packing materials, water pipe fittings, water pipe sealing materials.
- Checking: the grounding is in compliance with safety regulations or not, the outside leading wire of the machine is in compliance with electrical safety regulations or not.
Installation steps
- According to the screw holes’ size of the machine hanging plate, drill holes in the corresponding position of the installation. Fix and install the machine hanging plate, put the machine on and pull it down slightly, then the machine will firmly hang on its mounting position.
- Use suitable water inlet pipe access to cold water port, make it connected or connect to a water switch, and ensure no leaking.
- Connect corresponding bath apparatus on the heating water outlet of the machine.
- Connect the earth wire and electric input line of the machine.
Installation security warnings
- The technicians who will install the appliance must be accordingly qualified.
- All materials must comply with the relevant technical requirements.
- Installations must comply with the local installation safety requirements and technical specifications (grounding).
NOTICES:
- Regular security checks should be done by relevant technicians.
- Replace the shower head regularly, or clean it to make sure it remains unblocked.
- Clean the dirt which is brought by the water inlet regularly in order to keep the inlet unblocked.
- The appliance must be turned off should you observe any abnormal” operation. Ask the relevant technician to get the appliance tested and maintain it.
