PARTS

- IMPORTANT! Adult assembly is required. Keep the child away during unpacking and assembly.
ASSEMBLY
TO ASSEMBLE PLAYARD
ATTENTION: The Playard must be fully assembled and securely locked before installing or using other accessories.
- Unzip the bag and remove the Playard frame (Fig.1). Undo the Fasten straps and set the Mattress aside. DO NOT push the centre down yet.
- Top rails must be fully locked before lowering centre. Pull up one rail at a time, hold one hand on each side of the rail and pull up sharply, do not pull from the middle where the centre latch release is located, make sure both tubes latch in place and each rail is rigid (Fig. 2a).
- IMPORTANT: The centre of the playard must be fully raised when locking the gates (Fig. 2b). If you are having difficulty and one side of the bars locks but the other side does not unlock the bars by squeezing the handle in the centre of the playard and try again. If you still have difficulty, contact our Customer Service Center at 1-800-328-7363 or visit our website at www.babytrend.com.
- IMPORTANT: The handle located in the centre of the playard MUST remain in the raised position (Approximately 45.7 cm or 18 inches), when locking the sidebars. If the center is not lifted the bars will NOT lock.
- The playard fabric should be tucked into the corner plastic before pushing the centre down (Fig. 2c).
- Once all four (4) top rails are locked in place, push down on the centre handle (Fig. 3a). The centre mechanism automatically locks in place.
- IMPORTANT: Test each top rail by pushing down slightly to confirm each is rigid and securely in place before use (Fig. 3b).
- For already assembled Playard you may skip for the accessories instructions. To install the mattress into the playard proceed to Step 4.
- Place the Mattress on the floor of the Playard with the padded side facing up (Fig. 4).
- Insert the hook & loop fasteners located on the underside of the mattress through the slots in the floor of each end of the playard (Fig. 5a). Fasten the hook and loop fasteners to the underside of the playard floor to prevent the mattress from moving (Fig. 5b).
- IMPORTANT: The handle located in the centre of the Playard floor MUST remain raised (Approx. 45.7 cm or 18 inches) while locking the side rails in place. If the center is not raised the rails will NOT lock. If you experience difficulty and one side of the rail will lock but the other side will not then, unlock the rail by squeezing the release in the centre and try again. If you still have difficulty, contact our Customer Service Center at 1-800-328- 7363 or visit us online at www.babytrend.com.
- To operate the brakes on the wheels, press downward on the brake levers. To release, lift upward on the lever (Fig. 6). FOLDING PLAYARD
- Release the hook and loop fastener holding the Mattress from underneath the Playard floor or the Bassinet and set the mattress aside. DO NOT unlock top rails yet, center of the floor handle must be raised before the top rails will unlock.
- Fully rotate the centre handle counter-clockwise 90 degrees and raise the centre as high as the top rails (Fig. 7). Gather the Legs and Wheels together towards the centre as close as possible so that they nearly touch.
- Locate the rail latch release button in the centre and bottom side of each rail. While holding the handle up approximately 18 inches, lift each rail and press the buttons to unlock (Fig. 8a), then push down (Fig. 8b).
- NOTE: If the top rail(s) do not release completely,
- DO NOT FORCE! Lift the centre of the floor handle higher. All 4 tubes must be released for the top rail to fold.
- Gather all four (4) corners and the center together tightly (Fig. 9). Wrap the Mattress around the Playard frame with padded side facing inward.
- Secure the hook and loop fasteners by feeding them through the loops on the end of the mattress then fold them back onto themselves (Fig. 10).
- Place folded Playard into carry bag so that the handle comes through the opening between each side of the zipper.
ACCESSORIES
Full-Size Bassinet
- Do not use this bassinet if you cannot exactly follow the instructions that come with it.
- Remove this accessory when a child is in the playpen.
- Do not use this accessory for a child who can roll over or who has reached the height of 25 in. (635 mm), weight of 15lbs. (6.8 kg) or 3 months old, whichever comes first.
- Do not place in or near this bassinet any cord, strap or similar item that could become wrapped around a child’s neck.
- Check this accessory regularly before using it, and do not use it if any part is loose or missing or if there are any signs of damage. Do not substitute parts. Contact the manufacturer if replacement parts or additional instructions are needed.
- Children can suffocate on soft bedding. Do not place pillows, comforters or an additional mattress pad in this accessory.

TO ASSEMBLE THE FULL-SIZE BASSINET
- Full- Size Bassinet with metal support tubes
- Connect opposing Mattress Support Tubes that are attached to the bottom of the Bassinet (Fig. 11a).
- Before placing the Mattress into the Bassinet, make sure the Mattress Support tubes are connected (Fig. 11b).
- Position the Bassinet over and down into the fully assembled Playard. Secure in place by pushing down firmly on each plastic support clip until all are snapped into place (Fig. 12)
- Place the Mattress into the Bassinet with the padded side facing upward (Fig. 13).
Changing Table:
- Do not use this accessory if you cannot exactly follow the instructions that come with it.
- Remove this accessory when a child is in the playard.
- Do not use this accessory for a child who has reached the height of 22 in. (558mm), weight of 15lbs. (6.8kg) or 3 months old, whichever comes first.
- Do not leave a child unattended in or on this accessory.
- Do not put a child to sleep or leave a sleeping child in or on this accessory.
WARNING FALL HAZARD:
- Children have suffered serious injuries after falling from changing tables. Falls can happen quickly.
- STAY within arm’s reach of your child.
- ALWAYS secure the changing table to the playard frame. See instructions for details.
SUFFOCATION HAZARD:
- Babies have suffocated while sleeping on changing tables. Changing tables are not designed for safe sleep.
- NEVER allow the baby to sleep on the changing table.
- NEVER leave the changing table in place when the child is in the full-size bassinet or the playard. To prevent your child from falls and other injuries, always use the safety belt when children are on the changing table.
- Discontinue use of the full-size bassinet and the changing table when the child begins to push up on hands and knees or has reached the height of 22 in. (558.8 mm), weight of 15 lb. (6.8 kg) or 3 months old, whichever comes first.
- Do not use the changing table if it is damaged or broken.
- ALWAYS use the restraint system. Adjust the belt as needed to get a snug fit.
TO ASSEMBLE CHANGING TABLE
Changing Table Assembly will require the following parts:
ATTENTION: Playard and full-size bassinet must be fully assembled and securely locked before installing or using the changing table feature (See To Assemble Playard and full-size bassinet section).
- Lay the changing table cover on a flat surface with the backside facing up. Locate the 2 Curved Connector Bars (Fig. 14a).
- Insert the Curved Connector Bars into the backside of the Changing Table covering (Fig. 14b).
- Attach the Short Bars with the 2 Connectors to the Curved Connector Bars (Fig. 14c).
- Be sure the clips are faced up during this preparation on the backside of the changing table covering (Fig. 14d).
- Insert both ends with the push pins into the Curved Connector Bars. Ensure all pins click into postion on all 4 connection points (Fig. 14e).
- NOTE: If removal needed, push in all 4 pins to disconnect.
TO SECURE THE CHANGING TABLE TO THE PLAYARD PARA SUJETAR EL CAMBIADOR AL CORRALITO
- IMPORTANT! When the changing table is on the upper position the changing table must be secured to the playard frame (with full-size bassinet installed) by using the snap button straps or 2 hanging clip fasteners provided.
- Locate the 2 hanging clip fasteners on the bottom of the changing table and attach them to the short side railing (Fig. 15a). Ensure the straps are NOT twisted (Fig. 15b).
- Flip the Changing Table over onto the Playard. Push down on the 4 clips to secure them onto the full-size bassinet railing (Fig. 15c). Ensure to engage all 4 clips to the plastic support clips of the full-size bassinet on the long rail sides (as shown with the arrows).
- NOTE: DO NOT use the changing table on the playard without the full-size bassinet (See To Assemble full-size bassinet section, and secure the clips to the playard.
TO USE CHANGING TABLE RESTRAINT SYSTEM
- Place the child on the changing table, and make sure hands and arms are clear of the restraint. Bring the restraint around the child’s waist and clip the male and female ends of the buckle together (Fig. 16a).
- Tighten the strap until fits snugly around the child’s waist (Fig. 16b). DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN.
- To remove, unsnap the buckle.
- ATTENTION: NEVER use a changing table if it is damaged or broken.
TO REMOVE THE CHANGING TABLE
NOTE: Before folding the product, ensure to remove the changing table.
- Lift up the 4 clips of the changing table and flip it over the full-size bassinet railing (Fig. 17a).
- Lift up the changing table from the side rail (Fig. 17b).
Oval Napper:
- Do not use this accessory if you cannot exactly follow the instructions that come with it.
- Remove this accessory when a child is in the playpen.
- Do not use this accessory for a child who can roll over or who has reached a height of 25 in. (635mm), weight of 15 lbs. (6.8 kg) or 3 months old, whichever comes first.
- Do not place any cord, strap or similar item in or near this accessory that could become wrapped around a child’s neck.

ATTENTION: Playard and Full-size bassinet must be fully assembled and securely locked before installing or using the oval napper feature (See To Assemble Playard and Full-size bassinet sections.
- Insert and slide the left oval napper frame bar into the left sleeve of the fabric (Fig. 18a). Repeat for the right side.
- NOTE: Ensure the pins on the frame are faced inward of the oval napper for both sides (Fig. 18b).
- Insert the left and right frame bars into each of the right and left end of the oval napper main bracket, and slide inward until they lock in place (Fig. 18d). Make sure the frame bar supports are seated and locked.
- NOTE: From the back side, ensure that the pins “click” into the main bracket (Fig. 18e).
- Repeat this process for the other side.

- Remove the Toybar/Mobile/Canopy with toys when baby begins to push up on hands and knees. Recommended use from birth to 5 months.
- Toys are not intended to be mouthed by the baby and should be positioned clearly out of reach of the baby’s face and mouth.
- ALWAYS attach all provided fasteners (strings, straps, clamps, etc.) tightly to the playard according to these instructions. Check frequently.
- Do not add additional strings or straps to attach to any other crib or playpen.
- The Toybar/Mobile/Canopy with toys is intended for visual stimulation and not to be grasped by the child.
CANOPY ASSEMBLY
- Push down on the ends of the toy bar to secure it onto the top of the frame (Fig. 19a).
- To remove, unclip the canopy from the bar and lift to remove (Fig. 19b).
- Secure the Canopy fabric: Pull the fabric over the oval napper frame (Fig. 19c). Use the strap to secure the fabric over to the back side of the main bracket (Fig. 19d).
- NOTE: Ensure it wraps completely over the main bracket and its counterparts (Fig. 19e).
TO SECURE THE OVAL NAPPER TO THE PLAYARD
IMPORTANT! When the Oval Napper is on the upper position, it must be secured to the playard frame (with full-size bassinet installed) by using the snap buttons, straps, brackets or fasteners provided.
- Align the 2 main connectors to the bars of the playard frame (with a full-size bassinet installed) (Fig. 20a).
- NOTE: Ensure the front and back main brackets are completely pushed in the playard frame (Fig. 20b). DO NOT use Oval Napper on the playard without the full-size bassinet and securing the brackets and straps to the playard.
- Ensure to snap the button strap vertically over the railing on both sides (Fig. 20c).
- WARNING: Care must be taken when folding and unfolding to prevent finger entrapment.
- CAUTION: Do not allow children near while folding and unfolding.
- Remove the Oval Napper from the Playard (Fig. 21).

WARNING: Do not place hot liquids or more than 2 pounds in the Side Pocket Organizer. Serious burns or unstable conditions could result. For your safety, do not allow children to hang or play with side pockets.
