ZIGBEE STANDALONE SOLUTION USING YSIA REMOTES
VERSION 1.0 | JUNE 2023 | Prepared by PROJECT SERVICES
OVERVIEW
DESCRIPTION
The Somfy Zigbee Standalone Solution using the Ysia remotes defines the new
process to follow for initial set up and adjustments without using the TaHoma
switch and TaHoma pro app. This offers direct two-way communication between
remotes and motors for programming and control utilizing the Zigbee technology
protocol.
This solution provides the ability for pairing and settings needed for all
users from the manufacturers, installers, and the end user. Programming
options include pairing remotes, adjusting rotation direction, and setting end
limits.
NOTE: Advanced motor settings require the use of the TaHoma pro
application.
TaHoma Pro account access is required ahead of time to use the TaHoma Pro app.
TaHoma pro is the recommended tool to set a motor and to pair a remote.
TaHoma pro allows basic settings of rotation direction and end limits, as well
as the advanced settings of a motor including speed adjustment, tilt & lift
products, and soft start and soft stop duration.
