IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please read this manual carefully before using this player and keep it for later reference.
THE CD PLAYER
- If the player fails to work, please contact our customer support team on support@klimtechnologies.com, our stoff will be happy to resolve your prablems. Remember that the KLIM Discman is supported by our warranty.
- The device cannot be used or stored in moist environments. Keep the device away from ony liquid, steam, etc.
- Do not place ony liquid or unintended abjects other than COs into the player.
- Do not expose the device ta sunlight aver long periods of time and keep it away from heaters. The player is not intended to be stored or used in high temperature environments.
- All professionals with extensive electronic knowledge and maintenance experience are allawed to disassemble the player for maintenonce. The replacement of spare parts must be done in strict accordance with the parameters of the circuit design.
- Do not scratch or hit the player with sharp objects.
- There are light emitting diodes in this device. Da not laok directly into the lens; such exposure may cause permanent eye damage.
- Children under the age of 12 should be supervised by an adult when using this device.
BATTERY
Do nat disassemble the device or charge the device with power adapters that do
not meet the electrical parameters of this product to avoid permanent damage.
For your sofety, please handle the built-in high-capacity polymer lithium
battery by following the
instructions below:
- Do not remove the battery pack.
- D0 not drop or expase the device to any physical impact.
- D0 not short circuit or pierce the battery.
- D0 not place the player under ambient temperatures abave 131°F (95°C).
- Do not put the battery ina fire.
- If the battery has been damaged, ask o professional to replace the battery with the same specifications, or contact our customer support team.
HEARING SAFETY WARNINGS
Adjust the volume to an appropriate level. If the volume is too high, it may
domoge your heoring or even couse permanent damage. You should increase the
volume slawly, until o comfortable, clear sound con be heard.
Listening to an audio device, even at a reasonable volume, may cause hearing
damage if done for extended periods of time. Please use the device in
moderation and allow for adequate rest for your ears.

FRIST USE
HOW TO INSERT A DISC
Push the OPEN button on the right to open the cover. Before first use,
remove the protective cardboard to reveal the lens. Insert your index finger
into the center hale of the disc and take the edge of the disc with your
thumb. Keep the labeled side upward while inserting the disc into CD player
and press the disc gently to lack it in place.
Close the disc cover completely, otherwise the player will not read the disc.
To remove aninserted disc, gently pull it upwards from the side.
Note: The player is only compatible with CO, CDR, Mp3, HDCO formots.
USING ATF CARD
After inserting a TF card into the corresponding slot, press and hald the
button to enter TF card playback mode. NOTE: the TF card slat only supports
cards up to 64GB of capacity.
USING EARPHONES
Only earphones with a 3.5 mm jack are compatible with this device. In order to
experience the best sound quality, please use the included KLIM Fusion or
similar high fidelity headphones. You may connect two headphone sets
simultaneously, one in each part.
HOW TO TURN OFF THE PLAYER
The power switch is located on the side. Slide it to the ON position to ploy
normally. When the last track ina disc is played or there is no disc in the
unit, the player will enter standby mode after 60 seconds. Press the button
again to restart the player.

TO TURN OFF THE PLAYER
There are two ways to turn off the player:
- Move the power switch to the OFF pasition if the ployer will not be used for an extended period of time.
- The player will enter stondby mode by pressing the button twice in succession. On standby, the player will cantinue ta consume some power, since it is nat completely switched off.
IMPORTANT: while on standby mode, press the button to reactivate the
player.
Note: While in FM made, long press the button to turn the player off.
To turn it back on, press the button.
CHARGING THE PLAYER
This product is equipped with one charging cable. You can use any charger that
supports USB 2,0 protocol or standard USB charger to charge the player.
Note: the low battery sign flashes an the screen when battery level is
law.
Charging time: It takes oround 4 hours to fully charge the player (this
varies depending on the power output), When the battery is being chorged, the
LED indicator is red.
Once the player is fully charged, the LED indicator will turn green.
The screen will also show a charging battery icon while the player is being
charged, and It will show you a full battery icon when fully charged.
PLAYBACK OPTIONS
HOW TO CONNECT BLUETOOTH DEVICES
- Turn on your Bluetooth headphone/speaker and make sure that the Bluetaoth function is turned on.
- Turn on the player and press the button to select the Bluetooth function. Press the button to activate it.
- Select the “BT Search” optian using the and buttons, then press the button to start searching for available Bluetooth devices to poir with.
- Press the button ta select the name of your device that needs ta connect to.
- Once the device is successfully paired, press the Bluetooth button to return to the play interface.
Note: Bluetooth will turn off gutomatically when entering FM mode.
SAVING TRACK PRESETS
- Press to stop all playback.
- Press the burton to enter programming mode. The screen changes as depicted below.
- Press and to select the track you want ta save, then press PROG to sove it.
- Repeat step 3 until you have assigned all the tracks. You can assign up to 32 tracks.
- Press while in programming mode to stort playing your trock selection.
To exit programming mode, press the button,
NOTE: the preselectian is not stored in memory. Once yau leave the
programming mode, you’ll need to reprogram all tracks again.
PLAYING FOLDER TRACKS (DIR)
Press to choose different folders if there are multiple folders on the CD.
In TF card mode, press and hold the to enter the folder preview. Press or to
switch between folders. Press to confirm the folder, choose the track and
press to play.
Long press to return to the main playback interface.
PLAYBACK SPEED ADJUSTMENT
Long press to reduce the playback speed (-7).
Long press to increase the playback speed (+7).
The normal playback speed is 0.
PLAYBACK MODE
Press and hold for 2 seconds to switch between CD and TF card.
Press to change the playback mode between: 1 (repeat track) / A (repeat
album) / RND (shuffle) / INT (intro preview) / NOR (normal mode). In TF card
mode, you also have the additional mode: F (repeat folder).
RECORDING FUNCTION (TO TF)
Press and hold to start the recording function, press and hold the button
again to complete the recording
Note: If no TF card is installed, it will prompt “No device”).
DIGITAL EQUALIZATION
Press the button to change the equalization. There area total of 7 presets:
NOR, BBS, POP, ROC, JAZZ, CLAS, COV. FM TRANSMITTER
This allows you to wirelessly connect the device to your car’s audio system
through the car’s radio. In CD or TF card mode press once to display “FM OFF”.
Press again to toggle between FM 79.3 MHZ / 88.5 MHZ / 93.6 MHZ / 101.9 MHZ /
107.1 MHZ / FM OFF. Choose one of these frequencies and tune your car’s radio
to the same frequency. You can now play music from your Discover on your car’s
audio system.
Note: This mode will turn off Bluetooth automatically.
FM Radio
- Connect the headphones to the AUX 2 port : they will act as on antenna and increase the signal reception. You can also connect a detachable 3.5 mm antenna (not included).
- Press the button to enter Radio made.
- Press the button and the player will start searching for stations and storing them automatically. Once the search has finished, it will play the first station detected.
- Use the and buttons tO change stations.
- Press the button while ona specific station to store it. The screen will show a number blinking on the screen, Press the button again to confirm, You can store up to 40 stations.
Note: While in FM mode, long press the button to turn the player off. To
turn it back on, press the button.
Note: Press the key to manually increase the frequency, press the key to
manually decrease the frequency, Press the button to exit Radio mode.
OTHER FEATURES
KEY LOCK
After playback mode and sound settings have been selected, you can move the
HOLD switch to the ON position to lack the buttons prevent changing the
settings by mistake. This is particularly interesting when doing sports or
storing your CD player in a bag or
backpack.
Note: the valume slider and power switch are not affected by the HOLD
function.
CONNECTION TO OTHER SPEAKERS
Use the included 3.5 mm male-to-male cable toa connect the CD player to other
devices such as external speakers, amplifiers, headphones, etc. You can also
connect it to your car’s audio system vig the AUX port.
NOTE: connection via USB port is not supparted, Refer to your audio
system’s manuals for further instructions.
WARNING: do not manipulate the CD player while driving. Always keep your
attention on the road!
VOLUME ADJASTMENT
The volume controller is located on the side of the player. Flick it to the
left or right to decrease or increase the volume. Remember to select an
adequate volume level to prevent any harm. Listening to loud sounds for long
periods of time may cause permanent hearing damage.
TROUBLESHOOTING

TOUCH THE LENS WITH YOUR HANOS
The CO player isn’t charging| There is no current in the outlet.| Make sure
the power outlet is working.
The charger is damaged.| Replace the charger with another one matching the
specifications (DC 5V/1A).
The player is damaged.| Contact us or ask a professional for repairs.NOTE:
While charging, make sure that the power source and the charging voltage are
DC 5V/1A. Excessive voltage input may cause overload damage.
Tracks skip while playing| The disc is scratched.| Use a dry cloth to clean
the disc, or try another disc to see it works well.
The player is subject to vibration or bumps (i.e. while in the car)| Keep the
CD player stable while playing o CD.
The CD player does not connect to my cars bluetooth system| External devices
(including the KLIM Discover) cannot be guaranteed to work with all car
manufacturers’ infotainment system. Car systems are
regularly updated with new software which can sometimes lead to bluetooth
connectivity issues of external devices.| Please contact us so our customer
service can advice you on this common issue.
My car’s radio isn’t playing
the tracks from the CO
ployer/TF card properly.| The FM frequencies on your CO player and the car
radio are not the same.| Make sure you select the same FM frequencies on both
the CO player and the car radio. If the problem persists try o different FM
frequency.
