Parts List

  • Note: 2 D – size batteries are NOT included.

Before Installation

Items required but NOT included: 2 x D-size batteries, screwdriver, wrench.
Be sure that all parts are on hand before proceeding with the installation.
Under normal circumstances, tools are not required for the installation process. However, some toilet bowls may be designed with hard to reach areas, in which case, a screwdriver or wrench may be required.

Installation

Please read these instructions carefully before installing the BREEZA.
Failure to do so may result in damage to the product.

1) Removing Existing Toilet Seat

a) Lift hinge covers and use a screw driver to remove the mounting bolts.
b) Remove the toilet seat.
Steps may vary by type of seat.

2) Installing the BREEZA

a) Insert the adjustable Mounting Bolts into appropriate grooves on the bottom of the BREEZA (US for United States & EU for European).
b) Insert the Mounting Bolts through the toilet mounting holes.
c) Adjust the seat by sliding it forward or backward along the track to obtain optimum position over the toilet bowl.
d) Insert Rubber Washer, Plastic Washer and Plastic Wing-nut, from under the toilet, onto each Mounting Bolt and fasten until snug (repeat process on the other side).
e) Use a Wrench to assist with tightening the Plastic Wing-nut if necessary.

3) Installing the BREEZA (alternate) I

Some toilet fixtures are designed with only top-side access. To install the BREEZA onto these types of fixtures, an Alternate Mounting Kit Is required.

4) Opening I Closing1 POD Lid

To Open:
a} Gently press down on the top edge.
b) Push foiward to remove.

To Close:
a) Position POD Lid on top of the POD opening.
b) Push POD Lid inward, listen for a “click” to ensure that POD Lid is securely closed.

5) Inserting Accessory Items

a) Insert 2 D-size batteries in designated slot with positive(+) side exposed.
b) Insert Breeza Filter cartridge in the designated location.
c) Insert Breeza Vent cartridge in the designated location.

Operation

Features of the BREEZA are designed to function only when the seat is occupied.
The Deodorizer LED indicat.or (blue light) will remain off when not in use.

Using the BREEZA

To S1art: Gently sit on the seat. The seat sensor will automatically activate the Deodorizer function.

To S1op: Move away from the seat. The Deodorizer function will remain on for an additional 60 seconds before automatically switching off.

Caution

Seat Sensor
The seat sensor is designed to activate by the touch of bare skin.
Do not insert a seat cover over the BREEZA seat.

Maintenance

Seat Cleaning

Use a soft, damp cloth and mild cleanser (such as dish soap) to wipe down the seat and lid. NEVER scrub or use harsh, abrasive products to clean the BREEZA.

For more thorough cleaning, you may remove the BREEZA. To release, unscrew and remove the Plastic Wing-nut,
Plastic Washer and Rubber Washer that are against the bottom of the toilet mounting holes.

Perform the reverse operation when reinstalling the BREEZA back onto the toilet.

Accessories Replacement

In order lo maintain optimum performance, replace accessory items on a regular basis.

Change batteries soon after the low battery indication is activated (flashing blue light).

Warranty

5 Year Limited Warranty

Brondell warrants that all products (excluding accessory Items) shall be free from defects In material and workmanship under normal use and service.
Warranties do not apply to products that are used for commercial, hospital or other non-residential application. Residential Warranties for Breeza and Breeza Warm Toilet Seat Products

  • 100% Coverage of all parts and labor for the first 2 years from original date of purchase
  • 50% Coverage of all parts and labor for the years 3-5 rrom original date of purchase

Exclusions and Limitations

  1. BRONDELL warrants its products to be free from manufacturing defects under nomial use and service. This warranty is extended only to the ORIGINAL PURCHASER. This warranty does not apply to the Swash line of products.

  2. BRONDELL’s obligations under this warranty are limited to repairs or replacement, at BRONDELL’s option, of products or parts found to be defective, provided that such products were properly installed and used in accordance with instructions. BRON DELL reserves the right to make such inspections as may be necessary in order to determine the cause of the defect. BRONDELL will not charge for labor or parts in connection with warranty repairs for the first 2 full years from date of purchase and will cover 50% of parts and labor in years 3-5.

  3. BRON DELL is not responsible for the cost or removal, return and/or reinstallation of products. This warranty does NOT apply to:
    a) Damage or loss which occurs during shipment.
    b) Damage or loss sustained thr,ough any natural or manmade causes beyond the control of
    BRONDELL, including but not limited to fi re, earthquake, floods, etc.
    c) Damage or loss resulting from sediments or foreign matter contained in a water system.
    d) Damage or loss resulting from negligent or improper installation including installation of a unit in a harsh or hazardous environment.
    e) Damage or loss resulting from removal, Improper repair, modification of the product, or Improper maintenance including damage caused by chlorine ,or chlorine related products.

  4. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have other rights which vary from state to state.

THIS WRITTEN WARRANTY IS THE ONLY WARRANTY MADE BY BRONDELL. REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AS
PROVIDED UNDER THIS WARRANTY SHALL BE THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY AVAILABLE TO THE PURCHASER. BRONDELL SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSS OF USE OF THE PRODUCT OR FOR OTHER INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, FOR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR EXPENSES INCURRED BY THE PURCHASER OR FOR LABOR OR OTHER COSTS DUE TO INSTALLATION OR REMOVAL OR COSTS OF REPAIRS BY OTHERS, OR FOR ANY OTHER EXPENSE NOT SPECIFICALLY STATED ABOVE. EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THAT OF MERCHANTABILITY, ARE EXPRESSLY LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION AND EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

How to Obtain service
To obtain repair service under this warranty, you must contact an authorized BRONDELL Service Center to obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. Proof of purchase in the form, of a copy of your original receipt must accompany the returned unit for the warranty to be valid. Take or ship the unit pre-paid to the closest Brondell authorized service center along with your RMA number and proof of purchase.
