Product Information

The lighting chain is designed for both indoor and outdoor use. It features a direct view and diffused view, providing versatile lighting options. The Allegro Dot M/L Mounting Guide and Smart Junction are included for easy installation. The distributor box ensures efficient distribution of power. The cable length is 300mm/11.8 for the pixel distributor and 204mm/8 for the first lamp or lamp holder.

Product Usage Instructions

Mounting the Allegro Dot M/L

To mount the Allegro Dot M/L, follow these steps:

1. Place the Allegro Dot M/L in the desired location.
2. Use M3 screws (not included) to secure the Allegro Dot M/L to the mounting surface.
3. If necessary, use cable ties (not included) to secure the Allegro Dot M/L and prevent any loose cables.

Mounting the LED Engine and Pixel Distributor

To mount the LED Engine and Pixel Distributor, follow these steps:

1. Ensure that the LED Engine is ordered separately and available.
2. Place the Pixel Distributor in the desired location with the connectors facing down.
3. Mount the LED Engine on top of the Pixel Distributor.
4. If M3 screws are not viable, use M5 anchor bolts (not included) as an alternative mounting method.

Mounting the Smart Junction

To mount the Smart Junction, follow these steps:

1. Place the Smart Junction in the desired location.
2. Use M4 screws (not included) to secure the Smart Junction to the mounting surface.

FAQ

• Q: Can the light source of this luminaire be replaced?
  • A: No, the light source of this luminaire is not replaceable. When it reaches its end of life, the entire luminaire needs to be replaced.
• Q: What is the minimum cable length between the pixel distributor and the first lamp or lamp holder?
  • A: The minimum cable length should not be less than 1.5m.
• Q: Can I connect the chain to the power supply while it is still in the packing?
  • A: No, it is advised not to connect the chain to the power supply while it is still in the packing.

CAUTION:

1. The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable; when the light source reaches its end of life the whole luminaire shall be replaced.
2. The length of the cable between the pixel distributor and the first lamp or lamp holder shall not be less than 1.5m.
3. Do not connect the chain to the supply while it is in the packing.

Mounting the Allegro Dot M/L

CAUTION:

1. Always use the housing unit for mounting. Handle string with care. Improper handling of lead cable and string will cause damage.
2. Warning-This lighting chain must not be used without all gaskets being in place.

Mounting the LED Engine and Pixel Distributor

This class III lighting chains delivered without a supply source, please select the suitable power source. Independent, constant voltage type, SELV DC 30 V output, the output power shall be not less than the lighting chain’s power, short-circuited proof, IP67 or above (if the IP rating is below IP67, the luminaire manufacturer shall provide adequate instructions for connection to the supply ensuring an equivalent degree of protection against harmful ingress of dust and moisture as that provided by the luminaire, for example, the PSU use indoors), which is/are EN/IEC 61347-1 and EN/IEC 61347-2-13 certified.

Mounting the Smart Junction

Requirement for Mating and Un-mating of Quick Lock Connectors

• CONNECT TO THE POWER SUPPLY IN ACCORDANCE WITH NATIONAL REGULATIONS.
• IF THE EXTERNAL FLEXIBLE CABLE OF THIS LUMINAIRE IS DAMAGED, IT SHALL BE EXCLUSIVELY REPLACED BY THE MANUFACTURER OR A SIMILAR QUALIFIED PERSON IN ORDER TO AVOID ANY HAZARD.
• INSTALLATION/MAINTENANCE ONLY BY SKILLED PERSONNEL.
• DURING OVERHAUL/MAINTENANCE ONLY USE ORIGINAL PARTS.
• IF ANY LUMINAIRE IS SUBSEQUENTLY MODIFIED, THE PERSON RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MODIFICATION SHALL BE CONSIDERED THE MANUFACTURER.
• THE MANUFACTURER BEARS NO LIABILITY FOR DAMAGE CAUSED BY INAPPROPRIATE USE OR APPLICATION.
