Battery installing and charging
Battery installing Charging
- Disconnect the power wire from the heli ,and connect to the USB in the right polarity.
- USB charger must be connected to computer USB port or other standard port device correctly. If the USB indicator light is red,the battery is charging. The indicator light turns green when the battery is fully charged.
NOTE:
- If the indicator on the remote control keeps flashing when maneuvering the power controller, this indicates that the batteries are low; they must be replaced.
- When done charging, please pull out the charger.
- Other USB power sources include LCD TV, DVD, cell phone, etc.
Operating helicopter
Install and connect the battery in the helicopter. The indicator lights on the
top of the helicopter will flash.
Then turn on the remote, pull the throttle stick to the highest point and then
to the lowest to connect with the helicopter. When the color lights on the
circuit board keep lighting, this indicates the frequency is successfully
matched.
- Put the helicopter on the floor with the tail facing the pilot.
- Press the one key take-off/landing to start flying.
-
Going up and going down
Slowly push up the throttle stick, and the rotor will spin faster and faster. When pulling down the throttle stick, the helicopter will gradually land on the floor. If it spins in the air, press the opposite direction trimmer to stable the helicopter. -
Turning left and right
Turn the throttle stick to right, and the heli flies right.
Turn the throttle stick to left, and the heli flies left. -
Flying forward
Pull the thorttle stick up, and the heli flies forward. -
Flying backward
Pull the thorttle stick down, and the heli flies backward.
NOTE: When operating the heli to fly forward or backward, it might spin; the trimmer can be used to adjust the direction.
- If the heli spins in the air even without touching the throttle stick, the trimmer on the remote can be adjusted till the heli is stabilized.
- If the heli spins counter-clockwise, turn the trimmer clockwise to stabilize it.
- If the heli spins clockwise, turn the trimmer counter-clockwise to stabilize it.
Operation instructions:
- Turn the helicopter power on; the red indicator flashes meaning it is ready to fly.
- Turn the remote on and the light on it flashes. This indicates that the throttle is locked in protect mode. Pull the throttle to the highest point and then to the lowest to unlock.
- Locking function: In any situation of falling off or crashing, the power in the helicopter will be turned off automatically. To unlock it, pull the throttle to the highest point and then to the lowest; this protects the motor and receiver board from over-heating.
- Heli battery over-discharging protection: The heli descends as the power gets lower.
When the power is below 3.0 V, the power is turned off automatically so the heli will not crash on the floor due to low power. This helpsto protect the battery and extends its life span, and makes the battery longer lasting and more powerful.
Operation tip
- Do not fly the heli in direct sunshine or strong light; this affects the flight.
- Do not cover the transmitting light on the remote; this affects infrared signal emitting.
- Do not paste any paper on the heli; this affects infrared signal receiving.
- Do not use other USB chargers to charge the heli.
- Do not mix new and old batteries in the remote.
- Do not mix chargeable and nonchargeable batteries in the remote.
Flying environment
- Indoor with smooth air flow. Note: cold air flow from AC etc affects flight.
- Open area. It is suggested that you fly the heli in an area at least 6 feet (width) 9 feet (length)3 feet (height).
- Safe area. It is strongly recommended that you fly the heli in an area with no AC, fans, lamps or hazardous objects, etc.
The heli comes with built-in Li-Poly batter; please note below:
-
Do not put the heli in a high temperature environment, such as flame or electronic heating device or the batter will explode or be damaged.
-
Do not put the heli under water or operate and store in a moist environment.
The heli must be kept in a dry environment. -
Do not leave the heli unattended when charging.
-
Do not charge the heli on flammable objects such as carpet.
