Application Information

The AirSelect Standard is a walking brace designed to provide support and comfort during the healing process. It is suitable for individuals with foot or ankle injuries.

Prepare Brace

  1. Before applying the brace, ensure that it is clean and free from any debris or dirt.
  2. If necessary, adjust the straps to the appropriate size for your foot or ankle.

Apply Brace

  1. Carefully slide your foot into the brace, ensuring that the heel is properly positioned at the back of the brace.
  2. Securely fasten the straps around your foot and ankle, making sure they are snug but not too tight.

Adjust Aircell Compression

The STANDARD walking brace comes with air cells that provide support and compression. Follow these steps to adjust the compression:

  1. The air cells are initially deflated. Locate the inflation valve on each cell.
  2. Using the provided pump, inflate the air cells by squeezing the pump bulb until you reach the desired level of compression.

Deflate Aircells

If you need to decrease the compression or deflate the air cells, follow these steps:

  1. Locate the deflation valve on each cell.
  2. Gently press or squeeze the valve to release the air and deflate the air cells.

Cleaning Instructions

To keep your AirSelect Standard clean and in good condition, follow these cleaning instructions:

  • Use a mild soap and water solution to gently clean the brace.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that may damage the materials.
  • Allow the brace to air dry completely before using or storing it.

FAQ

  • Q: Can I wear the AirSelect Standard while showering or swimming?

Adjust Aircell Compression

The STANDARD walking brace air cells are initially deflated.

  • Begin inflation on the injured side first. Turn the SELECTOR found on the right side of the brace to the appropriate number. Number 1 inflates the aircell on the right side and Number 2 inflates the aircell on the left side.

  • To inflate the aircell, press and release the LARGE inflation pump found on the top right side
of the brace. Pump until the cell feels snug.

  • Repeat to inflate other air.

Deflate Aircells

  • To deflate aircells, turn the SELECTOR to the proper aircell number.
  • Press and hold your finger on the SMALL release button found on the top right side of the brace.
  • Deflate until the pressure is comfortable.

NOTE
Deflate air cells before removing the brace for proper fit when reapplying.

Higher pressure provides more support when walking, and lower pressure is more comfortable when sitting or reclining. Pressure can also be adjusted by tightening or loosening straps.
