- Power ON/OFF
- Power ON : Long press the power button, and indicator2 flashes blue.
- Power OFF : Long press the power button, and the indicator and backlight will be off.
- Bluetooth Pairing
- Step 1 : For the first use, turn on KB09118 and then the keyboard will automatically enter pairing mode. You can also long press simultaneously for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode. In pairing mode, indicator 2 flashes blue.
- Step 2 : On your iPad, go to Settings> Bluetooth, turn on Bluetooth and then “lnateck KB09118” will show up in “other Devices”.
- Step 3 : Tap “lnateck KB09118” to pair it with your iPad. The indicator 2 will stay on in seconds, which means that Bluetooth pairing is completed.

For better user experience, please follow steps below to set up your iPad at first use once Bluetooth pairing is completed.

Go to Settings> General> Trackpad and drag the slider to the middle of the tracking speed.

Go to Settings> General> Trackpad and turn on “Tap to Click” and “Two Finger Secondary Click”. Go to Settings> Accessibility> Touch and turn off Assistive louch.

Fix Bluetooth Pairing Problems:

Step 1: Go to Settings> Bluetooth, find “lnateck KB09118” in My Devices and tap the info
button next to it, then tap “Forget This Device”. If there are multiple pairing records related to the keyboard, please clear all of them. -

Restore Factory Defaults
Hold simultaneously for 3 seconds and then the two indicators will blink for 3 times once the factory reset is completed.Then, the keyboard will enter Bluetooth pairing mode and indicator 2 flashes blue.
Check Battery Level
You can check the battery level of the keyboard through the battery widget on the iPad ‘s Today View. You can also add the battery widget to the Home Screen to view the battery level of the keyboard.
Note : There will be a deviation of about 5% between the battery level displayed by the iPad battery widget and the actual battery level. Please refer to the indicator light for the following situations:
- When the keyboard is charging, please judge whether it is fully charged according to the color of indicator 2, red or green.
- When the battery is low, please refer to the red flashing condition of indicator 2.
Charging
When the battery level is under 20%, the indicator 2 will blink in red. Please recharge the keyboard in time. The recommended charging voltage is 5V. The keyboard will be fully charged in 2~3 hours. The indicator 2 will stay in red when the keyboard is charging and turn green when it’s fully charged.
Sleep Mode
- When KB09118 is left idle for 1 minutes, the backlight will turn off.
- When KB09118 is left idle for 10 minutes, it will enter sleep mode and the Bluetooth connection will be disrupted. The connection can be rebuilt with a press of any key.
( Note: Tapping the trackpad cannot wake up the keyboard.
