Function

With this dosing pump you can automatically and precisely add a certain amount of liquid (between 1 and 9999 ml) to your aquarium, terrarium or pond at a time interval between 1 and 72 hours.

Installation

  • Place the dosing pump in a dry, accessible place near your aquarium, terrarium or pond. You can easily set the pump down or hang it up with the suspension eye on the back.
Fig. B Attach a tube via the tube coupling to the inlet of the pump, this inlet tube goes into the reservoir with the liquid to be dosed. Make sure the end of this tube is at the bottom of the reservoir.

  • Attach a tube via the non-return valve to the outlet of the pump, this tube goes to the aquarium, sump, terrarium or pond.
Fig. C NOTICE! The maximum head of the dosing pump is 1.5 metres, bear this in mind when installing the dosing pump and the reservoir.

  • Turn the dosing pump on by plugging it into the mains.

Calibration (before first use)

  • The pump must be calibrated before use. This requires a reservoir of water and a measuring cup of at least 100ml.
  • Put the inlet tube into the reservoir.
  • Start the pump ( See programming: Manual dosing ) so that the tubes are completely filled with water. Make sure that there is no air left in the tubing before calibrating the dosing pump.
  • Stop the pump.
  • Put the other tube into the empty measuring cup.
  • Now you can start the calibration ( See programming: Pump calibration ).

Control panel

The following settings can be programmed using the control panel on the dosing pump:

  • The current time (F1).
  • Manual dosing (F2).
  • Calibration (F3).
  • Reservoir content (F4), can be set to 9999 ml.
  • Dosing quantity (F5), can be set between 1 and 9999 ml.
  • Dosing interval (F6), can be set between 1 and 72 hours.
  • With the arrows and you can choose the settings.
  • The OK button allows you to programme the setting.
  • Use the arrows and to change the times and values.
  • The arrow saves the programmed setting.

The display shows F2, press OK and the pump starts pumping.
The tube fills slowly with water and the water will flow out of the other tube.
Press OK to stop pumping.
Press to move on to the calibration of the pump (F3).

Calibrating the pump (F3)
Before calibrating, make sure there is no air in the tubes and that the measuring cup is empty.
The display shows F3, press OK to start the pump.
The display will show the calibration value incrementing
Press OK to stop the pump when the water level in the measuring cup reaches 100 ml.
Press to save the calibration value or press to save and proceed to setting the reservoir content (F4).
NOTICE! Repeat calibration regularly to ensure correct dosing.

Setting the content of the reservoir (F4)
The display shows F4, press OK
Press or to set the amount of dosing medium (1-9999 ml) in the reservoir
By pressing OK you can switch between
Press to save the setting or press to save and proceed to setting the dosing quantity (F5).
If the liquid in the reservoir is insufficient for the next dosage, the unit emits an alarm signal.
End the alarm signal by pressing OK. Refill the reservoir and set the reservoir content (F4) again.
If the alarm goes off during programming, switch the pump off and on again briefly and then press OK to stop the alarm.

By pressing OK you can switch between
Press to save the setting or press to save and to continue with setting the dosing interval (F6).

Setting the dosing interval (F6)
The display shows F6, press OK
Press or to set the time between the doses (between 1 hour and 72 hours) F6 36
Press to save the setting. The pump will immediately dose the set quantity under F5. The next dose will follow according to the set interval time under F6.
NOTICE! If you do not want the pump to start dosing immediately, press first and then press .
The dosing interval set under F6 is saved and will not start dosing until after the time set.
