Conditions
This documentation is intended to enable you to work safely and expertly with and on your equipment. It is therefore necessary to read and understand every part of it thoroughly prior to operating the installation. All relevant local and national regulations must be strictly observed whenever waste water or the residue of waste water is present in the installation. This is in order to avoid injury to people and damage to the environment. This documentation is to be accessible at all times.
This document has been compiled with the greatest of care and is based on the latest level of technology available at the time of publication. Safety
General safety washers
For safety reasons, changes and modifications to the installation are not permitted without the written consent of Elpress BV. The manufacturer will not be liable for any damage arising from the failure to obtain such consent. This also applies to components that are used and possibly sealed by Elpress BV.

The safety conditions, regulations and instructions described in this chapter are to be strictly complied with at all times. Furthermore, all local and national rules and regulations must be observed at all times.

Safety regulations
- The installation may only be used once this user manual has been read.
- The door to the maintenance room must be closed at all times and may be opened by authorized persons only.
- The installation has been designed to operate in a frost-free environment. If the system freezes up, its functionality must be thoroughly checked.
- The installation works automatically by means of sensors.
- Safety items including safety gloves, clothing, goggles, etc., must always be available for the operating and maintenance personnel.
- It is strictly forbidden to smoke, eat or drink while operating and/or carrying out maintenance on the installation.
- Incorrect operation and use of the installation may cause damage to the system.
- Do not use the installation after it has been damaged. Have it inspected by an authorized installation engineer and repaired as necessary.
Caution
The transfer, locating and initial commissioning of the installation must be
carefully carried out. Transfer or initial commissioning that is incorrectly
carried out can be dangerous for both people and the environment. Expert
installation and maintenance are preconditions for trouble-free operation.
Caution
Each product manufactured by Elpress BV leaves the factory only after having
been tested. If the equipment is not going to be installed immediately, it
should be stored in a dry and frost-free area that is suitable for its design
structure.
Intended use
General
- The systems are intended solely for the cleaning or disinfecting of soles, as well as for the soaping, washing, drying and disinfecting of hands.
- Ensure that the installation contains sufficient chemical. 1x jerry can 5 litres max. for hand disinfection q. 1x jerry can 5 litres max. for soap w.
- An audible signal and potential-free fault contact are activated when the level of chemical falls too low. In addition, the pilot lamp will start to flash red/green. In this case, insert a new jerry can of chemical.
- To start the installation:
- Connect to installation to a power supply.
- Turn the main switch on to start the installation 3.
SANICARE / SANICARE-DYSON
Use during evacuation
The system is turned off with the red main switch e (see the figure in section
General (refer to “General” on page 10)), which results in the turnstile no
longer being blocked. Everyone can then enter and exit unimpeded.
SANICARE / SANICARE-DYSON
Switch the installation off by disconnecting it from the power supply. The
consequence of this is that the machine no longer gives out any water.
EWG-EZR
- If the installation is not equipped with a main switch, the plug must be disconnected from the power supply. If a hard-wired power connection is intended, a main switch must be placed between the installation and the power supply.

Cleaning and maintenance
Cleaning preparations
The control panel of the installation may never be cleaned with a jet of liquid (e.g. garden hose or high-pressure cleaner). This could lead to irreversible damage being caused to the installation.
The following points are important for cleaning the installation:

Disconnect the installation from the power supply.

Daily maintenance
Check whether sufficient chemicals are available r (see also the figure in section Cleaning preparations (refer to “Cleaning preparations” on page 13)).
- The wash basin must be cleaned several times during use as well as at the end of each working day or if dirty.
- Clean and dry the lens of the sensor. For this purpose, use a soft cloth to avoid damaging the sensor.
- Clean brushes of the sole cleaner.
Weekly maintenance

Clean dispenser components with non-scratch cleaning agent t (see the figures in section Cleaning preparations (refer to “Cleaning preparations” on page 13) and section Daily maintenance (refer to
“Daily maintenance” on page 14)). -
Check the drain of the wash basin. If necessary, clean the syphon on the underside

Get rid of dirt.
