HOW TO KNOW IF TAYLOR SCALE IS CORRECT
The scale should be kept flat, advises Taylor. If you weigh yourself twice, you could occasionally find that the results are somewhat off. The scale is functioning properly if the two weights are within two pounds of one another (or within one percent for weights exceeding 200 pounds).
HOW TO CHANGE TAYLOR SCALE FROM PONDS TO DIGITAL
The weight display on your scale is set to pounds (lb.). To choose between the units of measurement of kilograms (kg) and stone (st lb.) (1 stone equals 14 pounds), press the “UNIT” button on the scale’s bottom. You can use your Smart Scale as a standard weight-reading scale.
HOW TO CALIBRATE
Your scale’s weight display is set to pounds (lb.). Press the “UNIT” button on the scale’s bottom to switch between the measuring units of kilograms (kg) and stone (st lb.), where one stone is equivalent to 14 pounds. Your Smart Scale can be used as a typical weight-reading scale.

Help! Batteries are finally dead! I cannot figure out how to remove them from the scale after the cover has been removed.****
There are two screws, get a screwdriver,
Is it slippery to step on? Does it need programming?****
Not slippery at all if your feet are dry! The only programming you have to do is push — once –a button on the back to change from pounds to kilos.
does it show kg ? or only lb. ?****
My husband said it will show either pounds or kg.

Does this scale come with a certificate of calibration?****
Greetings from Filament Brands! Thank you for your interest in the Taylor Stainless Steel Lithium Scale. No, this scale does not come with a certificate of calibration enclosed. A certificate of conformance can be provided to you when you reach out to us directly by calling 866-843-3905 Monday thru Friday 8am-5pm MST or email us anytime at prodsupport@filamentbrands.com.
I have to move my scale (an earlier Taylor model) a few inches away from the corner to use it. Will this radically affect this scales’ accuracy?****
NO. The scale likes to have a home, once it is there it will be OK, now the scale did not cost $1500.00. It may be a few pounds off. Don’t ask it to do wonders. It looks good and everyone who sees it will use it, but the scale never lies. I have little nephews and they love to use it. they say I am 43.6 lbs. we should be so lucky.
Alkaline batteries for the above Tylor scales?****
No clue returned without opening.
Can u use this scale 8f u have a pace maker?****
I’m sorry, when it comes to Pacemakers I’m shooting far above my pay grade. Nevertheless, I don’t see that this Taylor model has Bluetooth or some other transmitted frequency that could interfere with said unit.

What does Lo On read out mean?****
returned item never opened.
Is it ok to use with a pace maker?****
Yes however pacemakers vary. I am not aware of any restrictions with this product and my pacemaker.
Is this the 7413 model?****
No it’s Model 7404.
I found a 3 pound variance when I weighed myself on a kitchen linoleum floor and then a hardwood floor. Which weight is correct?****
I’m sorry, I have not experienced this. I have tried the scale on carpet and tile and I get the same reading. Have you tried moving the scale to different spots on the linoleum or hardwood floor and see if you get different readings? Myself, I would use the lowest reading and feel better about myself.
I see some scales say not to store it on its side. Is this one of them?****
For best results, we do not recommend storing any of our sales on their side but if space restraints require that you store the scale on its side, it may require more frequent calibration.
Does this scale have “auto-start”……so that you do not have to “tap” it to wake it up?****
Must step on then step off each time you want to weigh. When the 00 shows the scale is ready so step on again with both feet.
