Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):

Usage of Medical protective gloves?

We recommend the use of nitrile gloves instead of latex gloves in the operation of our products. This reduces the risk of allergies and avoids yellowing of the product by abrasion of the latex.

How to determine the battery status?

  1. The low battery indicator LED is located at the bottom side next to the optical sensor. 2) Press both mouse buttons at the same time to activate the low battery indicator LED. 3) The indicator lights up green: The batteries are sufficiently charged! 4) The indicator lights up red: The batteries must be replaced! 5) The mouse switches off automatically if the battery voltage is too low.

How to pair a new USB-RF-Dongle with the mouse?

Note: This procedure is only required if you received a replacement USB- Wireless-Dongle. This is necessary if the original receiver was lost or damaged. New pairing may also resolve a wireless connection problem. 1) Make sure any other USB-Wireless-Dongle(s) belonging to Active key wireless products in the near neighborhood are removed from the USB ports. Do only connect the USB-Wireless-Dongle that shall get paired. 2) Install the batteries to the mouse. Place the mouse as close as possible to the dongle. Initiate the pairing between USB-Wireless-Dongle and mouse by depressing middle button (inside the battery compartment) for one time. The battery indicator LED will flash for 3 seconds until pairing process completed. 3) Test basic functionality of the keyboard. In case the pairing process failed, double check Step 1 and repeat. In case the pairing process does not lead to success, please consult with Customer Service.

Difference between the product models

The mice models behave differently when scrolling: a) 3-Button Scroll Variant is more suitable for applications that require precise scrolling, e.g. Excel applications or imaging applications. b) Touch-Scroll Variant is more suitable for office applications.
