GENERAL
PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE. KEEP THIS USER GUIDE FDR FUTURE REFERENCE. THIS APPLIANCE IS INTENDED FDR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY.

  • This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years or older and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge, provided they are supervised or have been instructed in the safe use of the appliance and understand the potential hazards.
  • Children must not play with the appliance. This is not a toy.
  • Children under 3 years of age should be prevented from accessing the appliance unless they are permanently supervised.
  • Children aged between 3 and 8 years must only switch this appliance on/off provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and that they are supervised or have been instructed in the safe use of the appliance and understand the potential hazards. Children aged between 3 and 8 must not insert the plug into the socket, regulate or clean the appliance or carry out user maintenance. Children must not use the appliance.
  • Cleaning and maintenance by the user must not be carried out by unsupervised children.
  • If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service technician or a similarly qualified person to avoid
    • dangerous situation. It is forbidden to use the appliance with
    • damaged power cord or plug.

WARNING :
To prevent overheating, do not cover the heater. The heater must not be placed just below an electrical socket. Do not use this heater in the immediate vicinity of a bath, shower or swimming pool. Do not use the heater near any water sources.

WARNING :
Do not use this heater in small rooms if they are occupied by persons who are unable to leave the room on their own, unless permanent supervision is provided.

WARNING
Some parts of this product may become very hot and cause burns. Special attention must be paid to the presence of children and people with disabilities. Do not use this heater if it has fallen. Do not use if there are visible signs of damage to the heater. Use this heater on a horizontal and stable surface. The heater is not designed for wall mounting.

WARNING :
To reduce the risk of fire, keep fabrics, curtains or any other combustible material at least 1 m away from the air outlet.

SAFE USE OF THE APPLIANCE

  • The appliance is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors.
  • The appliance serves as a heater and fan for personal use in the home, office or similar areas. Do not use it for commercial purposes. Do not use it for any purpose other than that for which it is intended. It is forbidden to convert the appliance for another purpose. Do not use any accessories that are not recommended by the manufacturer.
  • Follow the instructions in this User Guide.
  • Do not move the heater if it is hot.
  • Do not use the heater to dry laundry.
  • The heater must not be used in transport vehicles.
  • Do not leave the heater unattended while it is in use.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY

  • Before plugging the power plug in, make sure that the voltage on the rating plate of the appliance matches the voltage at your mains socket. If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician.
  • Make sure the heater is switched off before connecting. The main switch must be in position 0 (off).
  • Only plug the power plug into a properly earthed mains socket.
  • Do not use extension cords, multiple sockets or adapters.
  • It is recommended to connect the appliance to a separate electrical circuit.
  • Do not immerse the appliance, power cord or plug in water or any other liquid. There is a risk of electrical injury.
  • Do not touch the plug with wet or damp hands, especially when plugging in or unplugging from the power supply.
  • Route the power cord so that it does not touch hot surfaces, so that it cannot be stepped on or tripped over. The power cord must not be routed covered, e.g. under the carpet. Make sure that the power cord does not hang over the edge of the table or worktop, get tangled, bend excessively or touch sharp objects.
  • Do not use the appliance with a programmer, timer, remote control system or any other system that automatically switches it on and off.
  • Switch off the appliance, unplug the power plug from the mains socket whenever you leave it unattended, do not use it, before moving, cleaning or storing it. Allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning.
  • The main switch at the rear of the appliance is used to switch off the appliance. Do not switch off the appliance by removing the power plug from the mains socket.
  • Disconnect the power cord from the mains socket by pulling the plug, not by pulling the cord. There is a risk of damage to the power cord or the mains socket.
  • The socket must be located close to the appliance and must be easily accessible.

SAFE PLACEMENT OF THE APPLIANCE

  • Provide sufficient clearance around the appliance to ensure air circulation, at least 15 cm on each side.
  • Do not place the appliance on unstable surfaces such as carpet, bed or tilted surfaces.
  • Do not use the appliance in a place where flammable, volatile or explosive substances are used or stored.
  • Do not block the ventilation openings of the appliance. There is a risk of overheating and subsequent damage.

SAFE APPLIANCE OPERATION

  • Do not insert any objects into the holes in the front or rear part. There is a risk of electrical injury and damage to the appliance.
  • Protect the appliance from drops or knocks.

SAFE MAINTENANCE

  • Use only a dry cloth to clean the appliance. Follow the instructions in this User Guide.
  • Never insert a wet or damp filter into the heater.
  • If the appliance, power cord or plug are damaged or the appliance is not working properly, stop using it and contact an authorised service centre. Do not carry out the repair yourself.
  • Neither the manufacturer, the importer nor the dealer accepts liability for any damage caused by incorrect assembly or use of the product.

BEFORE FIRST USE

  • Remove all packaging and foils and store them for later use.
  • Check that the heater is complete and not damaged.
  • Wipe the outer surface of the heater with a dry cloth.

PLACEMENT

  • Place the heater on a firm, level and dry surface well away from the mains socket.
  • Provide sufficient clearance around the heater to ensure air circulation, at least 15 cm on each side.
  • To reduce the risk of fire, keep fabrics, curtains or any other combustible material at least 1 m away from the air outlet.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Basic use

  1. Plug the power plug into the mains socket and switch the main switch to the”I” (on) position. An audible warning sounds and the heater switches to standby mode.
  2. Press the button to switch the heater on. The heater starts in heater mode. The operation indicator light will turn red.
  3. Press the button again to switch the heater to fan mode. The operation indicator light will turn blue.
  4. Press the button again to switch the heater off and into standby mode. The operation indicator light goes out.
  5. Switch the main switch to “0” (off). Disconnect the power plug from the mains socket.

WARNING:
In heater mode, the front grille heats up. Do not touch the front of the appliance.

Note :
If you switch the heater off in heater mode, the fan will run for about 20 seconds before it shuts off completely. This is a normal phenomenon when the heating element cools down.

HORIZONTAL ROTATION OF THE HEATER

  1. Press the button while the heater is in heater or fan mode.
  2. The heater starts to rotate from left to right and vice versa.
  3. Press the button again and the heater will stop rotating.

OVERTURNING

  • The heater is equipped with a tip-over safety sensor.
  • If the heater falls during operation, the sensor detects the change in heater position and the operation is automatically stopped.
  • Once the heater is in the operating position, it will start again. However, check that it has not been damaged.

OVERHEATING

  • The heater is equipped with a thermal fuse to protect it from overheating.
  • If the temperature sensor detects that the overheating temperature limit is exceeded, the thermal fuse is activated and the heater is switched off. In this case, the heater must be reset (more information below).

THERMAL FUSE RESET

  1. Disconnect the power plug from the mains socket for approximately 10 minutes to allow the heater to cool down.
  2. Check the heater and remove the possible cause of overheating or provide more space for air circulation.
  3. After 10 minutes, plug the power plug into the mains socket and switch on the heater.

If the heater does not start, switch it off and contact an authorised service centre.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Before cleaning and maintenance, switch off the heater, unplug the power plug from the mains socket and allow it to cool down.

WARNING:
Do not immerse the appliance, power cord or plug in water or any other liquid. There is a risk of electrical injury.

Note :
Do not use any abrasive or chemical cleaners, benzene, solvents, alcohol, etc. for cleaning.

  • Wipe the outer surface of the heater with a dry cloth.
  • Use a vacuum cleaner with the brush nozzle fitted to remove dust from the front and rear grilles.
  • The filter should be removed and washed from time to time. Press the latch on the rear protective grille. Remove it and remove the filter. Wash the filter in warm water. Do not use any cleaning agents. Wring out the filter gently in your hand and let it dry freely. Do not use a dryer or hair dryer for drying. Do not dry the filter in direct sunlight. When the filter is dry, insert it into the heater and fit the rear protective grille.

WARNING:
Never insert a wet or damp filter into the heater. Serious damage to the heater is imminent.

STORAGE

  • Before storing, clean the heater according to the instructions above.
  • Store the heater in its original box or other packaging in a dry and shady place out of reach of children and pets.
