Assembling the tricycle
WARNING! Keep small items out of reach of children.
Remove the protection from the rear wheel bolts (2) and connect the wheels to
the frame (1) (fig. A). Using the mounting spanner (18), unscrew the screw
fixed on the bumper (4) and then attach the bumper to the front fork (3) using
this screw (fig. B). Unscrew the fastening screws from the fork, slide the
fork one by one onto the plastic pins located on the front wheel (5) (fig. C)
and secure it on both sides with the previously unscrewed fastening screws
(fig. D). Connect the folded parts of the frame and fork (fig. E). Make sure
that the notch on the mudguard is in the direction of the travel side, the
plastic element for mounting the pull rod (9) must be on the left side. Screw
the bell (7) to the steering (6) and slide the cap (8) on (fig. F). Connect
the folded frame and handlebars, paying attention to the correct positioning
of the holes in the fork and handlebars (fig. G), using the screw (fig. H). To
connect the parental handle to the handlebars, insert the end of the rod (9)
without the nut into the hole on the side of the front fork (fig. I). Unscrew
the nut from the other end of the rod and fasten it to the back of the frame,
in the place where the parental handle is attached. Tighten the nut (fig. J).
Pay attention to the correct assembly of the pull rod, if it is placed in the
wrong hole, the steering wheel and the parent’s handle will not be straight at
the same time. Attach the side shields (11) to the seat (10) as shown in Fig.
K. Remove the nut from the bolt under the seat and then put the seat bolt
through the hole in the base (20) and frame (fig. L). Lower the footrest by
pulling the grey lever (fig. M) and fasten the seat by tightening the nut
(fig. N). Slide the loose trim strip into the side shields (11) and fasten
them (fig. O). Insert the canopy (12) into the holes at the back of the
backrest and secure it with the levers (fig. P). Fold out the canopy as needed
(fig. Q). Unscrew the fixing screw attached under the parental handle hole on
the frame and use it to fix the basket (13) to the frame (1) (fig. R). Connect
both parts of the parental handle (14 & 15) (fig. S) and then insert them into
the hole at the back of the frame (above the basket) (fig. T). Slide the
cupholder into the parental holder and hang the sachet (fig. U). Optionally,
you can set the seat rear-facing to the direction of travel (fig. V).
Adjusting the tricycle
- Position of the canopy – canopy length is adjustable. It has an additional sun shade, which can be pulled out from underneath.
- Footrest − depending on the level of the child’s development, the footrest may be folded/unfolded to enable the child to ride the tricycle independently. Whenever the footrest is unfolded, enable the pedal lock in the front wheel (red lever). WARNING! Whenever the parent’s handle is mounted and the footrest is unfolded, the wheel lock should be disengaged so that the pedals rotate freely without causing the wheel to move (transmission off). Without disengaging the lock, feet may be crushed or injured! After removing the parent handle, fold up the footrest and engage the wheel lock so that the pedals set the wheel in motion (transmission on). To unfold/fold footrests, pull the lever (fig. M), then adjust them in a comfortable position.
- Adjust the belts − adjust their length to hold the child firmly, but not to block its movements.
- Seat position − the seat can be adjusted forwards and backwards and turned rearwards. To do this, unscrew the nut and set the appropriate position. After tightening, make sure the seat is securely fastened. The tricycle can be adapted for older children by removing the safety belts, the rod, seat covers, hood, side shields and the handle for parents and folding the footrest.
- Adjusting the length of the handle for the parent – press the button (Fig. S), slide down and snap the handle in a lower position, if the previous length was too high.
